When Jimin had woken up the next day he could feel warmth on his neck. He opened his eyes and moved to get up, but an arm was blocking him from doing that. "What the..." Jimin mumbled and turned around to his other side so he wasn't facing the wall.

That's when he was met with Jeongguk's chest in his face. Jimin furrowed his eyebrows. Out of the nights they slept together this is the first time Jeongguk has moved himself and invaded Jimin's space like this. And Jimin didn't hate it. Still, it was surprising.

Jimin looked up so he could get a good look at Jeongguk's face. How could one man be so attractive? Especially when he was sleeping peacefully. For some reason this all felt so familiar and right. At this point Jimin couldn't deny it himself. He had known this man for a week and already had a crush on him. He didn't know if this was love at first sight or what.

Jeongguk's eyes suddenly came open and looked right into Jimin's. That surprised Jimin to say the least. He once again blushed at being caught staring.

"Hey...did you come closer and start cuddling me?" Jeongguk asked Jimin completely misunderstanding and not realizing he was the one who started this.

Jimin pushed Jeongguk away from him and sat up quickly. "No! It wasn't me, idiot. It was you who got close to me and invaded my space."Jimin corrected him.

"Oh geez. Really? I guess my body must be really attracted to your's. We're compatible." Jeongguk said and let out a laugh with a goofy grin on his face.

Jimin sighed and stared at Jeongguk. Who could be mad at someone who looks like him? Not Jimin. That's for sure. "Whatever. I'm going to get ready for the day." Jimin told him getting out of the bed.

"What are you going to do today? It's the weekend so it's free time." Jeongguk asked. He was still laying in bed and didn't seem like he would be getting up anytime soon.

Jimin wondered about that. What would he do today? He didn't exactly have any friends to hang out with. It wasn't like he could go home either. It seemed as though Solar didn't often give students permission to leave school grounds. Let alone rank Z's who might lose control.

"I'm...not sure. Maybe I could go on a run around the campus." Jimin spoke more to himself than to Jeongguk. He just knew that he didn't want to stay in the room all day. He still wasn't use to this vampire lifestyle and wanted to act as humanely as he could here.

Jeongguk sat up with a smile. "You can hang out with me then! Even if it's just working out. I like doing that too." Jeongguk then flexed his muscles to prove his point.

If it was an anime Jimin could definitely see himself having a nose bleed in this moment. "Jeongguk, I hang out with you everyday. Don't you want to hang out with someone else?" Jimin said keeping his composure.

"No. Why would I? I like you Jimin and I like hanging out with you too." Jeongguk admitted giving Jimin a serious look.

Jimin really couldn't believe how straight forward this boy was. It surprised him each time even though he should be use to it. "What about your other friends? Namjoon, Taehyung, or Hoseok? Won't they get jealous if you spend all your time with me?"

"They should understand that I like you and not mind it. Come on. Let's spend the day together. We've only spent time in class together. Not the free time. I actually want to show you the school garden. It's the one place I like to go to in order to think to myself." Jeongguk explained and got out of the bed.

Jimin could tell there would be no changing Jeongguk's mind. Plus he really didn't have anything else to do. So a day with the prince wouldn't hurt. And it would only be the two of them. Maybe he could get to know the prince better.

——

When the two of them were dressed they made their way out of the room. Jeongguk was leading the way. There weren't many students out most of them would sleep in on the weekend. Those who were out weren't giving Jimin any looks. Because of the stunt he pulled many people viewed him different. Although there was still the few who saw him as only a Z rank who stepped out of place.

"The garden is only allowed access by a few. Luckily I am apart of those few." Jeongguk told Jimin with a smile. He seemed extra happy to be spending the day with Jimin.

"It must be pretty grand if that's the case. I can only imagine what a private garden here looks like." Jimin said. Jeongguk's room was the first thing that shocked him. These royals seemed to have a lot of money to supply plenty of grand things.

Jeongguk nodded. "Trust me. You'll love it. It's Ali it's like another world in there." Jeongguk said raising the expectations even more.

"Jeongguk." A voice called out from in front of them. It caught both of their attentions easily. In front of them was a woman who was pretty tall around 5'10. She had black hair that reached down to her lower back. She was wearing a golden dressed that touched the floor and a Ruby necklace. She gave the two boys a smile.

"Ah- mother! Hello! How are you?" Jeongguk greeted his mother by bowing.

Jimin caught that and bowed as well. If this was Jeongguk's mother that meant she was the principal and queen...or goddess. However the vampires called her, she was a very important figure within them. And if Jeongguk, her own child, was bowing to her then she must be pretty powerful.

"Please. Stand upright, the both of you. I am just saying hello." Solar said with a smile on her face. Her features were almost too similar to Jeongguk's. But she was beautiful nonetheless.

Solar's eyes landed right on Jimin. "You're the new student, yes?  The famous Z rank who beat the obstacle course. You're really special." Solar told him.

Jimin shyly smiled at the compliment and recognition. "Eh...it was nothing too special. I just wanted to prove that Z ranks could do the impossible." Jimin told her softly.

Solar tilted her head to the side and got closer to Jimin. "Of course it's special. I'm proud of you. Yes, you'll make a great fiancé to Jeongguk. Why, you already smell so much like him. I wonder how that came about. Sharing blood perhaps?"

That was a lot of Jimin to process. Every single bit of it. Fiancé? Sharing blood? What was this lady talking about? And how did she know that Jeongguk was giving his blood to Jimin?

Jeongguk nervously laughed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Mother, what are you talking about? Sharing blood? That isn't allowed! I would never break the rules! Anyways, Jimin and I are heading off to the garden now!" Jeongguk gave a horribly nervous response and pulled Jimin along.

"You couldn't have been more obvious." Jimin told Jeongguk once they had finally made it to the garden. However the view of the garden is what really caught his attention in this moment. "Wow...amazing."

"You weren't kidding when you said it was out of this world. I can see how sitting out here would be peaceful." Jimin said going over to one of the couches to have a seat.

Jeongguk nodded and sat in a chair next to Jimin. "I know. Sometimes I have to come out here and take some deep breaths. Nothing feels better than that." Jeongguk closed his eyes and took in a breath then exhaled slowly.

Jimin sat there thinking to himself. Why did Solar say he was Jeongguk's fiancé? That is not something mothers would normally say to their son's roommates. At least Jimin assumed that since he's never exactly been in this position before. Maybe vampires were different socially?

"Hey, jeongguk? Why did your mom call me your fiancé? Does she always say things like this to mess with people?" Jimin asked. He figured this was a way for her to tease him. Even if it was a strange way to do that.

Jeongguk opened his eyes and looked at Jimin. He gave him a pretty serious and intense stare. It almost sent shivers down Jimin's spine since he's never seen the prince look this serious before.

"I...I have no idea why she said that." Jeongguk suddenly lost the seriousness and put his hands up cluelessly. He couldn't even explain his mother's actions.

Jimin had a face of disbelief. "What was with the serious look then?!" He exclaimed before rubbing his temple. "So that was just something random your mother said?"

Jeongguk smiled. "Probably. I wouldn't think about it too much. She was probably just being strange." Jeongguk assured him. Although he was wondering himself why she would say that. His mother wasn't one to joke around like that. And it was already strange that she assigned a Z rank to his room let alone put him in a class for high ranks. Something was definitely up.

"What? Did you actually want to be my fiancé? Does the thought of marrying me make you happy?" Jeongguk jokingly teased him moving a bit closer to him.

Jimin punched Jeongguk on the shoulder for that remark. "Dont be stupid. I barely know you. Let alone marry you? Unless I want to be threatened by royals and rich vampires for the rest of my life, no thanks!"

Jeongguk pouted and rubbed his shoulder. "What? Marrying me wouldn't be that bad. I can be a pretty fun person. You wouldn't even mind the attention you get from others." Jeongguk said.

"You're not gonna convince me to marry you." Jimin said crossing his arms. "Why are we even talking about this like it's a possibility?" Jimin looked out at the trees in front of him.

Jeongguk looked at the trees as well. "So, Jimin. What was it like for you growing up?" Jeongguk asked. "I realized I've never really asked you about yourself before...you know, you turned." Jeongguk asked.

Jimin wasn't expecting any questions about himself. But it's not like he mined answering. "Before turning? Life was pretty simple. I lived with my grandma, went to school, had friends, and worked a part time job. I can't remember my parents or any of my life from when I was young. My memories pretty much start at the age of 14 and waking up on a hospital bed. I couldn't remember anything, but my own name. So I don't know who my parents are." Jimin explained.

"Wow...that must've been really scary to experience. Do you know why you were in the hospital?" Jeongguk asked. "If you don't mind me asking."

Jimin shook his head. "No, it's okay. I can answer. My grandma said my parents and I had got into a terrible car accidents. I ended up almost dying because of it. It was a miracle that I even survived." Jimin told him. "Isn't it funny? Unfortunate things seem to travel my way. From getting in an accident, losing my memories, and now I am a vampire. I had to move away from home and be separated from the society I've always known. Sometimes I wonder if I'm specifically cursed."

Jeongguk frowned and got up to pull Jimin into a hug. "Dont say that. You aren't cursed. But you have had it rough. I won't deny that." Jeongguk let Jimin go and looked him in his eyes. "I've decided that I'm going to make sure you have the best time ever at the academy. And I will protect you too. Nothing bad will come to you." Jeongguk declared confidentially.

Jimin's eyes widened. This boy barely knew him and was willing to do something like this. Maybe he was fit to be a king one day. Jimin smiled and grabbed Jeongguk's face. Without any second thought he placed his lips right on top of the Prince's.

Jeongguk was surprised to say the least. But once that shock was gone he placed his hands on Jimin's hips and kissed him back while tilting his head to make it deeper.

The two of them kept the kiss for a few seconds before pulling away. Jimin looked up at Jeongguk and suddenly snapped back into the reality of what he had just done. His face turned deep red. "I-Im sorry." He apologized while looking away from Jeongguk who still had his hands placed on the smaller's waist.

Jeongguk chuckled. "No need to apologize. I enjoyed that." Jeongguk softly told him and placed a finger underneath his chin. "I actually wanted to do it myself. I'm glad you were brave enough. I don't know why, but I feel connected to you and like I've known you for a while." Jeongguk made Jimin look at him.

Jeongguk was going to go in for another kiss until someone clapping interrupted him. Both boys looked over in the direction it was coming from.

"Look at you two. How cute. New lovebirds?" A male said with a smirk on his face. It seemed that Jimin knew that face all to well because he froze up the same way he did when going to get ice cream.

Jeongguk furrowed his eyebrows. "Prince Xiumin? What are you doing here?" Jeongguk asked curiously. He took notice to Jimin freezing as well.

Prince? This guy was a prince? Now Jimin was even more terrified. If he said anything about what this guy had done to him what would happen? Would anyone believe him? Would Jeongguk protect him like he said? Could Jeongguk protect him against another prince?

"Ah, I'm staying here for a little while on an exchange program. My parents thought it would be a great experience for me to study here for a semester. Your mother told me I would find you out here. I did not expect to see you cuddled up with another male though. A z rank too? At least he's attractive." Xiumin said. He did recognize Jimin. But even he knew Jimin wouldn't say anything since his title 'Prince' was now known.

Jeongguk gripped Jimin's waist lightly. "Respectfully, that is none of your business. What did you want to find me for?" Jeongguk asked.

"Ah, your mother said you would give me a tour of the school. Im so excited and couldn't wait to start it." Xiumin explained.

Jeongguk sighed silently cursing his mother for that. He really wanted to spend his time with Jimin today. But now he has to look after a prince. Even he wouldn't dare to defy his mother.

Jeongguk looked at Jimin who was still frozen there looking terrified. "Hey, calm down. I have to take Prince Xiumin on a tour now. But I will be back later and when I come back I want you to tell me what has you so scared." Jeongguk said then gave Jimin a kiss on the forehead.

Xiumin smiled as Jeongguk walked over to him. The two walked away chatting. But before they made it out Xiumin gave Jimin a sinister grin. Jimin saw it and had he face or a deer caught in headlights. He wasn't able to move until the two left the garden.

Jimin let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and dropped to the ground. He held his chest as he had a mini panic attacked. He couldn't believe the guy that had attacked him and turned him into a vampire was attending the same academy as him and he was a prince. This was what he meant by saying he was probably cursed.
