It's not everyday that Jungkook can't be without his bestie, his friend and that worry-some guy who is always looking out for him.

Since past few hours Jungkook's been playing a throw and catch game with the wall. He's lying on his bed, one hand resting behind his head while the other is busy bouncing the ball. It's pissing him off at this point.

With a grunt he sits upright, the ball being abandoned in some croner. His uniform still on. Hair all messy. It feels like he's so useless right now. He glances out at the window, notices the little drizzles sprinkling on his window. Clouds dark and silence occupying his room.

Jimin always came home with him, played few games or ate food or studied together. Now that he's got a girlfriend it's understandable that he will not always be there. Given the fact about Jungkook himself being the one to send them off to spend some time together.

He sighs, which might be the hundredth time he must've done that. His mom's been calling him to get downstairs for dinner but he's got no energy to even do such simple task. It feels like a freaking burden to eat by himself. It's like he got too much dependent on Jimin that it each moment feels empty without him.

Yeah, he agrees he's told Jimin he'll take care of himself but again he kind of wants to take it back? Doesn't feel so good about saying that to him. Regrets.

As per se, you only know the importance of the person once they leave is what hits Jungkook. Or maybe he's just overthinking and being dramatic.

Dragging his palms through on his face Jungkook brings his senses back to place. Tells himself to not too much depend on Jimin and that it's a very bad habit.

Determined for a change Jungkook gets off his bed and heads to the washroom, rests his hands on the table slab and looks at himself in the mirror. "Get yourself straight, Jungkook." He's talking to himself, eyes focused, determination rigid, "You've got the skills, the looks, and the brains. So quit the dependency drama and show who you are, hmmm." He's scolding himself, nodding at himself, and understanding his own point.

He takes off his shirt, throws it in the bin. Opens the tap and starts to rinse his face. Clear his head. It was no time to depress over little things, he was better than this pathetic acts. Obviously he is very much capable without Jimin being—

His mom announces that Jimin is here to see him instant that second. All his dignity and determination gets drained away in water as he wastes no minute to run downstairs to see Jimin. A big smile covering his face. Face still wet and his feet hurrying downstairs.

"Yah–be careful—" Jimin is surprised when Jungkook happily jumping in his arms. One, he's wet, two, he's half naked, three, he's hugging Jimin as if he missed him too much.

Its too much to handle for Jimin. His heart is drumming against his chest. Face burning. The package in his hand slips out of his fingers and drops down on the floor.

"Oh I missed you, manh." A bullet wound in his chest appears out of nowhere. Hell, he's never felt this way even when his girlfriend hugged him. He's collecting his thoughts. Putting some senses in this tingly feeling. His arm slowly about to drape around Jungkook until he pulls back with a very cheeky smile.

Jimin's awestruck at such sight.

Did his heart just skip a beat?

"You're finally here." Jungkook is smiling in relief, drops his hands down, happens to see Jimin in a coat and a closed umbrella and a package.

His eyes stare little longer on the package. He blinks up at Jimin. "Did you bring something for me?" He asks, about to lift the package until Jimin does it before him. Immediately hides it behind his back.

"Oh–no." He's flustered, eyes blinking few times, "Not now–like don't open it right—"

"—Aye, what's up." Jungkook is chuckling in evil, his feet slowly moving forward to snatch the package, eyes glinting with suspicion and dirty thoughts, "What did you bring huh? Is it something we should watch alone or–"

"Oh my god—w-what the hell—no." Jimin is so flustered as he is tripping back on every step Jungkook is taking towards him, a mischievous smile appearing on his face as he steps on.

"Nuhuh–" Jungkook teases, gets him against his door, and Jimin is completely trapped. Jungkook cages him. His wet bangs flickering a little drop on Jimin's face. It's now that Jimin notices that he's too close for his own good.

Shamelessly Jungkook smiles, "Can't run away now, can you?" Uses his one arm to cage him against him while uses the other to reach behind Jimin's hand.

Oh he's dying of the distance Jungkook's wiping between them while Jungkook reaches for the package behind Jimin's arm. He can count the number of lashes he's got kinda close. The face-wash fragrance hitting his nose.

Jimin's eyes shut, the smell of him hits him like a cozy evening by the fire, warm and inviting. His eyes flutter open and Jungkook has closed off the distance. His body is almost leaning against him. His hands now leaning down for the package.

He can't believe it. Never knew something like this would drive him entirely crazy. Oh, he's screwed.

Jimin's lips ever so subtly brushes against Jungkook's neck accidentally that he wonders of he even realizes. His strong arms holding him close telling him to bury himself in him and never letting go. God help him. There's something definitely wrong with him.

The minute Jungkook is about to reach he halts, realizes he's too close and he can almost feel Jimin's fastened breath against his neck. Panics.

Immediately Jungkook stumbles back. "Oh sorry–" he embarrassingly laughs thinking he pissed him with his body's weight, "I didn't know I was choking you under my body." He apologizes and Jimin can barely open his eyes. Got his knees weak. Cheeks pink hot. Oh, he's about to faint.

He slaps his eyes and drags himself down the door. Completely wasted.

"Hell–you good?" Jungkook worriedly comes to check on Jimin until Jimin stops him, hands him the package, eyes hidden under his bangs, "Do whatever you want, take it." He gives it away to Jungkook as confused Jungkook accepts it hesitantly, "Oh, thanks."

Jimin hardly gets up, breathes hard, doesn't meet eyes with him, "I'm heading off–see you later." He is about to turn away when Jungkook lets out a angry whine, "Yaaaah," Jimin can feel the desperation in his voice, "You just arrived, why leave." He points at the rain outside, "Also, it's raining."

"I got the umbrella, I'm okay. Thanks." He just wants to leave but Jungkook becomes a very needy man. He's never acted this way, why he does Jimin like this. Why. Why.

"Stay Jimin." Jungkook breathes and it makes Jimin make an eye contact with him. "Can you wait until the rain stops?" He shrugs, "Besides, I haven't eaten yet, we can have food together."

Jimin doesn't respond.

"Please?"

His heart flips.

"Alright." And he finally listens.

"Oh my god," Jungkook unboxes the items from the package, his eye glowing and widening each second, "Jimin." He pauses, his eyes dropping on Jimin's face, "What does this mean..."

He's holding out a green invitation card tied with a saturn ribbon. A golden italic written in the middle. His name mentioned along Jimin at the corner. He's in disbelief.

With an assured smile Jimin encourages him to open it, "It is what you think it is." And Jungkook can't seem to put his finger on it. Oh he's already on the 7th sky.

"Rue's Gallery's invitation? Is this a joke?" He's unwrapping the ribbon with his fingers slightly stammering. The card softly opens by itself revealing the inner contents of invitation to her gallery.

"H-how did you get this?" Jungkook's gaping, checks the card upside down and can't come to terms with the fact that he was formally invited to the world's most famous photography festival, hosted specifically by Rue who's inspiration to hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

Grinning, Jimin shrugs, "You don't have to know." He crosses his arms, "Just focus that you're invited."

If Jimin wasn't wrong he could see Jungkook's eyes glistening glossy. Oh maybe he was about to cry.

It surprises Jimin. He sits upright. "Hey–" and Jungkook doesn't let him complete. Stands up as the chair screeches behind. Walks straight to Jimin who's blinking simultaneously confused by Jungkook's behaviour.

"Is everything alr—" and Jungkook suddenly hugs him.

Jimin is again surprised.

"Jungkook—"

"You have no idea how much this means to me." He's shaking and Jimin softens. Lets out a sigh of relief as he wraps his arms around him too. "I'm sorry for dipping on you on the streets."

Jungkook chokes out a laugh, wipes his glistening tears, "Next time you leave, I'm coming for your life." He separates from the hug and Jimin is embarrassed as scratches his nape unable to lock eyes with Jungkook, "Promise, won't."

And there's a big smile appearing on Jungkook's face. He brushes Jimin's hair and taps his cheek, "Good," he checks the clock, "Let's go your home together, it's late."

Glancing up at the clock Jimin realizes it's actually late. He picks his bag up, "Oh, shit." His face pales, "I didn't realize it was past 8."

The smile on Jungkook's face slowly erases, "Hey," he tries to approach Jimin who's hurrying up wearing his shoes, "I gotta make it home, can't be late." He is having frown lines on his face and it only worries Jungkook.

He reaches for him, "Will you be alright?" He asks, "Did you miss something important or—"

"You don't have to worry, It's okay." Jimin departs immediately through the door a smile just like that. In few seconds leaving Jungkook staring at the door slowly closing behind him.

Oh he wishes it didn't involve his family, if it did he can't guarantee Jimin's safety and it only scares him.
