Part 2

The group was huddled in a crumbling gas station, arguing over their next steps.

“We need spark plugs,” Abraham said firmly, standing with his hands on his hips. “Without ’em, that truck out there’s just a big metal paperweight.”

“And we need antibiotics for Carl,” Rick added, his tone heavy with concern. “He’s burning up.”

Daryl paced by the door, his crossbow slung over his shoulder. “Not to mention we’re down to two arrows, and I ain’t exactly plannin’ on chuckin’ rocks at walkers.”

“Okay, so let’s recap,” Glenn said sarcastically, throwing his arms up. “We need spark plugs, antibiotics, and arrows. Anything else? Maybe a million bucks?”

“Chocolate,” Rosita muttered under her breath, earning a half-hearted chuckle from Tara.

Jihyo, who had been sitting cross-legged on the floor, perked up at the mention of their needs. She clapped her hands together. “Oh! I might be able to help!”

Everyone froze, slowly turning toward her.

“Jihyo,” Rick said cautiously, “this isn’t like finding water or bandages. We’re talking about spark plugs. For a specific truck.”

Jihyo tilted her head, smiling innocently. “I know! Let me check.”

With that, she swung her backpack around and began rummaging. The group watched in disbelief as her arm disappeared deeper into the seemingly bottomless bag.

“Let’s see… not this… oh! Here!” She pulled out a set of brand-new spark plugs and held them up like a prize. “Will these work?”

Abraham’s jaw dropped. “You—you’re kiddin’ me.”

“Where the hell did you get spark plugs?” Rosita demanded, stepping closer to inspect them.

“Oh, I found them a while ago. Thought they might come in handy someday!”

“Of course you did,” Daryl muttered, shaking his head.

“Okay,” Rick said, still processing, “but antibiotics? That’s not exactly something you just find lying around.”

Jihyo’s eyes lit up. “Oh! I have those too!”

“What?!” several voices exclaimed at once.

She reached back into her bag, humming softly, and pulled out a small box of medical supplies. “I found these at an abandoned clinic a few weeks ago. I wasn’t sure what they were for, but they looked important, so I kept them.”

Rick snatched the box and inspected it. “This is exactly what we need.” He looked up at her, stunned. “Jihyo… how?”

She shrugged, still smiling. “Just lucky, I guess!”

Glenn was staring at her like she was a magician. “Okay, fine. But arrows? You’re not gonna pull arrows out of there, are you?”

Jihyo blinked at him. “Oh, I don’t have arrows.”

“See? She’s not magic,” Glenn said with a relieved sigh.

“But I do have this!” Jihyo reached into her bag again and pulled out a compact bowstring replacement kit. “Maybe you can make more with this?”

Daryl walked over, slowly taking the kit from her hands. “You’ve gotta be messin’ with us.”

“Nope!” Jihyo said cheerfully.

As the group stood there, trying to wrap their heads around the impossibility of it all, Rosita crossed her arms. “Okay, fine. What if we asked for something crazy? Like… a generator?”

Jihyo looked thoughtful, then nodded. “Oh! I don’t have a full generator, but…” She rummaged again and pulled out a small portable power bank. “Will this help?”

The group stared at her in silence.

“This ain’t normal,” Daryl finally muttered, rubbing the back of his neck.

Rick shook his head, laughing in disbelief. “You’re a miracle worker, Jihyo.”

“More like a walking treasure chest,” Glenn added.

Jihyo just smiled, oblivious to their amazement. “I just like being prepared! You never know what you might need.”

As the group gathered their newfound supplies, Abraham chuckled and muttered under his breath, “Next time we need somethin’, I’m askin’ her first.”
