"Sometimes there is a 'HELP ME PLEASE' chained to the ankle of 'I'M DOING VERY WELL'..........."
"Have you stolen any of Shaurya Bhai's belongings Miru?...."
Sameeksha asked this raising her eyebrows briefly while keeping aside the empty green peapod despondently. Manjiri who too was busy peeling the peas raised her head and threw a baffled expression stating,
"What???....
No, I haven't!"
"Oh I see!
Then certainly you're ruling over his mind...."
Sameeksha declared before she burst into a fit of laughter. Hearing her Manjiri nervously looked around the dining table area,
"Keep your voice low Sam....
And what nonsense you're saying?"
Sameeksha stifled her laugh at the stern tone of the girl sitting near her. Shifting her chair a little close to Manjiri's she said
"Well I'm only guessing the reason why your better half is looking over here or can say looking at you time and again..."
Manjiri found Sameeksha looking at the drawing room's area over her shoulder. She tensed a little and fought the urge to turn around and look there too.
"Is he really looking this way?"
She asked and Sameeksha smiled saying
"Yup! What will I get by lying to you Miru?"
"God why?"
Manjiri groaned murmuring this in a low whisper to her own self. Sameeksha chuckled softly uttering
"I can feel for you my girl and at present to be honest this is a great show for me...
By the way I'm very much familiar with these symptoms, so if you want any free medical advice then my gates are open for you 24/7."
"What symptoms?...
There's nothing as such, please stop it Sam."
Manjiri more or less bawled out and right away tried to fabricate her fib a bit restlessly. Well she would certainly admit that past one week has been quite enthralling for her due to her own several thought provoking new-born sentiments. Though those days were too filled with unmeasurable anxiety and undying endless yearning conceptualizations.
"I don't get it why are you doing this Miru... what going on in your head? I've been observing you ever since I came here in the morning."
"Nothing really Sam!
All well..."
"So now you'll lie to me.... Ok go I won't talk to you.
I very well know that you still don't consider me your's..."
Making a fake sulking face and performing an emotional drama, Sameeksha turned her face away. Eying her this act Manjiri tried to please her by muttering
"What are you saying Sam, you really hold a special place in my life.... I swear!"
"Oh I'm so touched....
Now tell what's going on in your this silly mind."
Sameeksha smiled demanding again. Feeling a bit hesitant, Manjiri finally opened her mouth uttering
"To be honest I myself don't know.
It's just that there are numerous 'what ifs' roaming all around in my mind...."
"Regarding Shaurya Bhai... Right?"
Confirming Sameeksha with a concise nod, Manjiri took a deep sigh in her heart.
"Your what ifs are nothing but the outcome of your own those unnecessary fears which are overbearingly ingrained in you....
Look my dear confused girl, likings are always constructed on or can say for inner happiness and peace. So the more you'll be contented, the more your heart will acknowledge those likings from within...... and yes it'll reflect the same outwards also."
Placing her palm over Manjiri's hand kindly, Sameeksha added
"See I'm not asking you to unwillingly start showcasing your fake feelings but you should at least stop fighting this sane reflective indulgence and maturing infatuation.... He yearns for you and supposedly you too yearn for him.... Correct if I'm saying something wrong but see it's that simple and clear. You both have this pristine inclination, so why fight it?"
Giving Sameeksha a somewhat knowing look, Manjiri let out her self doubt meekly
"But Sam I honestly feel that I don't deserve him and I guess I'm not worthy of his this inclination....."
"Oh Gosh! This means whatever I just spoke went in vain fully.....
Stupid girl it seems like your edition of 'LOVE' is certainly tainted by your this overanalysing mind filled with only and only misperceptions.
Miru by whatever correlation by which you considers me yours - be it as a friend, an elder sister or even if your soon to be 'Devrani' (sister-in-law), so by that entitlement I would make a demand to you to stop being so judging to your own poor self.
You know you're incomprehensibly lovable..... you just haven't understood that yet. Be grateful that you are here doing exactly what you fated here to do, live, learn and now being treasured."
Hearing this Manjiri simply expressed her genuine acknowledgement stating,
"I always wonder how you're so pragmatic and thoughtful....
Sam I cherish you and our this precious bond like nothing else. Truly!"
"Can always count on me...
But to be honest I'm suddenly feeling a little upset now after babbling out these concepts...."
"Why so?"
"Cause Dev hardly ever makes an effort to soften my heart. You'll be amazed to know that I was the one who first confessed the feelings in our relation.... He always fall short of words in my case only."
Sameeksha's these words made Manjiri to furrow her eyebrows while questioning a little astonished
"Really?
But Dev Bhaiya told me that he proposed you first..."
"He's such a false storyteller I tell you. You know that liar can proudly argue with me, mercilessly poke fun at me but when the question comes to express love in words, he at times certainly can give a nice competition to the shyest newly wedded bride ever.
He can nicely flirt but barely utter something romantic that can really make my heart swoon. I think I should once again ponder over the decision of marrying him or not, what say?
Miru I bet that his brain is this pea-sized...."
Denying Dev's lie completely, Sameeksha commented jokingly the last sentence while holding up the tiniest pea grain in between her thumb and index finger. At this Manjiri couldn't help but giggle with her too.
"But I've seen Dev Bhaiya many a times adjusting a lot of things just to be with you.... talk to you...."
"And guess what I too have seen and heard Shaurya Bhai doing the same....
For you!"
"More acceptance and less judgement is what the whole world needs........."

"No connection can ever be broken, if efforts hold tight at both ends........"
"It's still not connecting...."
Manjiri cried out downhearted still typing something on her phone's screen time after time fruitlessly with an exasperated expression. Getting disrupted by her continuous cries and complains Shaurya shook his head at her sudden unexpected fussy behaviour.
Soon she heard him getting off his desk chair. Walking up to her sitting self on the bed, he leaned down and peaked the device in her hands over her shoulder.
"I just told you the password, then also you're facing difficulty in connecting...
Heights of absurdity!
Ok now type again "DADIROCKS".... remember in capital letters with no space in between."
Sensing him so close, she tried to avoid that closeness and her responsive heart to no avail. But when he spoke, she felt his warm breath wash over her nape and uncovered part of her shoulder. She right away moved a little self consciously and placed her handset in front of him. She tried opening her mouth to answer him but from past few days, especially after that day, she slightly felt awkward to chat with him. Therefore each time she used to make a long psychological struggle in advance if she wanted to communicate anything to him.
She recalled Sameeksha's words but as Rome was not built in a day, so then how can she get herself changed so nimbly. Therefore without even turning back she timidly answered him
"For your kind information long before you told me, I already knew the password of the Wi-Fi of the house.
But much to my lucklessness I don't know why it's not connecting today only...."
"Hmm!
Then Ved Bhai or Dev must have changed the password..... No issues! Let's share my mobile's data via hotspot."
Typing out and failing, he added with a shrug and stood up. At then closing her phone, she turned around and stood up too with a great difficulty as she was feeling a little giddy from last half an hour. Facing and telling him
"No need, now I'm in no mood to finish my assignment. Will do it tomorrow with my own mobile data."
As soon as they came face to face, Shaurya noticed that Manjiri's spirit was not as lively as it normally used to be. She looked frail, her eyes heavy and exhausted. Eyeing her feeble self precisely he asked with his concerning eyes
"You appear off - coloured...
What's wrong?"
"Nothing! Just feeling a little fatigued promptly."
"Is this the reason by which you're taking a stroll clumsily?"
"Umm! Don't know.... Actually these aching muscles are making me limper... But it's......."
Cutting her sentence in the middle of her sentence. He suggested
"Wait! Let me fetch a pain relief tablet for you."
"No!
Please!
It's not that severe...."
Manjiri denied stiffly. Hearing her he didn't say a word. Feeling deflated he slyly nodded his head with an unsure expression glued on his face. He didn't probe any further and stepped aside giving her way.
After coming out of the washroom, Manjiri saw Shaurya assembling her books and other belongings from both the sides of the bed. Well it was a really unusual sight for her, cause he never does that. He either commands her to collect them or only cleans his side by slipping off all the things on her side proudly in an absolute impolite manner. She felt herself smile at the scene, walking back to the bed she took her belongings from his hands to put them back in the bag.
"Go to sleep, it'll make you feel better."
Shaurya said while switching off the big lights, causing the room to become a little darker. In that moment, Manjiri felt even more sleepy. Nodding her head she obediently climbed the bed and pulled her comforter over herself.
"Aren't you going to sleep now?"
Manjiri asked Shaurya who was about to settle down on his desk chair. To which he replied her plainly
"No!
Still got some work to complete."
All of a sudden the room completely got submerged in total reticence. And after that Manjiri fell asleep in a while.
"One of the greatest fulfilment in life comes when the people whom we care comes to realize and acknowledge our emotions and intents........."

"He very well knew that she is a brave fighter...........
But he still like to wrap his love around her like an armour."
Abruptly Adishri heard the sound of the room's door opening at one moment and after that the next moment, noise of Ved's footsteps reached her ears.
Well these days she used to feel hell sleepy nearly all the time and from last few days she was sleeping more than usual. She even used to experience tiredness even after doing some small works. Today also she slept as soon as she hit the bed.
After sensing Ved's presence in the room, she wanted to sit up but much to her haplessness she felt too lazy to move. After a few moments, she felt the one side of the bed being pushed down gently.
Ved extended his hand and pulled Adishri into his arms. Brushing her back he softly asked her
"What happened Shri?
Today also you slept so early..."
"I don't know.
This drowsiness is perhaps due to this rainy season."
Adishri simply murmured against his chest.
"Alright! Then sleep..."
Saying this Ved kissed her hair and didn't disturb her sleep any further. Changing in a comfortable position in his arms, a deep slumber engulfed Adishri wholly.
The next day she didn't wake up until late. She only woke up when she heard Ved calling out her name and uttering
"Shri wake up... you know for how long you have slept?"
She looked at the clock and realized the fact.
Suddenly Ved's next words immediately made Adishri to leave the bed then and there. Getting worried about her little sister, she cloaked her both shoulders with her cotton chunni and rushed towards her Miru's room right away.........
