"Julie, please stay and wait for Adam to return. He wasn't with that bitch willingly," Alex says pleading with Julie to not leave. It has been several hours since Julie had first seen the video clip and photos of her husband with that bitch. She had spent them with her children and packing.

It's killing her to leave them behind. She can't take them with her though. She is in no way able to take care of twenty very demanding children on her own. Even with ten staff members dedicated to the children and their needs it's still difficult to handle them all. It will be best for them to stay with their fathers and step mothers. Even if she doesn't like them all. Aaron and Alex certainly could have done better she thinks.

She shrugs, even if those two bitches won't take care of the children Michelle and Sarah will. Azlo found a lovely special one, even if she is a bit unconventional, but then so to is he. 

Sarah and Azlo had met at a gamers playoff. After the last game was played Azlo asked her out. After that date Azlo knew that she was his special one. She didn't even blink an eye when she found out about him being a vampire, or about his strange relationship with Julie.

She adores children and spends hours with them, when she isn't gaming she will be found in the nursery.

She longs to give Azlo children. She knows that Azlo is fine without more, but she longs for her own to hold and spoil. All the love she has goes to all the other children. They found out that she can't have any herself.

Julie wishes that there was something that she could do to make it so that she could.

Julie has also made sure that she doesn't get pregnant again. Michelle has already put up with enough pain, she doesn't want to cause her more. 

Michelle found out two years earlier that she doesn't have a chance of ever becoming pregnant, she doesn't have any eggs to be fertilized.

That day Julie felt guiltier than ever.

Michelle loves the children, all of them, as if they are her own. The children all consider her their second mother.

Michelle will make sure that they are loved, no matter what their father's do.

"Julie, you should let him tell you what happened. Remember what happened last time you didn't talk to him before you left?" They all remember her kidnapping. Michelle was kept from the worst of it, but she was told that Julie nearly died more than once because of it.

Julie stops and her shoulders slump. "I know, Michelle, but I'm hurting so much right now I'm afraid of what I'll say if I see him before I have a chance to calm down."

Just then her in laws show up. Mary Ann and Andres come in and spot the luggage in the hall. Mary Ann moves over so that Andres can come in and the door be shut. She raises an eyebrow, "Did we come at a bad time?"

Julie is too busy fighting her tears to answer. "Some vampire bitch used a proscribed spell on Adam to make him cheat on Julie and it was caught on camera. He's on his way back with the bitch, but Julie doesn't want to see him." Alex tells them silently sighing a breath of relief.

"I see. Take her bags back to her room. Hers not the one she shares with Adam. Julie you are coming with me." Mary Ann orders and neither Alex nor Julie dare to fight with her on the orders. Alex smirks to himself, leave it to his mother to take charge of the volatile situation and deal with it.

Alex quickly goes to the luggage and starts taking it back to Julie's old room. He has a maid start unpacking. He has no doubt that his formidable mother will be able to talk Julie into staying at least long enough to listen to and hear what Adam has to say.

"I don't understand, Mary Ann. He cheated on me. Everyone keeps telling me that he can't, but I saw it myself. He was holding her and kissing her like he does me." Julie tells her and as she does so the water works begin.

Mary Ann holds her loving daughter in her arms. Ever since she lost her own daughter just after her birth more than two centuries before she had waited for her sons to find their special ones. When Adam brought Julie into their lives Mary Ann couldn't have been happier. She had immediately accepted and loved Julie as if she were her own. Seeing her in this pain now makes her own heart ache.

"I know what you saw, at least what you told me you saw. Alex mentioned a proscribed spell. Do you know what the proscribed spells are?" Mary Ann asks gently pulling the sobbing girl away from her so that she can see Julie's face.

"No, I didn't know that there are any." Julie is still learning new things about the supernatural world on a daily basis.

"There are five of them. The worst one is used for summoning demons. Should a witch be found doing that then even her own will hunt her down. Summoning demons mean that angels will descend and none of us want to mess with the angels. Perhaps they don't cause the chaos and destruction that demons do, but they are more likely to start witch hunts and vampire and wolf hunts.

"The second proscribed spell is a spell of control. The one that uses that spell controls the person that she or he uses it on, basically the person becomes a puppet. They lose all their self will. 

"That is the one used on Adam. Once she gave him that potion, he would have become her puppet. Even someone as strong willed as Adam wouldn't have been able to resist her commands at first. But even with that potion she wouldn't have been able to make Adam sleep with her. No command would be able to overcome the bond between special ones.

"Adam is also too strong willed for the potion to work for very long. The only thing the bitch would have done is cause a divorce between you and Adam, if she had succeeded in her plot. She didn't, at least not entirely. How much you let her win will be up to you Julie."

Julie sits there and thinks about every thing Mary Ann told her.

"How many proscribed spells are there altogether?" Julie asks softly.

"There are five, but the other three aren't nearly as important and are very unlikely to ever be brought up. Someone willing to make this potion, the one used on Adam, is a witch likely to try summoning a demon. I hope Adam gets the witch's name so that we can stop her before it's too late." There is no little fear evident in Mary Ann's voice as she says this and this causes Julie to look at her sharply.

Mary Ann sees this and shakily laughs, but there is no amusement in the sound. "I was a child when the last witch bitch summoned a demon. The destruction was incredible, they were able to blame the destruction on a volcano erupting, but in the end thousands were killed before the angels were able to contain and destroy it.

Julie looks at Mary Ann wide eyed, "Which volcano?"

"You know that Santorini wasn't always the way it is now. It once was much larger and quite prosperous, for those times at least."

"That was more than a thousand years ago." Julie says awe struck at the reminder of just how long some vampires can live. Mary Ann could pass for her sister age wise.

"Yes, I know, but some lessons one never forgets."
