"Aaron, we haven't had a lot of time to be together since your wife died. How are you doing and don't lie to me." Julie says as they stand in the garden looking at the stars.

"I'm relieved. Is that bad to feel that way? She's gone and out of my life forever and all I feel about it is relief and so the guilt comes and is eating me away." Aaron says his voice low but full of frustration and pain.

"She was a cold hearted bitch, Aaron. Honestly I never could understand how you could be with her." Julie says holding him tight.

"I needed a way to help distance myself from you. I could tell that Adam needed more time with you..." Aaron trails off as he soaks in her love. He's missed being able to be like this without having to deal with his wife.

"So what you went out and married the first female that was the opposite of me?" Julie asks half horrified and half amused with a dash anger just to make it fun.

Aaron leans down and kisses her. "I have never been jealous of Adam, until you came to his notice. From the moment he talked about you I knew who you were to him and I knew or at least guessed who you would likely be to me."

"What's that Aaron?" Julie asks confused.

"Adam's special one and I suspected mine as well." Aaron gives her another kiss then picks her up and carries her to his room.

Aaron makes sure that she is sufficiently occupied that she forgets all about the conversation until much later. Once she is sure that Aaron is still awake, "Aaron, what did you mean about me being your special one before even meeting me?"

Aaron props himself up on his arm and takes a lock of her hair and plays with it before he answers. "I mean, from the moment he told me that you resisted his command I knew you were special and I had to meet you. You already had Adam intrigued. When you told us off that night I wanted nothing more than to take you home and do what we just spent time doing.

"Watching Adam clean your poor broken skin and knowing that he has prior claim to you was driving me crazy. The only hope I had was the rule about him sharing. The very rule that has been changed because of you. 

"I'm just glad that it was in place before you came to live here. Or I would know what true hell is. To see you and want to be with you and never be able to touch you like this. To never have you be mother to my children.

"You are my special one even without the binding caused by our marking you." Aaron gently takes his finger and runs it over where he bit her to mark her all those years ago. He's never regretted doing it either.

"I could never ask for a better mother for my children."

"Ah, Aaron if what you said is true then you should have used protection." Julie hadn't even thought of it or thought it was necessary. She thought that only Adam would be able to get her pregnant.

Aaron stills then moves his hand down to check. He looks up at her with pain. "Shit, I'm sorry, Jules. After last time I know you didn't want-"

"I do want more children. I was just telling Adam that at the birthday party for the kids. It's just that with Michelle and Sarah unable to have children I don't want to make them feel bad."

"I can abort the child now," Aaron offers. He doesn't want to cause her pain. He offers but knows that she won't take him up on the offer. Julie doesn't believe in abortions.

Julie shakes her head, "No. Shit, what am I going to tell everyone?"

Aaron gets a little sick looking. "Adam's going to kill me."

"You are underestimating your brother, Aaron. I'm willing to bet Adam already suspected that I am your special one. I think that's why he had me stay with you last night."

Aaron looks at her confusion clear on his face. "I don't understand."

"He never understood why you married Sophia. Then one night when we were talking he exclaimed 'That's why he did it. Idiot.' But he refused to tell me what he meant by that statement. I'm willing to bet that's what he meant."

"He's never said anything to me," Aaron says thoughtfully.

Julie sniffs, "Of course not. He knows what you are doing and although he thinks you're an idiot he does appreciate the effort. When he comes back you need to talk to him about it."

"Julie-" Julie stops Aaron and bites him. She needs to eat and doesn't want to talk anymore at least not about that. She'll let Adam and Aaron talk and then she'll tell them what they are going to do. They might not like it, but oh, well.

Julie is in the kitchen eating the breakfast the cook has fixed her when Alex comes up behind her and kisses her.

Julie turns around and gives him a smile. "Good morning, love. Sleep well?"

Alex shrugs and continues kissing her. "It was alright, I suppose." Then goes back to kissing her.

Julie finishes her food then turns her attention to Alex, speaking silently 'We need to talk.'

'Aaron already told all of us that are here. He seems to be having trouble getting hold of Adam though.' Alex tells her even as he leads her out of the kitchen.

"Adam, are you going to be much longer?" Aaron says in exasperation. He's spent hours trying to get a hold of Adam. He was blocking his mind link and not answering his phone. Finally in desperation he had Julie call on him on his dedicated phone.

"Why are you using Jewel's phone? Did something happen to her?" Adam says in a rapid clipped voice, but Aaron could detect a touch of panic as well.

"Julie is fine. I've been trying to get you for hours. There is a problem and it does have a time limit for it to be dealt with."

Now Adam is irritated. He doesn't like having his play time interrupted. "Can't you deal with it? Julie is always telling me to let you handle more of the problems that arise."

"It involves, Julie." Aaron says and immediately has Adam's full attention.

"Explain, now."

"You have to come home. Julie's pregnant." Aaron couldn't have said anything else that would grab Adam's attention so fully. "She's going to need you to be with her soon."

"You got her pregnant?" Adam manages to control his voice so completely that Aaron can't tell what Adam is thinking.

"Yes. If I had thought it was possible without you getting her pregnant first I would have been more careful."

Adam is already moving away from the cell where Judy is now hanging from chains from the ceiling. "You've been with her multiple times over the years without protection. You had no way of knowing that you could get her pregnant first."

Aaron lets out the breath he'd been holding. He'd been afraid that Adam would be angry. "She's worried that you'll be angry."

That stops Adam. "You are her special one just as much as I am. Why would I be angry about that?"

"Adam, I know how hard it's been for you..."

"It's been even harder for you. Hell you even married a bitch to help you deal with it. I was about to do us all a favor and kill her anyway. How you made it eight years with her is beyond me." Adam says even as he's cleaning up, preparing to head home.

Aaron is now sitting on his bed. "You knew?"

"Only recently, I just couldn't figure out why you'd be with Sophia. Then it hit me. I'm sorry, if I was quicker then we could have gotten rid of her much sooner."

Aaron gets a suspicious look on his face, "You didn't have anything to do with her's and Callie's deaths did you?"

Now Adam gets an outraged look on his face. "Hell no! If I had dealt with them there wouldn't have been any collateral damage. That stupid drunk driver dealt a lot of damage that night, but did us a huge favor. I know Alex thinks that way."

Adam leaves the building that has the cells and starts running home. The call already disconnected. Thoughts of Julie crowding his mind.

Aaron sits on his bed and just holds his phone. He truly hadn't expected things to go that well with Adam.
