Jessie, James, and Bert were sitting inside of Bert's room at Team Rocket headquarters hanging out after finishing the day of training with Sergeant Viper. James and Bert were currently talking and getting to know each other. While Jessie was listening intently to Bert talk about his favorite type of Pokemon which were electric types.

Jessie was about to ask him why was that when her nose started to twitch and her nostrils flared up. She sniffed quietly a few times and underneath her nostrils trying to soothe the itch in her nose, but it wasn't doing anything to help. She was going to sneeze.

"Ah...Haaaaah..." Jessie inhaled twice as she tilted her head back. Her nostrils continued to twitch and flared as she prepared to sneeze as she began to bring her elbow up to her nose."HaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH..."

James and Bert who were sitting across from Jessie on the bed heard her pre-sneeze inhales and turned to look at her. At that exact moment, Jessie tilted her head completely back as he could and gave one more final inhale as her nostrils flared several times their size."HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH..."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

Jessie shot her neck forward over as she released a long and loud sneeze into her elbow a large amount of mucus shot of her mouth nostrils and onto the red sleeve of her training uniform she had on. Bert and James cringed hearing the sneeze.

After a few seconds later Jessie recovered and sniffed and rubbed her nose on her sleeve.

"Wow. Bless you, Jessie," Bert said.

"Thank you," Jessie responded as she rubbed her nose still. "Sorry about that."

"That sounded quite nasty and wet," James stated, looking at Jessie, surprised."You could have tried to stop it by holding it back."

"Hold it back?" Jessie asked. "Well, I guess I could if I was good at holding back a sneeze."

"Seriously you don't know how to hold back a sneeze? Your kidding right?" James asked surprised.

"I don't think she is joking James," Bert said."Holding in a sneeze is hard I tried it before and besides, it is not healthy for you,' He explained.

"Really?" James asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Aaah..." Jessie's breathed hitched as she tilted her neck back. She once again brought her arm up to her mouth."Aaaaaahh...I think gonna...Aaaaaaahhh...sneeze again..."

While watching Jessie getting ready to release another sneeze, James smiled as he reached in his pocket to pull out a white feather reached up at Jessie's face, and wiggled the feather against the left side of her nose ticking it.

Bert looked at James like he was crazy. "James stop don't do that!"

He was too late, to stop James. The tickle from the soft feather was too much for Jessie's around itchy nose to handle, and did nothing but made her urge to sneeze increase. James removed the feather from Jessie's nose, just as she tilted her neck far back as possible before she exploded with a larger and louder sneeze than the one she released earlier. She immediately turned away from Bert and James not wanting to risk the possibility of not being able to completely cover her sneeze that was about to be released.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

Jessie shot her head forward as she released a massive sneeze causing the bed to shake underneath her, James, and Bert. A good amount of mucus began running down her nose.

The moment she recovered she rubbed her nose with her forefinger and sniffed multiple times. She then looked at James annoyed at him for increasing her urge to sneeze and so did Bert. However, James slightly chuckled at her sneeze.

"James why would you do that?!" Bert asked annoyed at his actions.

"I just helping her sneeze it looked like it was stuck," James said.

"You could have asked me if I needed help getting my sneeze out first before you went and tickled my nose," Jessie said as she continued to rub her nose.

"My bad Jessie," James with a smirk on his face."Maybe you aren't a match for a sneeze after all," He stated.

"I already told you that," Jessie sighed.

After a few minutes, James suddenly had a fun idea on how to continue spending time with his two partners minus Meowth. He sent Jessie a mischievous smile which made Jessie raise an eyebrow.

"Hey, Jessie how would you like to play a fun challenge I came up with to spend the rest of our time together?" James asked.

"I guess so but what kind of challenge is it?" Jessie asked wondering what James was up to.

"It's something I like to call the Holdback Challenge," James replied.

Jesse's eye widened after hearing the name of the challenge. She immediately understood what he was talking about, holding back sneezes. Jessie didn't know how to respond. She didn't think doing the challenge was a good idea, but she didn't want to be considered a coward for not trying, and she didn't have an excuse for why she couldn't play.

"How does the challenged work?" Jessie asked, chewing her lip nervously.

"It's easy. I will try to get you to sneeze, and you have to try not to sneeze," James explained. "Normally, I would use what I have that can make you sneeze, but for now, I will use this feather to tickle your nose. Since it all, I have at the moment. And if you manage to stop your sneeze without releasing it, you win, and I have do wanted you to want, but if I win, you have to do whatever I want you to do."

Jessie didn't like where this was going. Her nose was quite ticklish and sensitive, and she had never been able to hold back a sneeze before. No matter how tiny of a sneeze it was.

"So, are you going to accept the challenge?" James asked. "Are you too scared to do it?"

'If I say yes, I lose, but if I say no, he never let me live in down being too scared to try.' Jessie thought nervously.

"Fine, I accept," Jessie said. "But whatever you do, please be easy on my nose. It is very ticklish."

"Okay, this is going to be fun."

"James, I don't think this is a good idea," Bert said with a sigh.

"She agreed, so we're doing it," James said as he raised the feather for Jessie to see it.

Jessie was feeling nervous about this, but she couldn't turn back now. She had to do try not to sneeze, even if she wasn't good at it. James raised the feather to the base of Jessie's nose and began to stroke it.

At first, Jessie's reaction was a fit of giggles from the tickle sensation. "He, hee, hehehehehe! That tickles! Hehehehehehe!"

"It does?" James asked, continuing to tickle Jessie's nose and teasing her."Good because it's about to tickle even more."

Jessie continued to giggle for a few seconds, rather than urge to sneeze. Her nose was feeling quite ticklish, but not in a sneeze-related way. After a few seconds of tickling had gone by. James decided to move the feather closer to the end of her nose to see if that would be enough to make Jessie need to sneeze.

Unfortunately for James, Jessie's reaction didn't change, aside from more giggles. Her nose twitched slightly, but besides that, it didn't seem like a sneeze was on the way yet.

"Heeheehehehehehe!"

"How much longer will this take?" James asked himself.

Getting bored of tickling the outside of Jessie's nose, James slipped the feather slightly inside of one of Jessie's nostrils. In response, her nose began to twitch and flare up the one with the feather flared up slightly more. She brought a finger up to her nose and began to it rub it trying to settle the tickle in her nose.

"Aah..." Jessie inhaled as her breath began to hitch and continued to rub her nose, trying to tickle in her nose to go away. "Aaaah...haaah..."

James smirked as he kept the feather in her nostril, only to begin to wiggle the feather around slowly. He teased her by using baby talk for tickling."Goochie, goochie goo.."

Jessie internally cringed as she felt the soft bristles from the feather stroke the wall of her nostril. It tickled a lot, but she continued to rub her nose, hoping to soothe the growing tickle sensation of the feather. Instead, she felt the need to sneeze.

"Heh...Haaah..." Jessie inhaled some more as she continued to rub her nose with her forefinger."Ehh-haaaahhh..."

"What's the matter, Jessie? Are you going to sneeze?" James taunted her as he continued to tickle her nostril.

"Heeeh...aaaahhh...n...Aaaaahh...no," Jessie managed to say as her nose continued to tickle as she was now rubbing her nose with the heel of her palm as her nose continued to twitch and her nostrils flared up.

"Haaaahhh...aaaaaaAAAHH..." Jessie's breath continued to hitch as the urge to sneeze grew stronger. Her palm remained desperately rubbing her reddening nose as she fought the urge to sneeze. If she sneezes even once, she will lose the challenge.

"James, maybe you should just let her sneeze," Bert suggested, concerned for Jessie, who looked like she was struggling.

"Nope, she accepted the challenge," James said."She will sneeze, I will make her release it, and I'm going to win."

"J-James...Haaaahhh...I-I'm...aaaaaahhhh..." Jessie's breath continued to hitch as she tried to speak."Not...aaaaaAAAHHH...lo...Haaahhh...lose." Jessie managed to get out barely.

"Oh, yeah?" James asked as he continued to tickle her poor twitching and flaring nostrils. As it flared up twice its size as she continued to rub it with the heel of her palm.

"A-Alright...Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh..." Jessie started losing control of holding her sneeze."I..Heeeehhhh...I r-Aaaaahhhh...reallyyyy.." Jessie struggled to talk as her breath continued to hitch."ne...Aaaaaahhhh...neeeeeeeed to..sn...Haaaaaaahhh...sneeeeeeEEEEEEEZE...!"

What that? You want to lose the Holdback Challenge?" James responded as he continued to tickle her nose.

"I.Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh...I...Heeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhh...don't...care...AaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAH...about...AAAAAAHHH...it..ANYMORE..." Jessie said as her breath continued to hitch."PleasEEEEEASE...HaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH...!"

Jessie then finally moved the heel of her palm away from her nose and began to fan a hand in front of her face. Her nose was completely red as it twitched madly and flared up and quivered like ready to erupt like a volcano. She couldn't hold back the sneeze anymore; she absolutely needed to sneeze. Her eyes were tearing up as her nose twitch and quivered uncontrollably.

James looked on in amusement at first but realized what would happen and pulled the feather right out of Jessie's nostril. Bert looked at Jessie with concern and covered his ears. He had a feeling this sneeze was going to be a large one.

"HaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH..." Jessie brought her hands up to her mouth and nose as she tilted her head back and turned away from James and Bert, preparing to release a was probably going to a tremendous sneeze that might be impossible to keep fully covered."AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...!"

Jessie shot her head forward as she released a tremendous sneeze making the ground shake underneath her for a few seconds; a massive amount of mucus sprayed out of her nostrils and mouth and onto her hands; Jessie didn't have time to recover before she tilted her head back and gave another inhale before she released another sneeze.

Jessie shot her head forward once again as she released another tremendous sneeze making the ground shake underneath her for a few seconds, once again spraying even more mucus on her hands. However, Jessie still wasn't done as she once again tilted her head back, another sneeze on the way.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...!...

Jessie shot her head forward five more times. She released five more massive sneezes shaking the ground underneath her with every sneeze, and a immeasurable amount of mucus shot from her nose and sprayed on her already  mucus-covered hands that barely were able to cover those last couple of sneezes. James and Bert cringed and stared at Jessie, utterly shocked by the massive sneezes she had just released in her brief fit of sneezes.

Once she finally recovered from her fit of massive sneezes. She sniffed and kept her hands ultimately against her red and sore nose that was running with mucus since she didn't have any tissue to blow her running and sore nose. Are wipe her nose at the moment.

"Oh my! Bless you, Jessie," Bert said, shocked as he headed her a box of opened tissue from his nightstand.

"Goodness, I gotta say that was quite a fit of Sneezes. Gesundheit Jessie," James said as he put the feather in his pocket again.

Jessie grabbed some of the tissues and wiped her hands clean after she blew her nose before responding to the blessing.

"Thank you," She said politely as she rubbed her sore red nose with her forefinger.

"Sorry about that, Jessie," James apologized sincerely."You really can't hold back a sneeze, can you?"

"No, I can't. I just can't they tickle too much to fight, and when I do, it turns into a massive loud fit of sneezes," Jessie sniffed before blowing her nose again. "Ugh. I don't feel so good now..."

"I can tell you don't," Bert said, looking at Jessie with concern."You going to be okay?"

"Yeah, I will be eventually," Jessie reassure him."When I sneeze too much are, hard. It makes me feel the sick and light head, but it eventually goes away after a good amount of rest."

That good," Bert said in relief.

"Well, James looks like you won the Holdback Challenge. Are you happy about that?" Jessie asked.

"Well, a little, but I feel bad," James admitted."Because man, that was quite a set of massive and painful messy sneezes. Not something we should do ever again."

Bert and Jessie looked at him in agreement, glad he understood, making Jessie hold back sneezes are a terrible idea.
