Jessa is pleased to see that the gathered armies are already there in place and ready to fight. The full blooded dragons are just waiting to fight the other full blooded that might escape the younger ones, but for now, they too are in their humanoid shapes.

Jessa goes before them all, "I want to thank you all for being here and willing to sacrifice everything so that some might survive. I want you all to know that the preparations that were made last night have been effective and more than a third of their army has already been taken out." Jessa believes that knowing that they won't be facing a mountainous amount of invaders will help them to fight more effectively. She allows the cheers to sound for a bit before calming them all down.

It doesn't take long for them to become silent once more. "I and the deities that are helping us are at this time blocking out all sight and sound, so they are seeing a location totally unprepared to fight them. This should help get them off center. Also, for some strange reason they've heard that I'll be here soon and are terrified of that possibility. I just don't understand that."

Those that are more than aware of her fighting prowess snicker at her words and find themselves standing more proud and less defeated. With the hero of the draw with them they can't lose. They might not survive personally, but Jessa will make sure that the enemy is defeated so that their families and friends will have a chance to live without fear once more.

Jessa's next words are said angrily and with a scowl, "I have discovered that it was this same enemy that sent out the call to gather at the draw nearly four years ago. It was the same enemy that caused those of us that worked as caravan guards to lose many that were friends and even family. For that there will be no mercy given to the traitorous bitch that has caused so much pain and death among so many.

"She is also the reason that the sun elf king became the twisted sick bastard that he died being, that Dennis and his brother became the sick abusers that they were. They are the cause of Roderick having the leash holders he had. He is the reason that King Sy's father was assassinated and Sy nearly tortured to death."

Everyone of the humans have been affected by one or more of those actions.

"She is the reason behind Reniel's death, my father, Rachel's death, my mother." With those words the gold dragons and the followers of Jethro as well as the moon elves are incensed.

"She is the reason behind the traitors among the gold dragons starting with Selnik." Further outrage from the gold dragons.

"She is responsible for the feeling of hatred the moon elves felt towards the humans by having the human army invade Silva over a century ago."

Even Dhiren hadn't known that and it shocks him. He feels that he should thank the mysterious enemy before Jessa kills her. Because it will come down to either Jessa killing the bitch or die trying. Dhiren has no doubt about that.

That bitch has been behind all the pain Jessa has experienced in her young life.

"Jessa, she is trying to penetrate the magical guards we've put up." Alaric tells her.

"Fight today for all those we've lost to her over the years, fight to avenge them and all they and we've lost.

"Including all the metallic dragons. She was behind the loss of your eggs."

At those words all the metallic dragons give outraged roars of anger.

Jessa dismisses them and they take up battle stations.

She has no doubt that the day will end with blood covering every one as well as the ground. Jessa lets fall the tears she's been holding back. So much has been taken from her by this bitch. She has gone against everything that gold dragons stand for and intentionally twisted people and things so that hurt and pain, anger and heartache would spread across all the lands.

"Jessa." Alaric comes up to her.

"If she comes for me, Alaric, I will fight her." Jessa says without looking at her grandfather.

"I know, I couldn't expect you to do less. Just don't let your emotions get in the way. You must stay in control of them if you are to have any chance against her."

Jessa chuckles without any humor, "She has taken everything from me. She has fulfilled what was necessary for me to save or destroy this world. Let's see if her efforts were sufficient for me to save it now."

Jessa says then moves off with Dhiren at her side. He knows that it's very likely that he'll lose her and wants to spend every moment he can with her. He'll be doing his best to stay by her side during the fight, but he has no illusions about that. Battle partners are more often separated by the fighting than they are able to stay together. He gets a grim look on his face as he pats the two swords at his side. Perhaps he'll be taken away from her during the fight but he'll make her proud before the battle is done.

Jessa's guard and Dhiren's shadow them. They have no illusions about this day either. They all pray to Zira and in Jasper's case to Fay that at the very least their families will be taken care of and that they will take as many of the enemy down with them as they can before they are taken down as well.

The mood is somber but determined. The light of the sun comes slowly to clear away the morning mist. Once the sun clears the tree tops the illusion that has protected them is broken and the enemy sees them and goes in for the attack.

The metallic dragons sound out their war cries and they are returned as their lost children come and rally to the fore to fight the chromatic dragons.

The defenders stand tensely waiting for the humans and humanoid dragon kin to come forward to be seen. They have chosen their location with care and as many of the dragon kin are finding out, there are many traps set around that have already taken out or badly damaged many of them.

Finally as the light shows all about them the defenders pick up their arms and great sheets of arrows are loosed as the enemy comes into sight.

Jessa has a wild look to her eyes and Dhiren is careful to stay out of the line of her fighting. He's not sure that she would recognize him as a friend and not an enemy at this time. Then there is no time to think just fight.

Slowly at first then louder the word is spread among the enemy. "It's Jessa, she's here." The sound of their terror helps make the defenders take heart and they fight all the harder. The enemy falls back temporarily but there is now more space around Jessa as none of the enemy wish to engage her.

Jessa doesn't allow them to leave the fight so easily and makes sure that she stays with them as much as she can.

Then silence falls and other battles stall as both defenders and the attackers have a great shadow fall over them.

The largest dragon most of them have ever seen comes flying over and bugles out her challenge.

"Come down here and fight you traitorous bitch!" Jessa yells back and her voice shakes the ground as it sounds forth. Dhiren has trouble keeping his footing as do many others and a good portion aren't able to catch themselves and find them falling on top of the dead and dying.

They try to regain their footing but find the ground slick and have trouble getting back up.

The defenders help their comrades as quickly as they can then work their way among the enemy and kill them before they are able to stand. Only once they are done with that grisly work do they stand warily dividing their attention to possible attacks from the enemy and the battle that is about to take place between the small human (most believe Jessa to be) and the giant ancient gold and black dragon. Not many believe that Jessa will stand a chance against that huge beast.

"I've never seen a dragon that color before," is heard whispered nearly silently among the combined armies of good.

The Ancient One stands off to the side and shakes his head sadly. His sister has changed much over the centuries and the bitterness has made itself known by the changing of her once shining gold scales to the now blackened ones.

Slowly all the deities come near to the Ancient One and watch the battle unfold. At this time Jessa will win this battle and save them all or she will fall and it will destroy them all.

"So this was the end of the prophecy," Zira says softly. She holds back her tears.

"The end is not as certain as you all believe." Fay tells them all more than a little waspishly. "Perhaps Jessa doesn't have the years but she does have greater experience fighting than most of the dragons fighting here. She has been well prepared by her life. I don't think any of us have truly seen her fight all out with the true intent to kill. We've seen her practice but she never wants to hurt Dhiren. She's out for blood now, it will be interesting to see just how she fares against someone so like her."

Her words bring scant comfort to any of her fellow deities. Shandira is the last to arrive and she too watches with interest the battle now taking place between the two dragons.

"Will there be punishment if Jessa kills that dragon?" Kaisten asks as he watches in awe as the two go at each other.

"My sister has so many death sentences hanging over her that there is nothing Jessa can do but kill her at this time. If she can." The Ancient One says and no one sees the tears that are falling.
