When the music transitioned from loud to quiet, everybody stood up clapping, including Jericho and Daisy. Walking down the runway was Alyssa, her brown curls pulled into a messy ponytail and a tight white dress hugging her model figure. With the microphone in her hand, she waited for the clapping to stop, before she winked at Lennox in the crowd and blew a kiss in her husbands direction.

"Thank you for attending my fifth fashion show and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Dinner will be served upstairs in twenty minutes. Everyone is happy to join and don't forget to grab your 200$ gift card at the booth near the exit."

Everyone clapped again, as Alyssa stepped off the runway with grace. The room filled with chatter as everyone began to bustle around, either going upstairs or leaving completely. Alyssa spotted her husband quickly, as he held their son on his arm, whilst standing next to Jericho and Daisy. Quickly greeted and congratulated by her family, she was introduced to Daisy.

"I'm Alyssa, Jericho's sister." Alyssa smiled with happiness, although her eyes portrayed something unreadable. "I'm glad you could come tonight."

Daisy smiled at Alyssa, a blush covering her cheeks. She glanced at Jericho, who smiled at her, silver eyes shining with happiness. Daisy wanted to congratulate Alyssa on her show, but didn't. She was extremely nervous, her hands clammy with sweat and her heart was hammering against her ribcage, that she feared she's stutter more than usual. Not only did she not want to stutter through a simple sentence, but she also didn't want to embarrass Jericho in front of his family.

"Can we go eat now?" Lennox pouted, resting his head on his father's broad shoulder.

"We're sitting at table seven." Alec informed, before adjusting Lennox on his arm and wrapping the other around Alyssa's waist. Alec's dark skin contrasted perfectly with Alyssa's creamy skin tone.

"Did you enjoy the show?" Jericho asked quietly, as he and Daisy followed behind the small family.

The show had been amazing. Outfits after outfits were presented by healthy beautiful models. Daisy wasn't exactly the fashion geek, but she didn't have to be one to admire the fashionable outfits. Everything looked very classy and highly expensive. And even though Daisy knew she could never afford or accept such expensive clothing items, she did still enjoy the hour long show.

Daisy nodded shyly, unconsciously pulling at her grey dress with nervous fingers. "Y-you're sister is v-very talented."

"She's always been into fashion." Jericho mentioned, as they climbed the stairs side by side. "When we were younger, she always tried making Cooper and I dress up."

"Is Cooper here t-tonight?"

Daisy watched as Jericho's face fell, a small frown on his pink lips. "No, he prefers to avoid all types of social events, although he probably watched the show on TV.

Daisy nodded her head in understanding. She never wanted to go to any social events and had always preferred her small TV over outings with large groups.

When they reached the large white dinner room, Jericho gently placed his hand on Daisy's lower back guiding them to their table. The room was so large, Daisy had never seen anything like it. Tables and tables were placed throughout the room, most of them already filled with guest, models or other celebrities that had come to see the show.

After reaching their table, Jericho pulled out Daisy's chair before sitting down himself. He introduced her to the other guest at their table, while secretly placing his hand over her wringing ones under the table.

"I'm Eli." A dark haired man introduced himself, a blonde model practically seated in his lap. "And I'm London, but you probably already know that."

Daisy wanted to cringe, but refrained from the rude action. London seemed too much like her own sister Lillian.

"Jasper, and this is my hubby Seth." The two young man smiled at Daisy, making her blush.

Conversation quickly picked up, and despite Jericho's effort, Daisy felt uncomfortable. This just wasn't her scene. The models and celebrities, the five star food, even their conversation topics were posh. Jericho and the others at the table blended in perfectly. This was a regularity for them. But Daisy just wanted to leave and go home, cuddle up in bed and pretend Jericho had taken her somewhere less high-class. Not only was the whole night very posh, but Daisy was lacking so much confident that she feared of speaking.

"Is something wrong? You've been silent all night." Jericho whispered in Daisy's ear, as two waiters came to clear the table.

Daisy didn't want to upset Jericho or disappoint him, so she forced a smile on her face and told Jericho she was fine. From her peripheral vision, she could see Jericho still watching her, obviously unconvinced.

Daisy was so uncomfortable, but she really didn't want to ruin the night for him.

"W-when's your n-next show?" Daisy squeaked, turning her attention to Alyssa, then mentally kicking herself when the fashion model didn't acknowledged her. It wasn't because Alyssa was ignoring her, Alyssa simply couldn't hear her over the loud conversations going on at the table.

Daisy quickly turned her attention back to the white table cloth. She begged her emotions not get the best of her. The last thing she needed was to start crying in front of a table of strangers.

"We're leaving." Jericho suddenly announced, standing from the table. "Thank you Ally, for the tickets and congratulations again."

Jericho helped Daisy, afterwards wrapping his arm around her and pulling her closer as they left the table. Daisy felt like she had embarrassed Jericho and ruined his night. She was happy that they were leaving, but her happiness was not worth Jericho's miserableness.

"Why a-are we leaving?" Daisy asked quietly, fumbling with the strap of her cross body purse.

"Obviously you weren't comfortable or even having fun, so why should we stay?" Jericho explained, leading them through the long hallway they had first entered through.

Daisy felt guilty. Yes, she wasn't having fun, but not everything was always about the girl when it came to dating. Relationships included having to make a compromise here and there.

"I'm s-sorry." Daisy replied, her heart pounding with uneasy nerves. "I, uh ... I'm just not used to ... this."

Jericho pulled her into his chest, as they stood before his expensive car. "It's fine. As long as you enjoyed the actual show, than I'm happy. I honestly didn't think the whole social crowd thing would affect you like this, but I'm glad that I know now. I mean now we can plan a more private surrounding for our next date, and in the future we could work on building up to big social events."

Jericho had his arms around Daisy, as she had her hands gently pressed against Jericho's chest, over his fast beating heart. Jericho leaned down, pressing his lips softly against Daisy's and she leaned even further into his embrace. This kiss was different. It wasn't hungry, or heated. It was soft and reassuring, almost calming.

Jericho leaned back, brushing his nose against Daisy's, their lips barely touching. "I'll drop you off at home."

Daisy shyly pressed her lips against Jericho's again. It was just a small kiss, but Jericho smiled at Daisy nonetheless.

Inside the car, Jericho held Daisy's hand, absentmindedly playing with her fingers. "Have you ever thought about seeing a therapist for your social anxiety?"

Daisy wasn't expecting it, and she didn't block his question like she initially wanted to. "I don't have that."

It was weird how they both knew she was lying, but neither commented to prove otherwise. Jericho simply kissed her temple, and then her cheek. Gently turning her head in his direction, he pecked her lips.
..

"I'll be on a business trip next week and the week after that will be really busy for me. I doubt I'll be able to stop by the restaurant, but I'll definitely call you if I do manage to get off early." Jericho explained, as they stood across the street from the restaurant.

"Okay." Daisy said softly, hands clutching the strap of her bag tightly. "C-could you ... can you call if you have time in between work?"

Those words seemed to put a grin on Jericho's face. "Of course. You can always call me too."

Daisy nodded, glancing at him from beneath her eyelashes, a shy smile on her face.

"You're making it even harder for me to leave when you keep on looking at me like that." Jericho chuckled, stuffing his hands in the front pockets of his jeans so he didn't grab Daisy and pin her to his car, kissing her senselessly.

Daisy was glad it was dark outside, because her face lit up like a Christmas tree. Catching Jericho of guard, she leaned up and kissed him on the cheek, before hurrying across the street.

In the inside of her bedroom, Daisy pulled off her flats, dropping onto her bed like a rag doll. Her phone blinked and she picked it up, a happy grin making it's way on her face.
