I silently opened the apartment door and walked inside. I was hoping he wouldn't be home. No such luck flew my way.

"Where have you been boy!" It was my father. He had a beer in his hand.

"I was at the pool..." I moved my eyes downward so I didn't piss him off anymore.

"Who's car was that!" He was still shouting.

"My friend Jason's..." His face turned red.

"Is he gay!?"

"N-no sir, he has a girlfriend and I'm planning on asking this one girl out..." His eyebrow raised.

"Well then, go do your homework." I nodded and made my way to my room, head still down."
