JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V

UNDER THE dark sky, Jungkook was seated on a chair constantly writing on a piece of paper. But then, after a few minutes, he would stare blankly at his work and tear it apart, tossing it to the side of his room where any light could barely be seen. He groaned as he tussled his hands in his long locks, feeling dissatisfied with himself.

Writing used to be easy for him, but these past few months, it was rather challenging. A lot of his readers have been noticing his lack of updates and the sudden change of his writing, which didn't help his current situation.

Feeling tired both mentally and physically, he decided to finally take a rest. Jungkook was initially gonna go straight to his bed, but when he saw the opened window and the stars twinkling above, he had the sudden urge to gaze at the night sky.

He sat cross-legged on the ground as he rested his arms on the window's body, letting the cold breeze send shivers throughout his skin, causing his body hair that was exposed to stand up. Though, he wasn't bothered by this. He just continued to gaze above. Then he was hit by a sudden flashback, "Son, you know... Some people believe that the people who die get reincarnated as stars."

A bitter chuckle left Jungkook's lips, "Really mom?"

He remembered asking his mom and he swore he remembered his eyes sparkling then.

"Mhmmm, so from now on, if you miss Dad just gaze at the stars and look for the biggest one."

Upon reminiscing his mother's words, Jungkook began to look for the biggest star there is in the sky, "Found you," He mumbled after a few minutes of searching. "Hey, Mom. I followed your orders. I actually thought as I grew older that what you said was total nonsense. But, if it means I get to talk to you... Then I might as well believe it, yeah?"

"I have been having a hard time writing these past few months. You not being here is taking a toll in my life." Jungkook added, not caring how ridiculous he looked. "Y-you told me that you wouldn't leave m-me... That you would be always by my s-side. But, you still left me, when you were all I h-had."
