Win's POV

I tried not to be too critical of Jungkook's looks. But I honestly believed that between his looks and mine, Bright would like mine better.

Anyway I was not all that interested in him. It was his companion whom Jungkook introduced as Yoongi to whom I felt an instant attraction.

There was something about him. He had a certain aura. And I could tell that he was also interested in me because he kept asking me a lot of questions about myself and I was more than happy to answer them to the best of my ability.

Even before we had finished our coffee and crepes Suzettes we had already exchanged contact numbers.

"Did you get to give Jungkook my message? And what took you so long to come back?" was Bright's sullen greeting the moment I stepped into the room.

"Are you feeling better now?" I shot back at him.

"Not really," he replied, rubbing the sides of his forehead gently.

"Did you take any pain pills?" I asked.

"Yes, but they don't seem to be working much," he replied. "You haven't answered my questions."

"Yes, I have given your message to Jungkook. He didn't look too happy about your no show," I informed him.

"What did he say?" Bright asked.

"Nothing," I replied. "He just nodded and then his companion invited him and me to have coffee and pastries."

"He had a companion with him???" Bright raised his voice and immediately placed his hands back to what must have been a painfully throbbing head.

Did I detect a slight jealousy towards Jungkook's companion there?

"He was not just a companion," I hastened to correct Bright's misconception. "He is a member of Jungkook's group. He is one of the two rappers of BTS. His name is Yoongi."

"You seem to know too much about this companion of Jungkook already," Bright remarked sullenly.

I wanted to say that I didn't think that I knew too much of Yoongi. In fact I wanted to know so much more than I already know.

By noontime, Bright said he felt a bit better but was not inclined to go out for some lunch. He did not want to have any sent up to our room either. In other words, he didn't have much of an appetite just then. He said he was still feeling woozy from the pain pills he had taken.

I was just about to step out to get myself some lunch with the intention of bringing some up to Bright in the hope that he would get a little bit of appetite by the time that I got back to our room, when my phone started to ring.

I looked at my phone screen. I swiped it immediately when I saw that it was Yoongi calling.

"Hey," I said, my heart beating faster than it should.

"Hi, Win, I know it's such short notice, but would you like to have lunch with me today?" he asked. He sounded short of breath. I wondered why.

"I was just about to step out to get me something to eat," I replied. "Of course I am more than happy to accept your invitation."

"You're probably tired of Thai food, but I really would like to sample your native dishes," I heard Yoongi saying. "I know of a Thai restaurant situated within a row of other small establishments near the Han River. Would you like to go there with me?"

"Sure," I said. "I don't know how to get there though."

"Stay where you are," he said. "I'll pick you up at the lobby of your hotel."

"How did you know at which hotel I'm staying?" I was surprised that he would know because I had not mentioned the name of the hotel to him during our cafe conversation.

"I asked Jungkook," he replied.

Oh yes, of course Jungkook would know. Jungkook, my rival for Bright's heart. Well, I guess it would be best that I try to get over my unrequited love for Bright by making new friends.

"I'll meet you at the lobby then," I told Yoongi.

"Be there in about ten minutes," he said.

"I'll be waiting there," I replied and swiped my phone screen.

In less than ten minutes, I saw Yoongi through the large glass double doors making his way up the wide stairs leading to the lobby. I didn't wait for him to have to go through the doors. I rushed up to meet him. Although he was heavily hooded, perhaps so as not to be recognized by any fans, I recognized his figure right away.

"It's not far from here," said Yoongi, referring to the Thai restaurant. "It's within walking distance."

"I got no problem with walking. It's good exercise," I said smiling at him.

He smiled back at me. I noticed for the first time how attractive he was. I especially liked how his eyes lit up whenever he smiled.

Once more, just like at the cafe, he pumped me with questions. He also asked a few questions about Bright.

I told him how I first met Bright when we had auditioned for our BL series 2Gether.

Yoongi's grew wide when I mentioned that it was a BL series, but his smile was even wider.

"You're very brave to go into such a genre," he remarked. "Is your country not strict about that?"

"Not at all," I replied. "In fact it's such a popular genre that so many other series of that sort have also been coming out. The series that Bright and I appeared in was not the first to come out. There were so many before that."

"I see," he said, looking full of thought. "That's really an interesting piece of information."

The Thai restaurant that he took me to was called Royal Siam. (A/N: Fictitious name. Author doesn't know if such a restaurant exists. If it does, it's pure coincidence.)

"I've passed by this restaurant so many times before but I had never been interested in trying Thai dishes until now," he informed me.

What was he trying to tell me? Was I being presumptuous? Dared I hope?

Yoongi's POV

I pulled opened the door of the restaurant and motioned for Win to go through it. Then I followed him inside.

I had known from our morning conversation that he and Bright were going to be here in Seoul for only a very short time.

I had to move fast. I had to fight my hesitations. I had to be brave and let him know over lunch that I wanted to be more than just his friend.
