Jungkook's POV
I could tell that Yoongi hyung was deeply disappointed by the sudden turn of events. Bright had barged into his room while he was cleaning up Win's bare chest. I could tell by his wide smile and his tongue sticking out, touching the side of his cheek that he was immensely enjoying the activity so the letdown caused by the interruption must have been deeply felt.
I myself had been looking forward to spending an exciting night with Bright but it looked like it wasn't going to happen because Bright seemed too intent on getting Win out of our dormitory and back to their hotel.
I probably would have moped inside my room after Bright and Win left if Taehyung had not suggested that we go up to the rooftop and do some stargazing. That was a brilliant idea. I had a lot of fun looking at the fascinating twinkling Milky Way. They made me forget my disappointment. Taehyung's presence was very comforting. I lay my head on his shoulder as I looked up at the sky.
When we started to feel cold and to get tired of stargazing, Taehyung took my hand and said, "We should have an early night so that we can get up early to practice our choreography for our song."
"Sure," I agreed. I was always excited to practice the dance moves of any and all of our songs. Music and dance were my passion.
I was on my way to our shared bathroom when I met Yoongi hyung in the hallway. He looked understandably dejected.
"Hey," I grabbed his arm. "It's not like you won't see him ever again. They're still gonna be here in Seoul until tomorrow and then after that they're flying to Jeju Island for a few days stay there."
"They're going to Jeju Island?" Yoongi asked excitedly, his face lighting up, all the sadness gone from his face.
I nodded my head for confirmation.
This time he was the one who grabbed my arm.
"Why don't we fly to Jeju Island ourselves and meet up with them there," he suggested excitedly.
"Actually when Bright mentioned it to me I had the same idea as yours," I told Yoongi. "My question is will our manager give us permission to dance... I mean permission to travel to Jeju Island and meet up with Bright and Win over there?"
"Only one way to find out," Yoongi said. "I will call him first thing in the morning. We have been working hard the last few weeks. I believe we deserve a break. Don't you think so?"
I nodded vigorously.
"Yes, we do need a break, hyung," I said. "Please let me know if you were successful in convincing him to let us have a brief vacation in Jeju Island."

When the other members of our group found out about my and Yoongi's plan, they all wanted to go with us to Jeju Island. No one wanted to be left behind and miss the fun.
In the end it was our leader Namjoon hyung who was able to convince our manager to allow us to spend a three day vacation in Jeju Island.
I excitedly packed my clothes and other personal stuff and toiletries into a suitcase the night before our departure.
I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand. I went through my contacts. I glanced at the time on the top of my screen. Then I tapped on a name and crossed my fingers wishing that he was still awake and would take my call.
"Hello... "
Oh no, his voice sounded sleepy. I must have waken him up.
I hoped hard that he wouldn't be grumpy with me.
I cleared my throat before speaking.
"Hyung ..."
"What? What did you just call me?"
Oh, oops, in my nervousness and excitement I had addressed him with a Korean honorific. But at least his voice sounded more alert.
"Sorry," I said, feeling very much embarrassed. "I called you hyung. It is a Korean honorific."
I heard him chuckle softly.
"Anyway why are you calling me at this time of the night?" he asked.
"I got the most exciting news to tell you!" I said, forgetting to apologize for calling him so late and waking him up in the middle of the night.
"Tell me," he said.
"Our group is flying to Jeju Island tomorrow! Same time as you and Win!" I couldn't hide the excitement in my voice.
There was a brief silence on the other end. And then ...
"Oh," was all he said.
I could not tell from the tone of his voice whether he was happy to hear it or not.
