Gin's POV

"Mummy wake up!" Amira shouts jumping on the bed.

"To early, go to sleep" I tell her.

"But the skies awake, so I'm wake up! Which means you should be wake up!" she shouts. Why must she be so hyper on a full moon?

"Okay, I'm up" I grumble as I sit up rubbing sleep from my eyes.

"Yeah!" she cheers. We got changed and headed downstairs to find Jenna alone with Jeremy. "Jer bear!" Amira shouts and runs over to her cousin giving him a big hug. "Play with me" she demands as Jenna gives me a coffee.

"What has her so hyper?" she asks me.

"Happens once a month, I blame the full moon" I say jokingly and she laughs.

"The full moon does bring out the crazy in some people" she chuckles.

"I'm taking her camping tonight, usually tires her out" I tell her.

"Ok, but be careful out there" she tells me.

"We'll be fine" I assure her. "Where's Elena?" I ask.

"With her boyfriend Stefan" she states. I choke on my coffee. "Whoa, you ok?" she asks me concerned patting my back.

"Stefan, as in Stefan Salvatore?" I ask her.

"Yes" she says.

"I don't think she should be around him" I tell her.

"Yeah, well it's not up to us" she tells me. "By the way, she knows about you know what" she adds.

"You mean the adoption?" I ask in a whisper. She nods her head.

"Turns out her biological mother is my would be boyfriend's dead wife. Still no idea who her father is, but Alaric is going to let her see some of his dead wife's research. So that she can learn more about her biological mother" she explains.

"That's nice of him" I state. "What do you mean would be?" I ask her curious.

"I like him and I think he likes me. We had a date, it's been a little start and stop. I want to date him, but I don't know if he wants to date me" she states.

"He'd be an idiot not too" I tell her. "Anyway I should go pack for Amira and I. Think you and Jeremy can watch her?" I ask.

"Of course" she says. I smiled and went upstairs to pack. I only packed one bag of clothes, grabbed my sleeping bag and swag tent. I get a message from Mason asking what I was doing tonight with Amira. I told him I was taking her camping. He wasn't happy and said she should be locked up with him. I ignored the jerk, no way was I locking up my daughter.

"Aunt Gin" Elena says.

"Hi Elena" I say as I zip up my bag.

"You going somewhere?" she asks me.

"Camping with Amira" I state and turn to see Stefan with her. "What's he doing here?" I demand.

"Oh right, you two haven't meet. Aunt Gin this is my boyfriend Stefan, Stefan my aunt Gin" Elena says.

"Pleasure" Stefan says holding a hand out to me.

"You're not welcome here, get out" I tell him.

"Aunt Gin!" Elena says shocked.

"I don't want him or his brother anywhere near my daughter Elena" I tell her.

"Why?" she asks.

"I think you know why" I state and left the room. I had to make sure Amira was ok. I found her still playing with Jeremy and sighed in relief.

"Gin, come meet Alaric!" Jenna calls from the front door. I head over to the pair. "Alaric, this is my twin sister Ginevra, who we all call Gin. Gin this is Alaric Saltzman, who goes by Ric" she states.

"A pleasure Ric, thanks for giving my niece a chance to have a connection to her biological mother" I say.

"Yeah, I figured it was time to take care of my wife's things. And I thought Elena would enjoy it" he says with a shrug.

"So Jenna told me about your dead wife, but never said her name" I state.

"Oh it was Isobel" he tells me.

"Isobel, as in Isobel Flemming?" I ask shocked.

"You knew her?" he asks surprised.

"She helped me a lot when my daughter was born. Actually there might be a few things at her office for me" I state. "I was so shocked to hear about her death, but I was told she left some things for me in a box. Her assistant should know where it is" I tell him.

"I'll see if I can find and will bring it back for you" he tells me.

"Thanks Ric, you're a good guy" I state. Jenna called Elena down as a car horn sounds. Stefan and Elena appear.

"Hey, are you okay?"Elena asks Jenna.

"Yeah, just, men and their baggage" she mutters.

"He's not going with you is he?" I ask Elena eyeing Stefan.

"No, his brother is. I'll be ok Aunt Gin" she assures me.

"You can't trust them Elena, don't turn your back on them" I tell her lowly. I then go join my daughter and Jeremy. "You two having fun?" I ask them.

"I don't know how, but she's beating me in everything" Jeremy states. I laugh.

"Hi Amira, how would you like to go see your cousin Tyler and annoy him for awhile?" I ask her.

"Yeah Ty!" she shouts.

"Cousin?" Jeremy asks confused.

"Oh Mason Lockwood's her dad" I tell him.

"Wow, didn't see that" he tells me.

"Well you only meet her a couple of days ago" I remind him. "Anyway go get your shoes on" I tell Amira and she ran upstairs. She soon reappeared and we went to the Lockwoods. I notice Mason's car gone, good. Didn't want to see him at the moment.

"Ty!" Amira shouts as he opened the door. She hugged him around the waist.

"Ouch, you're strong" he states and she lightens her grip. "Hey Gin, if you're looking for Mason. He left" he tells me.

"No, Amira wanted to see you" I tell him. "And I thought it was time she meet your mum" I add. He nods his head and let us in.

"Gin!" Carol shouts when she saw me.

"Hi Carol, I thought it was time you meet your niece officially" I tell her. "Amira, say hi to your aunt Carol" I say as she bounces in Tyler's arms.

"Hi" she says giddily.

"You and Mason?" Carol asks me shocked.

"It was a one time thing" I tell her sheepishly.

"Hello" she says to Amira and gives her a hug. "How about you join us for lunch?" she suggests. Amira agrees.

"I'd love to stay mum, but I have a party to get too" Tyler states.

"Ok be careful" she tells him and he left. Amira and I had lunch with Carol. Before we left for the woods. We went to the top of the falls where we set up camp. Then had dinner cooked over the fire. Before Amira changed into a nightgown. I had multiple plain nightgowns for her to wear on a full moon. Sure they get ruin, but it's fine.

The full moon finally rose and Amira changed. Even though she doesn't feel pain anymore, it's still hard to see her break every bone in her body. She shook out her fur and howled. I laid out her toys as we heard another howl. She howls back. Must be her father. She goes to run.

"No Amira, you know the rules" I tell her and she whines. I give her the look. I know she wants to see her dad, but I didn't want her to see him locked up. We hear the howl again, this time closer. "What the hell?" I mutter as I got to my feet grabbing my metal bat. Amira comes to stand beside me as an adult wolf appears growling.

Amira sniffs the air and steps forward. The wolf looks at her and tilts it's head. Amira yips and play bows wagging her tail. I smile, it must be Mason. But I thought he was locking himself up. Oh well, it'll make Amira happy that he's here.

I lowered the bat. "Have fun you two" I tell the pair. Mason's wolf looks up at me and growls. "Don't growl at me mister" I snap. Amira grabs his attention and he looks down at her. She licked his nose before running off yipping. I giggle. "Better go catch her, she doesn't know these woods" I tell Mason before sitting down.

He took off in search of our daughter. He soon returned carrying her and I giggle. He set her down and she ran over to her toys grabbing the rope. She dragged it over to him and they start to play tug of war.

Amira soon becomes tired, I pick her up "Bed time" I state and head over to my swag tent. I put Amira down and she goes to curl up in the sleeping bag. I look over at Mason. "You can join us if you want or leave. Your decision" I tell him before entering the tent. I get into the sleeping bag with Amira and held her close. She was already asleep.

Mason lays down on Amira other side. "Thank you, for making her dream come true" I tell him. Before falling asleep.
