Third Persons POV

Trevor had no idea what to do about the little girl. He prayed Rose did. He took both the little girl and Elena to the abandoned house. Where they'd be handing Elena to Elijah, in exchange for their freedom. He took Amira inside first then Elena. "What do you want?" Elena asks weakly as Trevor removed the ropes from her and Amira. He tells her to be quiet as Amira stirs. "Please I'm hurt" she pleads.

"I know" he says as Amira wakes smelling danger. "Just a taste" he says and goes to bite Elena. Except Amira leapt forward on instinct and bite Trevor's arm as her eyes glowed. "Ow!" he yells me pain shaking her off. Elena pulls Amira into her arms. "Why you little brat" he snarls and goes to hit her.

"Trevor! Control yourself" Rose tells him.

"But the little brat bite me" he whines.

"You were going to bite her friend" she states. He rolls his eyes. "Go to the other room" she orders and Trevor left the room. She looks at Elena as she comforted a scared Amira who was crying for her mum.

"Everything will be ok" Elena assures her little cousin. Though still surprised that she had bite Trevor. Guess it's her wolf's instincts. "What do you want with us?" she asks Rose.

"The little girl nothing, you on the other hand. Look just like her" she states. Elena realizes she must be talking about Katherine. As she and Amira don't really look alike.

"But I'm not. Please, whatever you..." Elena begs.

"Be quiet!" Rose snaps scaring Amira. Elena puts her down and stands up in front of her.

"But I'm not Katherine. My name is Elena Gilbert and this is my little cousin Amira Sommers. You don't have to do this" Elena tells Rose.

"I know who you are, but thanks for telling me who the little girl is. I said be quiet" Rose tells her.

"What do you want?" Elena asks her pleadingly. Rose slaps her hard. Elena falls on the couch, unconscious.

"Elena!" Amira cries and shakes her.

"Quiet little one" Rose tells her.

"I want my mummy!" Amira cries and Rose sighs.

"You'll see your mother soon, just be quiet and do as you're told" Rose tells her gently. "Remain here with your cousin" she adds. Before leaving to go talk to Trevor. To try and figure out what to do about Amira.

(Gilbert house) Gin's POV

When I left the Lockwoods, I noticed Elena's car still in the drive way. But I figured Stefan had given her and Amira a lift home. So went home. Except I noticed both mine and Elena's bed hadn't been slept in. I frowned in confusion, I didn't tell Elena she could take Amira to the Salvatores for a sleep over.

I take my phone out and tried to call Elena. But no answer, so I call Stefan. "Gin, hey now's not a good time" he tells me.

"Have you seen Elena and my daughter?" I ask him.

"Not since last night" he states. I sense he's not telling me something.

"Stefan tell me what's going on right now!" I demand. He sighs telling me to come to the school. I told him I'd be there in ten. I arrive to see him with Damon.

"She's in the tomb, period. End of story but she did say something to me right before I shut her in. I thought she was lying" I hear Damon tell Stefan as I approach.

"What did she say?" Stefan asks him.

"Elena's in danger" Damon states.

"Which means my daughter is in danger!" I snap glaring at the pair.

"What's she doing here?" Damon asks Stefan.

"Amira was with Elena last night and is missing also" Stefan tells him.

"You both are going to help me find my daughter and niece. And if a single hair on my daughter's head is harmed, I will kill you both" I snap. "We clear?" I demand.

"Crystal" Damon says as Stefan nods his head.

"Good, now lets go talk to Bonnie about finding them" I tell them. Stefan lead the way. We meet her in Ric's classroom with Jeremy. I allow her to use my blood to find my daughter. Jeremy said he'd map it, get an aerial view will show us what's around there, help us narrow down the area.

"Perfect. Call me with whatever you find" Stefan tells him.

"Lets go you two" I tell the Salvatores.

"You're coming with us?" Damon asks me.

"It's my daughter" I remind him.

"You're coming?" Stefan asks Damon surprised.

"It's Elena" Damon tells him. We pile into Damon's car after getting some weapons and he drives us to the location. I strap a stake sleeve to each arm and cover them with a jacket. Put a vervain dart in my jacket pocket. "You sure you want to come in?" Damon asks me.

"You ask me that one more time and I'll stake you" I sneer.

"Thank you for helping us" Stefan tells Damon.

"Can we not do the whole road trip bonding thing? The cliche of it all makes me itch" Damon states.

"Agreed" I state.

"Oh, come on Gin, Damon. We all know that you being in this car has absolutely nothing to do with me anyway" Stefan states.

"You're right it has to do with my daughter and niece" I state.

"There's nothing to talk about" Damon tells Stefan.

"That's not true. I mean, are you in this car because you want to help your little brother save the girl that he loves and her little cousin? Or is it because you love Elena too? Hmm? I mean come on, express yourself. I happen to like road trip bonding" Stefan tells him. I roll my eyes and ignore them.

(House) Third Persons POV

"Are you serious?" Trevor asks Rose.

"Yes, once we've handed the doppelganger over. We'll return Amira to her mother" she states.

"The little brat bite me Rose" he whines.

"You tried to bite her cousin, she was protecting her" Rose reminds him. "Besides, how much harm can a little human girl do?" she asks him. He rolls up his sleeve showing her the bite mark. Rose frowns in confusion. "You haven't had blood in awhile, we'll hunt after returning Amira and you'll be as good as new" she states. "Anyway, I'm going to go board up more windows" she adds and left him.

Gin's POV

We arrived at the destination. "The house should be just beyond those trees. Wait, I got a lot more experience than you both do with those sorts of things" Damon tells us.

"What is your point?" we ask him.

"My point is, whoever has Amira and Elena is probably who was after Katherine in 1864 and before that" Damon tells us.

"And?" I ask annoyed.

"And it puts them at 500 years old and strong. Are you sure you want to do this?" he asks us.

"My daughter and niece, of course I'm going" I tell him.

"Yeah, I'm certain I want to do it" Stefan tells him. We head for the house. We enter and break a window to announce our arrival. We watched as a man in a suit appears with Amira, Elena and another girl. He was holding my daughter and niece by their arms. They look terrified and I glar at him.

'Wait here' Damon mouths at me. Stefan and Damon confused the two strange vampires. They managed to grab the girls. Damon hands me Amira and I hold her close shushing her as she cries into my shoulder silent. 'Get to the car' Damon mouths at me after signaling the other girl to be quiet.

'Elena' I mouth.

'We will handle it' he mouths. 'Get your daughter out' he mouths.

"Excuse me. To whom it may concern, you're making a great mistake if you think that you can beat me. You can't. Do you hear that?" the man asks.

'Go' Damon mouths to me handing me the car keys. I walk silently towards a window. As the man continues to speak. I lower Amira outside the window and climb out as we hear an explosion. Must of been one of the vervain grenades.

"Mummy" she whimpers and I pick her up.

"Everything is ok" I assure her and run towards the car. I place Amira in the back seat and turn the car on. Before getting in the back with her. "Baby, are you hurt?" I ask her.

"No, I bite bad man" she tells me.

"I'm proud, but from now on. You are not leaving my sight" I tell her. She nods her head and I hug her close. Damon and Stefan soon appear with Elena. Who gets in the back seat with us and I hug Elena and Amira close to me. Not letting them go for the whole ride home.

We arrived home and I carry a sleeping Amira. I guess today's events really tired her out. Bonnie and Jeremy gave Elena each a big hug. I woke Amira and gave her a much needed bath. Before putting her in her Pj's. I got changed as well. We then slept as I held her close.
