Gin's POV

So it's been seventeen days since Amira and I moved into our own house. Things are going well so far. Jenna still hasn't returned though. I've spoken to her on the phone and knows she has my support. Though doesn't know I knew about Isobel. Tonight is the sixties dance and I've been asked to chaperone by Ric. I found it weird, but I agreed to anyway. Carol said she'd watch Amira for me.

Anyway today Elena is signing the documents that will make her the owner of the Salvatore house. Then she went to school with Bonnie. I went shopping with Amira today and she helped me pick out a sixties outfit. While that happened.

I had just gotten home when I was asked to go to the Salvatore house. Apparently, it's urgent. It's a little annoying as it's a full moon in two days. And I haven't started to pack yet for the camping trip. I also haven't decided where we're camping yet.

Amira and I arrive at the Salvatore house. She runs inside and I find her hugging Elena. "So what's going on?" I ask.

"Klaus compelled someone at school, he's here" Stefan states. I curse silently as I sit down.

"What's the plan?" I ask them. As Amira climbs onto my lap.

"We'll go to the dance and find him" Damon states.

"Really? How are we going to do that? We don't even know what he looks like" Stefan states.

"Something tells me he's not going to be sixteen and pimply" Damon states.

"He could be anywhere at any time. He compelled somebody at school" Stefan reminds him. "I guess it's not as safe as you guys thought, huh?" he asks Elena and Bonnie. Someone knocks on the door and Ric enters.

"Sorry I'm late" he states.

"Hey, I need you to put me down as a chaperone at the dance tonight. Klaus made his first move" Damon tells him.

"Okay, so we find him and then what, hmm? What's our plan of attack?" Elena asks.

"Me. I'm the plan. He has no idea how much power I can channel. If you can find him, I can kill him" Bonnie says confidently. As Amira hopped onto my lap and I wrapped my arms around her. Holding her close.

"That's not going to be that easy. I mean, he is the biggest, baddest vampire around" Ric reminds us.

"Alaric has a point. I mean, what if he..." Damon says. He rushes at Bonnie but she throws him on the other side of the room with her powers, without touching him. Amira claps her hands.

"Again!" she cheers and I smile kissing her forehead.

"Well, I was impressed" Stefan states.

"It doesn't matter if he's an Original. I can take down anyone who comes at me. I can kill him, Elena. I know I can" Bonnie assures her.

"I'm just glad Amira won't be there, I don't want her anywhere near that vampire" I state.

"We'd keep her safe Gin" Ric tells me.

"I know, but Carol already agreed to look after her. Besides once Klaus is dead, this will be over" I state. "Speaking of, I have to go drop Amira off. Then get ready, see you guys at the dance" I tell them.

"I could give you a lift" Ric tells me.

"No, it's fine I have my car" I assure him. I said goodbye and took Amira to the Lockwoods. "Thanks for doing this" I say to Carol as Amira ran off inside the house.

"Of course, she's family and it takes my mind off of Tyler" she states.

"Ok, well I'll be back a nine-thirty to collect her" I tell her. "Call if you have any problems or have any questions regarding Amira" I state. She agrees and I hug her. Before going home, I got ready for the dance. I'm soon ready and put my hat on when there is a knock at my door.

I frown and go answer it, to see Ric. "Hi Gin" he says with a smile. "I know you said you'd drive, but I think it'd be better if we go together. Safer, you know with Klaus around" he states.

"I have to get Amira afterwards Ric" I remind him.

"Let her have a sleep over, I'm sure it'll make Carol happy and you won't have to worry" he states.

"I guess I could ask her" I say.

"Call her" he says with a smile.

"Ok, give me a minute" I tell him and go grab my phone. I call Carol.

"Amira is fine Gin" she tells me with a chuckle.

"I know, I trust you completely. I was just wondering, could she sleep over?" I ask her. "I just wanted to go visit Jenna after the dance you know and check on her. She is having a fight with Ric" I state.

"Of course Amira can stay" she assures me. "When will you pick her up tomorrow?" she asks.

"I'll be there for breakfast" I tell her.

"See you then" she states.

"You're a lifesaver" I tell her.

"Anything for family" she tells me.

"Tell Amira I love her" I add. She said she would and we hang up. I head back to the front door. "Carol says she can watch Amira, thanks for this Ric" I state. We leave and I lock the door. "So spoken to Jenna since your guys fight?" I ask him.

"You'd know if I had, I'm sure you've spoken to her more recently then me" he states. As reached his car, we got in and he started to drive us to the school.

"Well she is still pissed at you, but I'm sure he you called. She'd come back to talk" I tell him.

"I'll do that" he tells me.

"Good, I'm rooting for you guys" I state. We arrive at the school. "Man, feels like forever ago when I last went to a decade dance" I say.

"It'd be better if they did a different decade, like the twenties" he tells me.

"The twenties, did sound like a fun decade" I chuckle. "Lets go kill an original" I tell him. He smirks and we go inside. "I'm gonna go get a drink, you want anything?" I ask him.

"No, I'm good" he assures me. I left him and went over to the refreshment table. When the music pauses and a girl gets onto the stage.

"Thanks for being here, everybody. We have a special shout-out tonight" she states. "This is for Elena. From Klaus" she announces and a new song starts. Not a bad song, but honestly the guy is creepy. Stefan and Elena join me at the refreshment table.

"Klaus seems a little obsessed with you Elena" I state.

"Yeah and I know everyone here" she states.

"We'll find him" I assure her. "Then Bonnie will kill him and this will be over" I state.

"So enjoying the dance?" she asks me.

"Nope, but I can't complain" I tell her. "Anyway you two should go and dance, have fun" I state. She nods and went to the dance floor with Stefan. I sigh and relax against a wall with my drink.

"Not going to dance?" Ric asks me as he joins me.

"Not really into dancing" I tell him. "Anyway sign of Klaus?" I ask him.

"None" he states. "Though I was about to do a round, make sure he is not lurking in any empty hallways" he tells me.

"Well be safe, I wouldn't want you to die before you made up with Jenna" I tell him. He nods his head and left. I look around and frown when I don't see Jeremy or Bonnie and Elena. I put my empty glass down and start to look for them. I find Caroline and Matt. "Hi, have you two seen Elena or Jeremy?" I ask them.

"Not since we arrived and Stefan asked for a dance" Caroline tells me.

"Something wrong?" Matt asks me.

"No, just doing my job as chaperone" I state. "Enjoy the dance" I tell them. I leave the gym and take out my phone. I try to call Jeremy, no answer. Then try Elena, same thing. "Damn it" I curse. I call Stefan and he answers. "What's going on?" I demand.

"Klaus compelled kids to attack Jeremy. He is fine and we knocked them out. I sent Damon to find Elena" he states. "You should find Jeremy and get out of her" he tells me.

"I don't have a car Stefan, I came with Ric" I remind him.

"Then find him and Jeremy, I gotta find Elena" he states and hangs up. I curse and go look for Jeremy. I find him and hug him tightly.

"I was so worried about you and your sister" I state.

"I'm fine, just a few bruises" he assures me. "I want to find Bonnie" he states.

"Ok, lets go look for her" I tell him. We start to search for her. Soon we find Damon outside by his car. "Have you seen Elena or Bonnie?" I ask him.

"Elena is safe with Stefan, a lot happened tonight" he states.

"Where's Bonnie?" Jeremy asks him.

"We need to have a little talk" Damon tells us. Opening his car door.

"I came with Ric" I tell him.

"Yeah, well he already left. I'll explain on the way" he states. I sigh and get in with Jeremy. "So long story short, Klaus was possessing Ric. Bonnie had to fake her death as he was trying to kill her. As he is scared of her, Elena doesn't know yet that Bonnie is alive" he explains.

"What?!?" we exclaim.

"Oh no, Amira" I say. "We have to go to the Lockwood house, he knows she's there. What if he goes after her?" I ask.

"We can collect her now" Damon assures me. I sigh in relief. We soon reach the Lockwoods and Carol answers the door confused.

"I know, I said she could stay. But something has come up and I can't be here tomorrow morning" I tell her. She nods and goes to get Amira for me. Damon then dropped us off at my house and waited until I was inside to leave. I finally felt safe. I put Amira to bed and got ready for bed myself. And called it a night.
