The Guardians

Jack and Elsa watched as Guardians their past selves. Elsa was now the Guardian of Love. The Man in the Moon had given them permission to visit their past selves to find out who they were before they became Guardians.

Currently, they were watching Jack Overland. "Just go, big brother!" Jack's little sister shoved him out the door. Jack O. was going to visit a girl that he liked, and tell her that he liked her. Elsa and Jack watched as Jack O. stood outside their small house, dumbfounded and holding a single white rose.

He ruffled his brown hair and sighed before turning back toward the house and knocking on the door. The door swung open to reveal a girl similar to Jack. Brown hair, brown eyes, brown clothes. "What?" She asked impatiently. "Ahhhh...I have to check how I look." He made up an excuse before the girl could shout at him and dashed to his room.

"You really do have a crush on this girl, Jack." Elsa giggled poking Jack F. in the chest. The people couldn't hear or see them, but Jack and Elsa could touch things. He swatted her hand away and turned his attention back to Jack O. He was currently locked in his room, looking at himself in the mirror. He modeled his white shirt with a brown vest and brown pants similar to Jack F.

With a sigh, Jack opened the door to his room and sauntered into the living room. His sister was pacing and she stopped to look at him. He grabbed his cloak and made his way to the door. He hesitated as his hand hovered above the doorknob. "Maybe..." His voice trailed off.

Suddenly his sister grabbed onto his ear and twisted it. "Ow ow ow ow ow, Emma!" He winced. She opened the door and threw him out and slammed the door behind him. He rubbed his ear as he got off of the ground. He dusted off the rose and started walking somewhere.

"I had a violent sister." Jack murmured to himself as he rubbed his chin. He followed his brown-haired self. He floated in the air as Elsa walked leisurely on the ground since she couldn't fly.

They had been walking for a while as they approached a huge palace. Jack O. knocked on the door. A maid answered. "Hello, Jackson! Lovely meeting you! What can I do for you today?" She woman asked cheerily. "Um hi. Can I speak to the Queen, please." He asked, hiding the rose behind his back and rubbing his neck. "Of course! Have a seat in the garden dear." The woman said as she closed the door and scurried inside.

"It must be the Queen your crushing on, Jack." Elsa giggled. "Yeah, no dip Sherlock." He replied. Elsa followed the old woman into the castle as Jack followed her. They lost the woman for a moment. But then they heard talking coming from a nearby room.

"Who has come to see me?" A different voice asked. Elsa and Jack crept into the room. The two women were talking with their back facing toward them. Elsa sat on the bed as Jack hovered in the air.

"No!" Elsa scolded Jack as his hand was about to knock a vase off the shelf.

"Come on!" He pouted. "You'll scare them away!" Elsa said, wagging a finger in the air. The sun glinted off her platinum blonde hair that was messily thrown in a braid over her left shoulder. Her arms crossed over her chest in a royal manner.

"Jackson, ma'am." The woman said

"Ok, I'll be there soon." The woman, who as assumably the queen, said.

The other woman left the room. The queen turned around. Jack and Elsa both gasped. Same platinum blonde hair, same rosy lips, and same frame, it was Elsa.

Elsa walked up to herself curiously. She tilted her head looking at herself. She pursed her lips in a thoughtful manner.

Elsa (the queen) breathed out heavily. She smiled. A smile so wide it spread across her face from ear to ear. She jumped on her bed squealing with excitement.

"Haven't changed much," Jack commented from the dresser he was sitting on. Elsa (the Guardian) shot him a dirty look and looked back at herself.

Elsa (the queen) sighed heavily as she climbed off of the bed. She looked at herself in the full-length mirror and fixed her hair, which was in a tight bun above her head. She smoothed her teal dress and adjusted her purple cape. She slipped on some gloves before taking a deep breath and walking out of the room.

Elsa and Jack followed Elsa outside to the garden where Jack was sitting on the bench facing away from them. Elsa (the queen) tapped Jack O. on the shoulder and he stood up hurriedly.

"Oh hi, Elsa." He laughed shyly. "Hello Jack," Elsa said. "What do want to talk to me about?"

"Umm...let just walk for a bit." He said, gesturing toward the pathway that twisted around the garden. Elsa nodded and they both started walking.

"Nice day, don't you think?" Jack asked, still holding the rose behind his back.

"Yes, very lovely." She said facing straight forward with a small smile on her lips.

"How're your duties as the Queen?"

"Difficult. Neighboring kingdoms are trying to trade ice with us, and we're not getting enough profit. And on top of all that, I must look for a suitor to become the King of Arendelle." Elsa said.

Jack had a confused look on his face as he walked beside her.

"Interesting use of your vocabulary." Jack F. looked at Elsa (the Guardian).

"Thanks." She said irritably.

"I miss running around, being a kid, and doing fun things." Jack O. whined. "I wish I could be young forever."

Elsa (the Guardian) shot Jack F. an amused glance and he chuckled to himself.

They chit chatted for a little longer as they started to head back to the castle.

After a while, Jack had to carry Elsa (The Guardian) on his back cause she complained it was getting to hard to walk.

"You're doing just fine." He gestured toward Queen Elsa with his staff.

"I'm concealing." She whined.

"Fine." He grunted as he got on one knee. Elsa ran joyously toward him and jumped on his back. She wrapped her arms and legs around him and he started to fly behind themselves as they walked along.

When they reached the doors of the castle, Jack O. stopped Queen Elsa.

"Elsa, I know we have been friends since kids." He held out the rose awkwardly to Elsa. "You might not like me back, but Elsa, I really, really, reall-" Jack O.'s sentence was cut short when Jack F. suddenly kicked Jack O. from the back. He was knocked off balance by the impact and his head crashed into Elsa's chest.

"Why'd you do that?" Elsa (the Guardian) shrieked as she pointed furiously at Jack O. with his face in Elsa's chest.

"I was taking too long." He shrugged.

Elsa froze as her cheeks slowly turned red and her eyes widened. Slowly she turned her head down to look at Jackson.

He immediately pulled away from her. A deep red blush covered his face and he avoided her eyes. He ended up just shoving the rose in her hand and sprinted in the other direction.

"You ruined it, you moron!" Elsa (the guardian) slapped on the head.

"Ow! Sorry!" He whined rubbing his head.

They turned their attention back to Elsa. She blinked a couple of times and looked at the rose in her hand. She smiled and walked back into the castle.

Jack and Elsa stood dumbfounded as they watched themselves retreat back to their normal lives.

"Guess we should go back?" Jack suggested.

Elsa nodded. She hopped onto his back again as they made their way through the night sky.

"Say, Jack," Elsa asked after a period of silence.

"Huh?"

"Do you still like me?" She said as they approached North's house.

"What if ?" He asked as they landed.

Elsa thought for a moment. "If you said no, I'd kiss you on the cheek, but if you said yes, I'd kiss you on the-" Elsa's words got muffled as Jack pressed his lips against hers. Elsa's eyes widened and a blush formed on her face. His thin lips moved against hers and she put her arms around his neck.

His eyes were closed and he enjoyed her scent. He always wondered why she had a lingering scent of white roses. His hand rested on her waist, and the other cupped her face. His heart beat faster as she smiled during the kiss. Her hands wandered into his hair and she curled a strand around her finger.

They both pulled away at some point. They both had a deep red on their faces as they looked away from one another. They walked to the door of North's house in silence.

Just before the door swung open, Jack glanced up. He saw a green mistletoe. He turned Elsa's head to look at him and he gave her a quick peck on her soft lips. She gasped by surprise but chuckled as he pulled away. They grinned to one another as North greeted them at the door.
