ICE-solated Penguin
"Ok! Now class..." The teacher droned on as Elsa listened attentively.
A loud screeching sound from her left made her frown as she kept her head facing straight. The sound came again, followed by a few snickers. Elsa's eyelids fluttered in annoyance.
She already knew where it was coming from and who was causing it. She didn't care enough to do anything and she didn't want to encourage it. So she ignored it.
Finally, the screeching ended and a new companion was next to her desk. She groaned in frustration.
"What do you want?" She hissed, still facing forward.
"I'd thought I'd accompany you. You looked so ICE-solated." Jack commented.
Jack was one of Elsa's childhood friends. She found him annoyingly irresistible. His annoyance-y was at it's peak when he bothered her in class. Unlike Elsa who paid attention in class and worked hard, Jack was the class troublemaker and got good grades without doing anything. Elsa found this very puzzling.
"No one asked you to." She whispered, trying to stay quiet in the lesson.
"Ah, don't be so COLD, ICE QUEEN," Jack emphasized.
It was a game between the two. Jack's nickname for Elsa was either Ice Queen of Snowflake, and Elsa called him either Frost or Frosty and occasionally Jackie if she was trying to get him agitated.

After school, they went to Jack's or Elsa's house, like they did almost every day. Today it was Jack's house. He said he had a present for her.
When they got inside, Jack told Elsa to go to his room and wait. Hesitantly Elsa went. Hurridly Jack went to the garage and got the gift.
He rushed to his room where Elsa had her back facing him. "Elsa," He called. She turned around with a curious look on her face. Jack brought it out from behind his back. "Ta-da!" He cheered, feeling quite proud of himself. He waited for her response.
Just when he thought he wasn't going to get one, he was already feeling pretty embarrassed, Elsa let out the loudest scream possible.
Jack winced as he imaged his ear to be bleeding, but forced a smile anyway.
"A PENGUIN!" Elsa cheered as she took the black and white animal in her arms.
She cradled it delicately as Jack chuckled, forgetting about his bleeding ear. "Where did you get him?" She cooed. "My friend who is an animal tamer was in town, so I picked up this little guy." He gestured toward the fuzzy penguin.
She said nothing but swung the penguin around. Jack just smiled at her. They resembled two parents swooning over their baby.
Finally, though, Elsa set the penguin down and gave Jack a big hug. Jack smiled as nuzzled his face in her strawberry scented hair.
He thought when he could call her his.
