Jack, Elsa, and the Snowglobe
Her name was Elsa Arendelle. She came from some place in Alaska. Her hair was a pale blonde that she wore in a braid and had light blue eyes. She seemed to be quiet which was usual for a new student. She came with her sister Anna who had done the liberty of introducing herself and her sister to almost everyone in school.
Anna had already made friends with Kristoff, Sven, Jack, Hiccup, Merida, Rapunzel, and Flynn's group which meant so did Elsa.
"So you guys are really from Alaska?" Kristoff asked.
"Yeah we just moved here last summer. It's so much warmer here!" Anna said "I like it!"
"I miss the cold." Elsa said. "It use to snow all the time in Alaska and I liked to look at the snowflakes."
"We already have something in common Elsa Arendelle." Jack smiled.
"Watch it Jack..." Merida said pointing at him.
"What?!" Jack asked defensively.
"Nothing." Rapunzel said "nothing yet."
"Elsa and Anna Arendelle please report to the principals office."
"Wow on your first day you girls are already causing trouble." Flynn said.
"Haha very funny actually we have to go and get our classes figured out I'm supposed to be in Bio but I got Elsa's chemistry class so we have to fix it. See you guys later," Anna said.
As the two walked away towards the office Merida and Rapunzel looked at each other and nodded. They both punched Jack in the arm.
"Ouch!!! What the hell was that for?" Jack asked running his arms.
"Oh you know what." Rapunzel said.
"What?!"
"We saw the way you were staring at Elsa and we're telling you to back off." Merida said.
"Why?"
"Because we know what you do to girls Jack you like them for about three weeks then you get bored and go for someone else and we like these girls." Merida said.
"Please Jack we need more girls in this group! So what ever you don't date her."
"Jeez you guys are so untrusting." Jack said.
"Jack we love you and you're our friend but we've seen what you do....just please for once don't date her......or her sister!" Rapunzel said.
"Fine.... " Jack said.
The bell rang and the group disbanded to their classes.
Jack went to his Honors English class. English was always something he had been really good at. Math and science he was terrible at but English and Art were where he knew his stuff. His favorite teacher taught it too. Mr. Sandy..
He sat down and saw Elsa come into the class.
"Now everyone this is Elsa. Make her feel welcome. Elsa you can sit next to the right of Jack." Mr. Sandy said.
Elsa sat next to Jack as she was told.
Well they never said he couldn't talk to her.
"Hi." He said.
"Hello." She said.
"So how are you liking our little prison, excuse me, prism of knowledge." Jack said.
"You mean the school?"
"Yeah." He said.
"It's nice. A lot bigger than my last school."
"Heard any interesting rumors yet." Jack asked.
"Actually yes."
"Ooh was it the lunch meat one that ine's my favorite."
"No actually it was about you." Elsa said.
"Really?! What's in the rumor mill today for me?"
"Apparently you have dated the whole cheerleader squad."
"Well now that's not true I haven't dated Jimmy and he's one of the best on that squad."
Elsa stifled a laugh "I think they meant all the girls on the cheerleading squad."
"Well I have dated a lot of cheerleaders in my time here but I wouldn't say the whole squad." Jack admitted.
"Although to clear this rumor about me dating cheerleaders why don't I take out a nice girl like you who doesn't happen to be a cheerleader." He asked.
"Nice try Jack. But I've heard some of the stories."
"I never expected you to be a person to believe everything you hear."
"I don't. But I'm smart enough to look into something without jumping straight in."
"So you're looking into dating me?" He smiled.
"I'm seeing what sort of person you are Jack. And right now you come off like a charismatic party boy."
*bell rings*
"I am a lot more than that." Jack said
"Then show me." Elsa said picking up her books and leaving the class.
"Alright Elsa Arendelle prepared to be swept off your feet."
The next week followed with Jack ignoring Rapunzel and Merida's instructions. The first day he gave her a silver necklace with a star on the chain.
"Thank you Jack, but you're going to have to do better than that."
"What? That's a very nice necklace."
"Yes it is. But you can do better."
"Elsa you know I get paid like 11 bucks an hour at Starbucks right?"
"I'm not saying more expensive Jack, I'm saying more real and not materialistic. But I do really like the necklace. Thank you." She said putting it on.
The next day he put tons of flowers in her locker.
"Very sweet Jack, you've improved Elsa told him.
"So will you go out on a date with me?" Jack asked.
"Nope, but the flowers are very lovely."
He groaned in frustration. As Elsa walked away with a smile on her face.
"What does she want me to do?! Fly to the freaking moon!" Jack asked Rapunzel and Merida.
"You know what we're going to help you." Rapunzel said.
"What? Is this a trick?"
"No." Merida said.
"But I thought you two were pretty clear you didn't want me dating Elsa."
"Well yeah but we've never seen you try so hard for a girl before." Merida said.
"So we'll help you." Rapunzel said.
"Okay well what would make Elsa Arendelle go on a date with me?"
"Get her a snowglobe." Rapunzel said.
"What?! Why?"
"She collects them dummy!" Merida said "They're like one if her favorite things."
"Alright I'll just get her a snowglobe."
"It can't be just any snowglobe it has to be personal!" Merida said.
Jack thought for a moment.
"I got it!" Jack said "thanks you guys." He hugged them and left for his day's workshop.
Jack's dad worked as a toymaker for Toys R Us. He was responsible for making and modeling new toys to go into the store. His dad had taught him how to build toys too. Well at least simple ones like stuffed animals or link n logs
Jack went into his dad's workshop and began drawing the plans for a snowglobe. This would be the hardest thing he has ever tried to make.
He tried the first time and water spilled all over him. The second time he tried to add just sprinkles but they still fell out.
"Son what are you doing?" His dad asked.
"Trying to make a snowglobe." Jack said.
"Wow that's a pretty advanced project for you. May I ask why?"
"For a girl. She won't go out with me until I "prove" myself and I found out she likes snowglobes so I'm trying to make her one but it's not working!" He said.
"Wow this girl really has a hold on you."
"You have no idea." He said
"Here I think I can help. Now what do you want in the snow globe."
"I just wanted to put a big snowflake in the middle of it then have little pieces of fake snow floating around in there."
"Well that's a great idea Jack. Now let's see let's take apart this old snowglobe." Jack's dad said coming back with an old Santa snowglobe.
"Since we don't have the tools to make a real one we're going to have to use parts of a real snow globe to make your new one."
Him and his dad worked in the shop for an hour or two and finally finished the snowglobe. Now it wasn't the best snowglobe but it looked really good for being homemade. In the middle was a big snowflake made from bits of white plastic he'd found from the materials his dad's workshop held.
"It's perfect." Jack said. "Thanks dad."
"No problem son, hope it goes well." He said.
The next day at school Jack was extremely anxious for lunch. He walked straight over to Elsa. He was still nervous. What if she still said no after all that work?
"Hi Jack." She said.
"Hi Elsa I have a surprise for you."
"Okay.. What is it today?" She asked.
"Close your eyes." He said.
She closed her eyes,
He rummages through his bag and brought out the little snowglobe.
"Okay open them." He said.
She opened and looked down at the tiny snowglobe, she couldn't believe it.
She took it and examined it the big snowflake in the middle all the tiny fake snow. It was beautiful.
"How did you?"
"I kinda got some help.....and I remembered how much you like snowflakes."
"Where did you get it?" She questioned.
"Well actually I made it."
Elsa looked in shock. "You made this all by yourself?"
"No I tried doing it by myself but it wasn't going so well. So I asked my dad to help me out he makes toys for a living so I had a little help." Jack said.
She looked down at the snowglobe once again then looked up at Jack and smiled.
"Did I do good?" He asked.
She kissed him sweetly on the lips. "You did amazing."
"So does that mean yes to a date?" Jack asked.
"Of course." She smiled.
Authors note: woohoo got it done! I really am proud of this one. I don't know about you guys but I would seriously love getting a snowglobe from a guy haha thanks for the idea @tdc123 I hoped you liked it!! Please comment and vote everyone!
