Miss Gothel was an...interesting lady. She was a tall woman with dark curls and grey eyes. her face seemed to always be lifted in a scowl. I was pretty sure she had gotten botox. She worked with my mother and had asked me to babysit her 5 year old daughter Rapunzel. Rapunzel was a little ray of sunshine. She had bright blonde hair and emerald eyes that could melt your heart. She was very different from her mother. Maybe think she was adopted. Although Miss Gothel adopting a child seems unlikely by how much she leaves Rapunzel at home.

Tonight she had asked me to look after Rapunzel because she had some dinner to get to.

I had my own personal key so I decided to let myself in, thinking she had already left since her note said 8 and it was 8:15.

When I walked in I saw a boy about my age sitting on the couch. He went to my school, his name was Jack. He was the class clown hockey star. He didnt usually talk to me but when he did he would always call me Primcess to spite me. He had on his traditional blue hoodie.

"Uhm excuse me. I don't think you're allowed to be in here."

"Says the girl who entered without knocking." Jack replied

"I have a key." I said dangling it in the air.

"How did you get a key to this place Princess?" He asked.

"Because I babysit here."

"Well so do I." Jack said holding up his own key. "But I usually knock."

Gothel came out with one shoe on the other in her hand.

"Oh goodness what are you doing here Elsa?"

"Tonight's my night to babysit." I said.

"Oh I must've called both of you thinking that one of you were busy. Listen I'm already late so you two will have to figure it out." She said putting on the other shoe.

"Tell Rapunzel goodnight for me I'll be home late." And she was gone.

"Well Elsa you can step aside I got it here."

"Ha no way I need all the jobs I can get. I have tonight."

"But I was here first."

"So? I was hired first."

"How do you know that? What day were you hired?"

"I was hired in January 2013." I said.

"Dang mine was February 2013 well I guess you need extra help since she had to hire me too." Jack said

"Excuse me I happen to be a great babysitter. Ask Rapunzel she loves me."

"Where is Rapunzel?" He asked

"She's in her room isn't she?" I replied..

"I don't know I haven't seen her yet."

"Rapunzel!!"

No response. Jack and I rushed up stairs calling Rapunzel. They checked her room but she wasn't in there! They ran all over the house trying to find her.

"Elsa we have looked everywhere! She's not here."

"We have to keep looking!"

"Maybe Gothel took her with her. Forgot that she put her in the car. She is known for "forgetting" things."

"But Jack what if she didn't! What if Rapunzel's hurt or lost or taken oh my god Jack we are going to go to jail!" I said hyper ventilating "god this so not going to look good for my college applications."

"Elsa we need to calm down and think where would Rapunzel go."

"You looked in the treehouse right?"

"Yes." He said.

"Did she go to the neighbors house?"

"The DunBroch's? I don't know."

"Well let's go ask them!"

"We can't just ask hey is Rapunzel here because we don't know where she went." He said.

"What do you suppose we do?"

.....

"I can't believe we are doing this." I said.

Jack and I are now in Rapunzel's tree house looking with Rapunzel's you binoculars into the DunBroch's house to see if Rapunzel is in there.

"Can't they report us for stalking."

"It's not stalking we're just looking for Rapunzel."

"This treehouse looks a little unstable don't you think?" I commented.

"Hey I built this treehouse." Jack said.

"You did?"

"Yep Rapunzel and I worked all last summer building this thing. Do really think Gothel just built it?"

"No." I laughed imagining Miss Gothel building a treehouse. "I thought she paid someone or something."

"Well I got paid for babysitting so I guess that counts."

"What days do you come here Jack?"

"I'm usually here on Tuesdays Fridays and Sundays. She called me asking if I could take care of her tonight. Usually I have hockey but it's the end of the season so I was free." Jack replied

"Of course all of those days I have piano."

"Figures."

"What?"

"That you play piano. I was guessing piano flute or harp you seem like the kind of girl that listens to classical music all the time."

"I do not." Not admitting that I also play flute. "I actually listen to a lot more."

"Like what?"

"Music that's on the radio I don't know Ed Sheeran, Ingrid Michaelson, Lorde,"

"Okay so you listen to girly hipster music."

"At least I don't listen to rap."
?
"Better than listening to a song that just goes ROOOOOYAAAAALS."

"Well.

"Sh." He said

"What? What is it?" I asked

"I see her Rapunzel is playing with Merida. Let's go."

"Thank goodness." I said.

"You know this was kind of fun."

"Your idea of fun is looking for a kid that we thought we lost?"

"No I mean hanging out together. You're not so I don't know unapproachable."

"I'm unapproachable?" I asked as I hopped down from the tree house ladder.

"Well yeah Princess" he said walking by my side.

"What makes me so unapproachable."

"I don't know you just seem more.....I don't know let's just say you're much more friendly looking when you're not at school."

"Excuse me?!"

"It's true you always look upset when you walk through the halls."

"That's just my face Jack."

"No it's not you and I both know that."

We finally got to the DunBroch's house. Jack knocked on the door and explained that Gothel told us some wrong information. Elinor knew both of us and told Rapunzel that her babysitters were here.

"Hey Goldie how are you?" Jack said

"I'm okay I'm really tired though." Rapunzel said yawning.

"Okay let's go to bed little one." I said. Picking her up.

We went inside Miss Gothel's house and tucked Rapunzel in.

"You two should get married." Rapunzel said.

Jack and I stifled a laugh.

"And why do you think that."

"he always calls you princess so he could be the prince and he talks about you a lot." Rapunzel said yawning once again,

"Okay that's enough talking for tonight. Good night Rapunzel." He said.

"Good night Jack. Good Night Elsa."

"Good night." I said and shut her door.

"So you talk about me."

"Oh that pshh she just uh well you know kids they think every girl is a princess and stuff and"

"Uh huh. Sure." I smiled

"You don't have to rub it in."

"Oh yes I do." I said

"You're cruel Princess,"

"Its Queen to you." I joked.

"Oh see now you're just pushing it."

"You know Jack besides freaking out over Rapunzel I did have a fun time maybe we could babysit together more often."

"Really?!"

"Yeah I mean Gothel is sure to make the mistake again." I said

"What about your piano?"

"I guess I can reschedule." I said.

"Wow the Queen rearranging her plans for a dashingly handsome young commoner."

"Oh shut up." I said.

I had a new perspective of Jack Frost that night. There was something more to him then just jokes and hockey, and I couldn't wait to find the out the rest.
