    John was nervous, he didn't want to embarrass himself or Peggy by doing a big prompropsal, but also didn't want to make it seem like he didn't care. Peggy cared a lot about prom, she likes dressing up and getting pampered. So, you can imagine her reaction on a Friday afternoon when her asked her to the prom. ((which is way too expensive by the way  ))                                                                                                                                                    They were going to hang out after school, so he drove over to her house, with a surprise in his car. He texts Eliza that's hes there, as Angelica would beat his ass for just thinking about her sister.  Slowly, he lifts the duckling out of the crate he had it in, smiling as it squawked cutely. He grabs the sign, and the duck. Holding them as he stood at the porch, waiting for Eliza to lead peggy outside. 

Peggy squealed like a little kid when she saw the sign, it said "I'd be one lucky duck to go the prom with you!".   She ran up to him and grabbed the duckling. "Yes! Yes! John I'd love to go to prom with you, you have no idea...omg my god, this is so ducking cute!!!,"                                                He laughed, "You aren't funny,"                                                                                                                                         "Yes I am!..." He smiled at her as she rambled on for a minute and played with the duck.
