Thomas woke up by an alarm. He believed was his alarm and tried to turn it off. That's when he noticed something that was wrong. He felt something on his wrists. He opened his eyes and noticed a bracelet with a green light. "James?" He tried calling his boyfriend. 

No luck. He sat down and tried to find him by sight. Then he noticed that he wasn't in his room. He looked around and nervously walked around trying to find a way out. There was a note, with a drawing or something like it.

Then the door unlocks itself. Thomas walked out and noticed a piece of paper and a pencil over a table in the middle of another room. It was Sudoku, but a few numbers had a little pink mark on it. Thomas walked to the next door and noticed a machine where he could write one code. He soon associated the sudoku with the machine and started doing it.

As he advanced, the challenges started to get more and more difficult. And if he committed a mistake he could get shocked with the bracelet, not severely, but it couldn't rest. By the end, he was just too tired to think and lay down for a bit. Then he fell asleep. 

When he woke up he was again in bed. He was confused. "Was that all a dream?" he mumbled as he stood up and went to the kitchen. On the table was a note. He prepared some coffee and read it. 

"Daddy,
Thanks for helping me with my project and sorry for shocking you up. Pops helped me and I went to Philip's to finish my project. Thanks and try to rest.
Love ya, Lucy"

Thomas sighed and went to spend the rest of the day on the couch reading with James' cat on his lap.
