20th: Interview
Thomas sighed as his foot tapped constantly and looked at the clock. He was going to an interview to get a new job in a new company. He couldn't feel more anxious. What if he screwed it? What if he stuttered or did something wrong? What if he tripped? Did he even look presentable? Of course not with that hair.
A million thoughts wondered his mind as he tried to not just walk back home and hide under the covers. As a coping method for prevented him to have a meltdown or something, he tried to put his thoughts into something, or perhaps, someone else.
"James..." Thomas mumbled to himself sighing. God, if only James could be there for helping him.
As two just graduated students, they lived in a trashy apartment. James was still working in some of his medical practices but he was being paid enough. He wanted to be a doctor, but he was still debating which specialty he was going to chose.
He and Thomas decided to rent an apartment together in the meantime until they finally finished paying their student debts and maybe move back to Virginia or some new place near the coast.
Thomas remembered how they met and the many times he embarrassed himself in front of him, and smiled as he remembered those days were both worked their asses off to get the best notes and shared room.
"Mr. Jefferson?" A lady said opening the door and stepping out.
Thomas pulled himself together back into reality and stood up from his chair. "It's me."
"Please, come in. We're ready to start the interview", she said with a soft smile. Thomas took a deep breath and walked in.
//I'm tired. And I've been busy a lot this week. Just three weeks more and I'll can take a small break.
