That night Shivika and RuRi went to meet om. As soon as rudra opened the door, he jumped upon om and hugged him tight. Due to the sudden jump, om stumbled which resulted in both of them falling on the bed. Both were grinning wide. That was the first time gauri had seen a smile on om. And he looked heavenly.

O(sitting up): so finally tumhe apne O ki yaad aa hi gayi.

R(fake crying): shut up O. Mujhe toh aap ki yaad hamesha aati hai par yeh kanji aankhon wala zaalim insaan mujhe itna saara kaam dete hain ke mere paas toh khane ke liye bhi waqt nahi hota.

S: oh really. Tabhi aaj lunch mein tune 2 2 pizza khaye.

O:OMG rudra, tabhi main sochun tu mota kyun dikh raha hai.

R(looking at himself worried): O tell me you are lying.

With that shivOm burst out laughing. Gauri was observing om carefully. His smile was divine as well as contagious. In no time it spread to the people in the room. Suddenly om's eyes met with gauri and he stopped laughing and was looking at her with a questioning look.

S:yeh gauri hai. Dadi ki dost ki poti.

G(extending her hand): Gauri Kumari Sharma.

O(without shaking hands): Omkara.

G: so friends?

O(hesitantly shaking hands): friends.

Then all of them settle down to talk.

O: so how was your day?

S: mat puch om. Subha subha iss paanika ne mujh par paani dal diya.

A: yeh bhi toh batao ke maine paani kyun daala. Theek hai main hi bata deti hoon. Ek ghante se utha rahi thi main aur yeh uthne ka naam nahi le rahe the toh maine paani dal diya.

O(laughs): tum dono kabhi nahi badloge.

A(worried): oh bete ki!

S: ab kya hua?

A: mujhe dadi ne bulaya tha aur main bhool gayi. Main chalti hoon. (with that she left)

S:ab hume bhi chalna chahiye kal ki meeting ke liye preparation karni hai. Rudra come let's go.

ShivRu: bye om

O: bye.

Now RiKara were left alone. At first there was an awkward silence. Gauri decided to break it by revealing her profession.

G: are you a drug addict?

To say om was shocked would be an understatement.

O: tum.. Tumhe k... kaise pata.

G: i am an addiction medicine physician.

O(confused):what is that.

G: a doctor who makes addicts get rid of their addiction.

Om goes into deep thoughts.

G: Shivaay bhaiya ne mujhe bataya ke tum apna past share karne mein comfortable nahi ho. And trust me unless and until you aren't comfortable with sharing it you don't need to tell it. (om remains silent) tum apne addiction se free hona chahte ho na (om nods) tum akele nahi kar paoge. You'll need someone's help.

O:par....

G: listen to me. Mujhe yaha aaye hue 1 hafta hogaya hai par aaj pehli baar maine inn logon haste  hue dekha hai. Woh log haste  hain taki tum has sako. Apne liye na sahi apne parivaar ke liye. (om nods) toh tum karte kya ho.

O: I'm an artist.

G: wow really. (om nods with a smile) can you paint something for me?

O: but.....

G(with puppy eyes): please please please mana mat karna please.

O:ok fine. Chalo.

Om takes her to his real room which was filled with paintings and sculptures. One particular painting caught Gauri's attention. It was a painting of a lady. It was captioned as "life was never as beautiful as it is when you are by my side". Gauri wanted to know about that lady so she asked om but he was not ready to tell. She didn't force him either. Then she asked him to paint something. She started noticing him keenly.
