Gauri entered om's room tip toeing, making sure she didn't disturb om's sleep even by mistake. It has become a daily habit for her to come and talk to him when he was deep asleep. She had no courage to face him after all she had said to him that day. It was never her intention to to say all those hurtful words but her anger made her speak all those words. She had apologized to him for more than a hundred times now but when he was wasn't conscious. Today too she was here to do the same thing. "I know what I did that day is unforgivable but still I hope against hope that you forgive me, om. Please mujhe maaf kardo. I want to live the rest of my life with you. Let's give our relationship a last chance"  "how can he forgive you gauri?" she heard Shivaay's voice from the door. She stood up with her head hung down thinking that om had told Shivaay everything. "bade bhaiya maine jo kuch bhi kaha gusse mein kaha. I didn't mean even one single word. Trust me" she justified herself as a single tear rolled down her cheek. "I trust you gauri. And I understand how you're feeling right now. Once upon a time even I used to remove all my anger and frustration at Anika. But when my anger would go down I would regret my words. Par gauri there's no use of apologizing when he is asleep. Why don't you apologize to him when he is awake? " asked Shivaay " bade bhaiya I don't have that courage to face him. Mujhe mein himmat nahi hai " she said as more tears rolled down her eyes. Shivaay moves forward and cups her cheeks, wiping her tears in process,  " I don't know what happened between both of you" he says and gauri looked at him, shocked. Understanding what she's thinking Shivaay continues "no, om never told me anything. He said that he didn't want us to come in between you two. He even said that he is not going to come behind you this time" more tears roll down from her eyes thinking that om had given up on her. Shivaay wiped her tears and continued "that doesn't mean he has given up on you. He has just left it on destiny. But what that idiot doesn't understand is that we have to write our own destiny. Gauri, Om's and your destiny is now in your hands. Face him, speak to him when he is awake, apologize to him, make him forgive" he takes gauri into a hug and continues "gauri, you are like a sister to me. I will always  make sure that you get the best in life. And om is the best for you. I'm not saying this cause om is my brother. I have seen om grow. Haan woh thoda bhatak gaya tha par now he's back on track. You too know that om is the best for you right?" he asks to which she just nods her head. "don't let him go gauri" "I'll speak to him today bade bhaiya" she says and withdraws from the hug and mouths a thank you to him. He gives a nod and walks out while gauri sat beside om thinking how to speak to him.

Om woke up to a dark room. Looking around he realised that he had slept late into evening. He tried switching on the bed lamp but it wasn't switching on.he got up in hurry to switch on the lights when heard someone weep. He looked around and figured out that the sound was coming from behind the curtains .He took slow strides towards the curtains and moved them aside. He stumbled back in shock when he saw his five year old self, crying, hugging his knees. He tried touching the boy but the boy vanished into air and he heard his name being called. He turned around and saw his twelve year old self hugging a seventeen year old Shivaay and crying his heart out.He looked around to see whether he had time travelled but then his sight stuck on his twenty one year old self trying drugs for the first time. And then a slide show began in front of his eyes; of shivaay slapping him on knowing about his addiction, of him being locked in a room away from drugs, of him meeting Gauri and Ira, of gauri proposing him, of him rejecting her, of him apologizing to her, of her pushing him away, of him following her, of gauri loosing her cool and bursting out on him. He started shivering as all those memories came infront of his eyes. His tremors increased when he heard someone, to be precise, Gauri call out to him. He shut his eyes tight to avoid all those flashes when he felt someone shake him hard. He opened his eyes only to be met a pair of dark brown eyes which contained worry and abundance of love. Suddenly past few days flashed back and he sat up startled. Seeing him react in such a manner Gauri asked "what's wrong om? Did you have nightare or something? you were shivering in your sleep. tumhari tabiyat toh theek ha na?"  ignoring her voice which hinted worry he questioned her back in a cold voice "tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?"
