The whole family was seated in the hall including gauri and her dadi maa after rudra's engagement. It was decided that rudra's marriage will take place after 5 to 6 months after both rudra and saumya settle in their professional life. After the grand engagement everybody was exhausted and Ira was already asleep in om's arms. They all were chatting about Rudy's marriage when dadi said.

D: mujhe toh laga tha ke meri inn budhi aankhon ko iss khote ke shaadi dekhna hi naseeb nahi hoga.

S: but finally.... Finally he is getting married.

O: exactly

P:ab agli teri baari hai gauri

G: your wish will come true soon. I guess?

J:what do you mean?

G: dadi maa thinks that I'm passing the age of marriage so she is searching for a "perfect match" for me

D: bada achcha socha tune sumitra.

Said dadi to Gauri's dadi maa. Listening to this, om abruptly stands up, mumbles an "excuse me" and leaves towards his room along with ira. While ShivRu share a knowing look dadi asks them "isse kya ho gaya" to which they say "we'll see" and leave from there. They walk into his room to see him tucking ira to bed. They drag him out of his room towards the pool.

O(irritated): what is wrong with you guys?

S: what is wrong with you om? Why did you walk away when we were talking about Gauri's wedding.

O(looking here and there): ira was getting disturbed.

R: come on O kab tak apne aap ko ayse jhooti tasalli dete rahoge.

O: guys...... I don't want to talk about this right now. (he turns to leave but Shivaay turns him around forcefully)

S(a bit loud) : aaj nahi om. Aaj tujhe baat karni hogi.

O(aggressively): what do you want to talk about, huh?

S: about your feelings. What do you feel for gauri?

O(angrily): so you wanna talk about it then listen. Yes, I have feelings for gauri. Yes I LOVE HER dammit. Now just let me go (he starts leaving)

S: I hope you realize what you just said om.

Om walks away from there into his studio and sits there dejected, remembering the night of Rudy's party.

Flashback back
It was Rudy's birthday party. Om was busy in capturing all those beautiful memories on Rudy's insistence while others were enjoying the party. Seeing that om was alone gauri decided that this was her best chance. She went up to him and tapped his shoulder. When om turned around she said

G: om i want to have a talk with you.

O:gauri.... I'm a bit busy... Can we talk after the party.

G(pouting): om pleaseeeee.

O: ok fine (he agrees not able to reject after seeing that cute pout of hers) tell me what it is about.

G: not here. Come with me.

She takes him to a deserted area. He signals her to wait and keeps the camera on a stool beside angling it to capture the party and then signals her to start.

G:om please don't interrupt me in the middle ok (he nods) it's almost six months since I came here. I decided to stay here only for a few days and then rent a flat but then I met you so I stayed back for you. But now that you are fine I'll be leaving in a few days so I decided to tell you this today. It's been 5 years since I'm working but I haven't met anybody who has attracted me as much as you do. At first I thought it was just attraction, infatuation but then as time went by I came to know you more. I don't know how and when but I fell in love with you. I tried my best to keep my feelings in control but I couldn't and today here I am, in front of you, ready to go down on my knees (takes a flower from a flower vase kept aside and goes down on her knees) I LOVE YOU OM. I really love you alot. I know you had a very bitter past and you'll need time but for now just except this flower. Please.

Om just kept staring at her trying to process what he had just heard.
