Om was shifted to another room and gauri was treating him while the others were waiting outside. After half an gauri came out.

S: gauri om theek toh hai na?

G: haan bhaiya woh theek hai.

A: par usse hua kya tha?

G: side of drug withdrawal.

R: woh kya hota hai?

G: jab koi addict drugs intake kum kar deta hai ya drugs chodne ki koshish karta hai toh ayse attacks hote hai.

S: mera bhai theek toh ho jayega na?

G(smiles): haan bhaiya woh bohot jald theek ho jayega. (thinks) ek baar jo uske dil mein hain woh sab bahar aa gaye om bilkul theek ho jayega. Woh drugs iss liye le raha kyunke usne apne emotions ko apne tak rakha hai. Now it's time to break the dam of silence and self-tolerance.

S(bringing gauri out of her dream world): bohot raat hogayi hai. Tum sab jaake soo jao. Main om ke paas rukta hoon.

G: nahi bhaiya main om ke saath rukti hoon. Waise bhi he needs to be under observation.

They bid each other good bye and go to their rooms while gauri enters om's room. She sees him sleeping peacefully. She takes out a book from her bag, goes to a chair, sits there and begins reading. After sometime she notices om getting up. She rushes to him and feeds him water which he gulps down.

G: kaise ho?

O(smiles): theek hoon.

G(sits beside him and taking his hand in hers): om kuch der pehle tum kuch keh rahe the ki tumhara addiction ridhima ke wajah se nahi hai.......

O(feeling uncomfortable): gauri mujhe abhi iss bare mein baat nahi karni.

G: i complete understand om. Tumhe pata hai ke koi bhi drug addict drugs pehli baar kyun leta hai? (om nods in negative) jab uske dil mein bottled up feelings hoti hain toh woh unse chutkara paane keliye drugs leta hai. (om stares at her) i know om tum mujhse apna past share karne mein comfortable nahi ho par jab tum apni feelings ko dil mein rakhoge tab tak tumhari urge sirf increase hogi. Trust me when i tell you ke apna gham baat ne se gham kam hojata hai.

Om looks at her and a deep breath and leaves a big sigh.

O: 6 saal pehle main London gaya tha London arts school mein padne ke liye. Wahan mujhe ridhima mili. We became friends. Hum friends se lovers kab ban gaye pata hi nahi chala. We moved in together and then everything changed. I don't know how but I got ridhima pregnant. So we decided to get married. Maine ghar pe sabko ridhima ke bare mein bataya. Everyone agreed but Mr Oberoi (chuckles) unhe toh ek business woman chahiye thi apni bahu ke roop mein issi liye unhone mana kar diya. Issi liye maine decide kiya ke main oberoi surname chod dunga. Main ridhima ko yeh batane jaa hi raha tha ke maine usse kisi se baat karte hue suna.

Om went to ridhima's room to tell her about his decision but stopped outside when he saw her on a call. He decided to wait outside till she finishes her call. But what he heard shocked him.

Ri: no ways do you think main uss loser se pyaar karti hoon. Main toh usse sirf iss liye shaadi kar rahi hoon taki main oberoi khaandan ki bahu ban sakun. Main sirf uske paison se pyaar karti hoon.

O(continues): main bohot toot gaya. I wanted to breakdown. But I stopped myself. Maine decide kiya ke main bachche ke iss duniya mein aate hi usse leke ridhima se dur chale jaunga. Kuch din beet gaye. Ridhima ke parents ko uski pregnancy ke bare mein pata chala. Unn logon ne hume shaadi karne ke liye force kiya so we got married. Shaadi ke baad ridhima ne kaha ke hum mumbai chalte hain par maine jaise taise kar ke rok liye. (tears rolled down) Ridhima had a premature delivery. She was in her seventh month jab Omaira iss duniya mein aayi thi. Doctor's ne kaha tha ke Atleast ek saal tak usse maa ke dood ki zaroorat hai since she is weak. Issi liye mujhe ek aur saal ridhima ke saath rukna pada. Ek saal tak ridhima Mumbai jaane ki zid karti rahi aur main uski baat taalta raha yeh keh kar ke Omaira choti hai. Phir ek saal baad Omaira beemar pad gayi thi. Hume Omaira ko nearly 5 days hospitalize karna pada. 3 din ridhima Omaira ki files check kar rahi thi.

Flashback
Ridhima was checking Omaira's file outside her ward and was shocked. After sometime when om came to Omaira's ward after meeting the doctor, Ridhima was shooting daggers at him.

O: kya hua ridhima?

Ridhima takes the file and points something on it.

R: yeh kya hai?

O: meri sign

R: don't try to act smart with me om. Tumne yahan pe sirf Omkara kyun sign kiya hai Omkara Singh Oberoi kyun nahi?

O(taking a deep breath): ridhima maine apna oberoi surname chod diya hai.

To say ridhima was shocked would be an understatement.

O(continues): agle din jab mein kaam ke baad hospital gaya toh mujhe pata chala ke ridhima ne Omaira ka discharge karva liya hai. Main bhaagte hue ghar gaya. Wahan pe sirf ridhima thi,Omaira nahi.

Flashback
O: ridhima, tumne omaira ka itni jaldi discharge kyun karvaya.

R: tumhe kya laga tum oberoi surname chodoge aur main tumhe ayse hi chodungi.

O(angry) : yeh mere sawal ka jawab nahi hai.

R: tumhe apni sawal ka jawab chahiye toh suno. Tumhe kya laga tum kuch bhi karoge aur main chup chap dekhti rahoongi. Main chup baitne walon mein se nahi hoon. Since tumne oberoi surname chod diya hai tumhe Omaira ko bhi chod na hoga.

O: kya bakwaas kar rahi ho. Batao meri beti kahan hai.

R(shows a phone): yeh dekho. Tumhari beti uss car mein hai meri maa ke saath. Kyunki tumne mere sapna tod diya ab main tumhari zindagi chenungi. Tumhara zindagi matlab Omaira.

O: nahi tum aysa kuch nahi karogi.

Suddenly they hear a sound from the phone. When they look at it they see the car omaira was in burning into ashes. Om was shocked and shouts "Omaira" while ridhima keeps laughing like a maniac.

O(crying): phir maine decide kiya ki main Mumbai wapis aaunga. Main dusre flat mein shift ho gaya. 2 din baad main Mumbai ke liye nikal hi raha tha ke ghar pe police aa gayi. Un logon ne kaha ki ridhima ne suicide kar liya aur usne apne suicide letter mein yeh likha tha ki maine uski beti ko maar daala issi liye woh iss duniya mein nahi rehna chahti. Main ek hafta jail mein tha phir Shivaay ne mujhe release karvaya.

Tears flowed down without barriers. Both Gauri's and om's eyes were dabbed with tears, Om's thinking about his past whereas Gauri's listening to his pain. Neither of them talk nor was the silence awkward.

I know this not as expected. Even I am not happy with the chap. Actually I had written it earlier and it was much better than this.
