Hearing the noise of the breaking of plate, gauri rushed to om's room. She stood at the entrance and became a silent spectator. Shivaay moved towards om and slapped him hard on his right cheek. The slap was so hard that Om lost his balance but some how managed to stand. Shivaay again slapped him now on his left cheek, Om again got disbalanced and by now his eyes were overflowed with tears and his head was bowed down in shame, Shivaay also had tears in his eyes but with rage and helplessness accompanied. Shivaay repeatedly slaps Om. While Om looks on bowing his head. Finally Shivaay stops but his anger didn’t reduce so he hits the mirror so hard that it breaks and pieces of glass enter his hand, but he didn’t feel the pain as his inner turmoil was much more painful. Gauri gets startled with the breaking sound of mirror. He leaves the place but before leaving he joins his hands in front of  gauri and asked her to bring him back his brother. Om was still standing at the place with tears. Gauri walked up to him and shook him harshly. He looks at her, the eyes that were always filled with hope and friendliness were today filled with anger, the anger in her eyes was enough to scare om.

G: tumne mujhse pucha tha na ke main tumhe hospital kyun leke gayi? Wahan pe maujood har insaan ke jeene ki umeed mar chuki hai. Kyun? Kyunki Unke parivaar walon ne unhe waha marne ke liye chod diya hai. Tum bohot lucky ho om tumhare bhai tumhare saath hai. Woh log tumhare liye sari duniya se ladne ke liye tayaar hain. Par tum... (shakes her head in disbelief) par tum ho ke unn logon ki kadar hi nahi karte. (raises her voice) but you don't deserve it. Pata hai kyun?kyunki tum ek khudgarz aur bushdil insaan ho. (she tries to calm down but her anger only increases) tum yeh sab uss ladki ke liye kar rahe ho na (om looks at her shocked) tum yeh sab uss ladki ke liye kar rahe ho jo iss duniya mein nahi hai par kya tumne ek baar bhi apne bhaiyon ke baare mein socha hai? Tumne kabhi apne bhaiyon se pyaar hi nahi kiya.

O(in anger pointing his finger): how dare you?

G(pushing his finger down): don't you dare point your finger at me. What i told is true. If you would have ever cared then today you wouldn’t have killed your own brother with your hands. Maybe he is alive from outside but he is soulless now. You were his strength which has been broken into fragments. Let it be. You are hopeless Om. I am just wasting my time. You just think about your dead love and let the rest die.

Her every single word were like arrows which were aimed at him. It broke him apart. Gauri was about to leave but stopped when she heard him speak in a broken voice. She turned around to see him in the most vulnerable position. He kept mumbling something. She went closer to hear him. And she was shocked at what he was saying.

O: no... No... She's not my lover..... Main ridhima se pyaar nahi karta. It's not because of her.

Gauri walks up to him and gently shakes him. Om holds her and starts panicking and crying.

O: main.. Main ridhima se p... Pyaar nahi karta. It's not because of her.

G:then who om?

That one question was enough to bring back past memories. He started sweating badly, his head begins to spin and his jaws get entangled with each other tightly. His hands begin to move in an uneven way and his body looses it’s control and he starts to have convulsions. He moves unevenly and finally falls on the floor all the while his body is shivering and his hands are in a half open fist and are moving unsynchronised. Gauri was shocked but was quick to react. She shouted out for help.

G(screams) : bhaiya, bhabhi, rudra.

All the three come running and are shocked to see him in such a state.

S(worried): gauri om ko kya hua?

G(tensed): woh sab main aap ko baad mein bataungi. Pehle hume usse dusre kamre mein shift karna hoga. (pointing ShivRu) aap dono usse shift karne mein meri madat kijiye. Aur bhabhi aap mera bag la dijiye. Mere table pe hoga.

Om was shifted to another room and gauri was treating him.

Hello!!! Remember me??? I know it's been a long time. I'm extremely sorry. Actually I was having a writers block and my academics just added up to it. Coming back to the chapter. How was it? I know most of you were expecting ridhima to be the reason for om's addiction, Will try my best to update soon but I can't guarantee anything.
