Meanwhile, Carousella, Crescent, and some of their fellow equines, as well as Vivian, were searching for the twins.

"Anakin? Carmine?" Carousella called, flying through the air with Crescent.

"Any luck up there?" asked Remix.

"Nada." said Fiesta.

Vivian sniffed around, trying to get the twins' scent, but so far found nothing except another odd scent.

"I am smelling something. It smells like the twins, but not like them." Vivian said.

"What do you mean?" asked Fantasia.

"Like it's similar to their scent, but something else is around here."

That was when the group stopped, as they'd come upon a camp full of strange objects.

The equines looked around curiously and continued to look for the twins.

"Where do you reckon all this stuff came from?" Pinto said.

"No idea." Carousella said, landing.

That was when Carousella noticed something. She pressed a button on it with her hoof, and it made a noise. A click. Carousella touched it again and it made the sound again.

"Hey, guys! Check this out!" Carousella called.
Carousella pressed the buttons a few more times, and the machine dinged. The equines were impressed.

"Let me have a go!" Crescent said, pressing the buttons like his sister.

DING! Then SMASH!
Fiesta accidentally broke a plate.

"Hey..." Carousella had an idea. "Crescent, Fiesta, do that again."

Crescent typed until the thing dinged and Fiesta smashed another plate

Then RIIIP!

A blue unicorn named Round n' Round ripped a page from a book with her teeth.

The ponies were starting to see a beat.
Crescent did the ding, Fiesta broke a plate.

"Rip it!" Carousella exclaimed. And Round n' Round did just that.

Carousella typed again, laughing. "Ding! I love that part."

Other ponies started to experiment with different things and discovering new sounds. Twanging the clothesline, jingling metal utensils, blowing bubbles, and even finding actual musical instruments that the musicorns knew exactly how to work, given that they were intelligent creatures.

But Carousella had no idea what to do with the phonograph horn, and threw it away, only for Vivian to catch it and blow into it, the horn making a trumpet sound.

"Yeah, Viv!" Remix cheered. "Hit it, guys!"

Harmony and Remix conducted everyone to start making music.

"I feel something happening here!" Carousella sang.

And before they knew it, all the equines were making music and scatting to the beat.

The ponies all had so much fun messing around with more of the camp and making all sorts of new sounds. At one point though, Remix took Vivian's horn and started blowing it himself... until Vivian growled at him and made him drop it.

But in the whole process of making music, the ponies were also making a mess!

While the ponies were still playing, Carmine and Anakin arrived with the girls.

"Padme, look!" Caroline gasped.

"Equines." Padme gasped.

The twins whinnied and galloped over to their friends. Carousella and Crescent were so happy to see their brothers were okay, and started playing with them by gently bumping heads together and running around each other and affectionately nuzzling.

"They're part of their herd." Padme smiled.

Carousella however, snorted curiously. She blinked and looked at Anakin, who nodded for her to go closer.

Carousella slowly walked curiously towards the girls, who were amazed by the sight of an alicorn.
Carousella moved closer and closer as Padme reached out her hand slowly. She let Carousella sniff her before gently starting to stroke her muzzle.

Fantasia also got curious and started to sniff Caroline.

"Hello." Caroline said, stroking the alicorn princess.

The twins were happy to see their friends were bonding with the girls, but their smiles quickly disappeared when another alicorn came about.
Queen Reigna jumped on front of her daughter and whinnied loudly, spreading out her wings to make herself look bigger. That frightened the two human girls.

The two backed away slowly, trying to avoid an attack.

"Nice horsie." Caroline said as calmly as she could, holding out her hands.

Instead of attacking, however, Reigna sniffed the two of them, and whinnied again to tell the others they had to leave quickly.

That was when the Marehearts' parents came into view.

Lavendera and Armorous gathered their kids and got them to leave with the other equines, including the twins.

As the equine herd was gone, Caroline and Padme were both filled with so many emotions running through both of them. That was also when they heard two familiar voices calling their names, and Obi-Wan and Dooku entered the scene.

"Padme, Caroline. Thank the Force you're both alright." Obi-Wan said.

"What has happened here?" Dooku said, noting the mess that was left behind.

"It was incredible!" Padme said. "First there was this baby griffin, and I drew a picture of it."

"But then there was a whole fleet of griffins coming after us!" Caroline said.

The ladies got excited as they told their story about the griffins chasing after them, where they thought they were done for... until they were suddenly in the air.

"And then we were saved by some strange men we saw." Padme said. "They looked like twins."

"Twins?" Obi-Wan gasped. "What did they look like?"

Caroline thought and recalled. "They had brown hair. Sandy blonde, I think. And blue eyes."

"And there were also equines here." Padme said.

"Equines?" Both Obi-Wan and Dooku gasped.

"You saw them? Where?" Dooku said.

"They left. With the twins." Padme said. "Carmine and Anakin."

"Hmm, they couldn't be who I thought then." Obi-Wan said, taking out an old picture. "If I recall correctly, the twins I know of were named Gabriel and Amadeus."

You see, Obi-Wan was part of a group of explorers called the Jedi. And a long time ago, one of their own went missing along with his wife and month-old twins. But, they never returned. No one knew what happened to them, but Obi-Wan had a map of the last known route they'd taken the day they disappeared, and thus began traveling to every island on the prowl for their whereabouts.

"Well, they might've changed their names." Caroline said. "to fit with their tribe."

"She's right. From what we saw, they've become part of the herd." Padme said. "And they had special powers."

"One made plants grow, and the other had such a powerful voice."

The men were confused however as the girls shared more of their story, and they thought maybe it was just trauma talking.

Meanwhile, Queen Reigna had the entire herd gather for an announcement.

"Everyone, we will avoid the strangers." said Reigna. "Do not let them see you and do not seek them out."

"They mean us no harm, Queen Reigna." Anakin said.

"Anakin, I don't know them." Reigna said.

"But Carmine and I do. We've spent time with them."

"So have we, Mom." said Fantasia. "They weren't bad."

"Stay out of this, Fantasia." Reigna said. "You will stay clear of them as well."

"But they're like us." Carmine said.

But Lavendera bit her twins on their tunics and pulled them back.

"Boys, for once, listen to Queen Reigna." she said.

"Why didn't you tell us there were creatures that look like us?" Carmine growled, then bumped into a branch he didn't see and felt his way up another tree, Anakin following.

And the twins sat there, thinking to themselves.
