i know I wrote cargo ships and these are X-Wings, but I really liked this art and it sorta fits.

I woke up early to make sure all the chores were done and everything was ready for when Rey came back home. Though it wouldn't home for much longer. Now that the First Order knew where we lived, we needed to move. Luckily for us, we were already planning to build an amazing new home that would also serve as a school for a new generation of jedi.
I waited outside, watching the sky for Rey's X-Wing. Finally, i saw it in the distance, followed by a whole team of cargo ships. I guess I didn't think this through, we needed a lot of supplies and Rey's ship was small. Lucky for us that the Resistance just happened to be there and that they were willing to spare their ships to assist Rey. They flew closer and Rey landed near the house. The other ships stayed in the air, apparently waiting for instructions on where to land.
Rey jumped out and ran over to me. She wrapped her arms around me in an enormous hug.
"Whoa. You've only been gone for a few days. Have you missed me that much?" I teased, hugging her back. She just smiled and pulled me towards her X-Wing.
"We need to drop off these supplies. I'm going to lead them to the location in my X-Wing. Want to come with me?" She asked. I nodded and hopped in the second seat of the ship. It was a little cramped, but I was fine with that. It was a short trip.
Along the way, Rey told me about her last day on Vexela. It was a relatively calm day for her, without any stress. I'm glad she didn't have to deal with anything that day. I decided to wait to tell her about my adventure until after we had finished unloading all the supplies. I didn't want her to stress over to many things at once.
We got to the site and Rey directed everyone, ordering the stones to be placed in a certain location on the site. Finally, the unloading was completed and Rey and I waved goodbye to the Resistance cargo ships.
Finally, Rey and I were alone. But that also meant I had to tell her the bad news.
"Rey." I said, taking a deep breath. "We need to talk. Something very dramatic happened while you were gone." Then I explained everything to her. She listened in silence, and then thought for a few minutes once I had finished.
"Well, it won't matter in a few months, because we will have a new home, teaching the next generation of jedi. Besides, the resistance is fighting the remaining First Order forces, so they won't last long. Ben, we are safe. You don't need to worry." She said, calm and collected. I admired how in control of herself she was, and aspired to have that kind of control.
We headed home, both of us tired out of our minds. Tomorrow, we would begin working on our new home and school.
Rey came up and hugged me from behind as I was preparing dinner.
"I know you are stressed and worried, I am too. But we can't let that control us. If you ever need to talk, I'm right here you know." I turned around and kissed her, so thankful that she loved me and I was here with her.
These past few days were strange for the both of us, but they were over. Now, we could continue to work together and build Rey's dream.

A/N: I'm sorry this chapter is soooo short!!! Between depression and writer's block, I struggled writing it. And then it's like, a whole week late, but at least I finished it. I promise, next chapter will be longer, better, and on time.
Speaking of next chapter, it's gonna be in Poe's POV! I like writing as him, and I thought that there are some unresolved situations that need addressing. I promise, I will try to get that published on Saturday.
