Thanksgiving was coming, and it was going to be interesting. Hercules wasn't very close with his brother Hugh, who was his last living relative, so he didn't have any plans. John was going to visit family in South Carolina and had invited Alex to come with him. Naturally, the Schyler sisters were going home to spend Thanksgiving with their father, and Burr was invited to meet Theodosia's parents because his parents had also passed on. Lafayette didn't really have plans either until he received a call from a certain Virginian, who was headed back from his vacation in France. Laf answered the call with enthusiasm, smiling into the phone as he exclaimed a greeting.

"Bonjour monsieur Thomas!"

"Hey there Gilbert. How are things?"

   Lafayette slightly cringed at the use of his middle name. Only Thomas referred to him as Gilbert, and sometimes Lafayette would ask him to stop but he never did. It had taken Laf months to have his title change from "Gilly" to "Gilbert", and afterward, he stopped trying to change it any further in fear Thomas would revert back to the former in spite. 

" Everything is wonderful mon ami I-"
Laf was cut off by a knock at the door. "Hold on." He told Thomas.
He quickly opened the door, expecting to see Herc. However, who he saw standing there was none other than Thomas himself. He wore a magenta sweater paired with a nice white scarf and jeans. His hair in its usual fro, as he gripped his black suitcase. His large toothy smile brimming with self-confidence. His body leaned against the door frame, with the phone still pressed to his ear. 

"So Gilly," Thomas said, hanging up the phone."What'd I miss?"

   Yes, I am aware of how short this is but I need to move the story along so that I can give you guys a CHRISTMAS SPECIAL CHAPTER. So I need to throw in a Thomas Jeffershit- I mean Jefferson. It turns out My finals are WAY more important than I realized so all my chapters will be short from here on out.
