Chat's pov:
After Marinette leaves, I am all alone.
Standing in the rain, Not moving a muscle.
I let out a sigh and ask myself.
"What am I going to do?"

I then shake my head and walk to the street, preparing to look for my lady. I can't believe this is happening to us now.
I can believe this is happening to a great girl like Marinette. She shouldn't be in this position. Her parents are mad at her for lying to them, but it's all for a good cause. She's saved all of Paris multiple times. They shouldn't punish her for that. She's even saved their lives!
I don't get why Marinette's parents are being so tough on her. But I understand why she's upset.

I shake my head once more, leaving my thoughts. I have to go find Marinette.

I head down the street, looking for a red spec. Anywhere. But no luck. I search for hours in the rain.

No luck.

Marinette's pov:
I go to the farthest building away from Chat. Or...Adrien....I don't know!
I'm confused...mostly mad.
I don't know where to go anymore. I don't want my parents to punish me. But I don't want Alya asking questions or Adrien pestering me about it. I really do want to tell Alya and Nino. But they'll be upset. That's what scares me the most. Alya is my best friend and this is the biggest secret I've ever kept from her.
And the worst thing about this is...
She is obsessed with Ladybug.
Her whole life is built off of figuring out who Ladybug is. What she doesn't know is that I've been right in front of her eyes this whole time.
I start to cry. I don't want to be ladybug anymore. It's too hard.
Now that I think about it...
Living is too hard.
It's always full of heart break and failure. Filled with people always putting you down. Filled with people always trying to be good enough. Filled with lies.
Filled with tears.
Filled with sorrow.
I scream out into the streets of Paris. The sounds echoing off of the old building walls.
"I'm done!" I scream.
"I'm done being ladybug!"
"I can't do this anymore!"
"I can't live!"
Without warning, I jump off of the building. Looking at the ground.
I close my eyes and brace for impact.
But I am caught.
I open my eyes and see Chat. He's ontop of the building I was just on, my yoyo in his hand.
I forgot to put it up.
He saved me.
"Marinette!" He yells, I see tears in his eyes as he pulls me up.
Once I reach the top of the building, he embraces me. I grab his arm.
I can't breathe.
I panic. He just runs his fingers through my hair.
"You'll be okay. Just calm down. You just got the wind knocked out of you." He explains. I do as told and just lay there in his arms.
After a few seconds of me struggling for air, I am able to breathe again.
Tears roll down my cheeks and he frowns.
"Never. I mean ever. Do that again."
I nod and lay in his arms.
I finally drift off.
Not caring what happened to me.
The sky becomes blurry and I close my eyes.
"I'm sorry..."
