~Marionette pov~

I don't want to go to school today....

Ever since what happened yesterday........I feel super guilty

UGH

"I can't believe that Adrien basically friend zoned me!!" I hissed at myself. I'm so stupid to believe that Adrien would actually like me! Even though......w-we kissed..........

"He kissed me... And it meant nothing to him.... Adrien, Chat noir.... They both just used me." I said as I let my head fall into my hands. Tears streamed slowly down my face. I felt tikki's small hand graze upon my shoulder.

"Its ok Marionette. Don't get too hyped up about it. Remember. Akuma's can still get you." Tikki said. I just groaned. Who cares anyway. Chat Noir probably wouldn't even care.

He would probably be to busy flirting with some other girl right across the street. I clenched my fists and stood up.

I ran to my bathroom and looked into the mirror.

"Ugly... Just plain ugly." Maybe that's why Adrien---

Wait what am I saying.

I shook my head and looked in the mirror again. My eyes were red from crying all night... And this morning. And there was also dark bags underneath it. My hair is all tattered up. So I'm not even going to bother redoing my pigtails.... I'm just going to leave it down for today. I run back to my room and get changed. The usual.

I looked at the time... I guess I'm going to be late again..

Tikki flew in front of me.

I can tell she's worrying about me. "I'm fine tikki" I say groggily.

".....everything is going to be fine! You can still make it up for Adrien. You know become more close with him" she explains. I just shook my head and whispered.

"It doesn't work like that tikki"

HAWK MOTH POV

"yes.... I can feel your sadness... Your giving up on hope. I can sense your tensions and your stress levels going high...." I smirked and an opening door led to the only light source in the dark room.

As the light shines in, I am surrounded with white, bright, butterflies.

I laughed.

"Marionette......... Your time is now."

Marionette POV

I walked slowly down the streets. And surprisingly I made it on time.... Early actually. "Wha---"

"I maybe set the time later when you were getting ready so you could get to school on time" I heard tikki say in my pockets.

I gave her a weak smile and closed my purse. I stared at the ground until I bumped into someone.

I heard myself yelp.

I look up and see Chloe In front of me. She gave me a death glare.

"Watch where your going! You could've ruin my clothes with those hideous touch of yours." She says sashays away with Sabrina following behind. i just glared at her while she walks. I hate her guts. I started walking to the courtyard since i'm only 10 minutes early.  I sat down behind a tree and let my wavy hair cover my face. I brought my knees to my chest and sighed...... Im never going to survive 9th grade.

I heard people talking and laughing and i stood up to see who the group was. I saw Alya talking to Nino and Alix is talking to Nathaniel. A particular person caught my eye as i saw Adrien sitting on a bench. I freeze up and remember last night. My expression was now showing guilt and sadness. Just to think about his admiration when i played along with his pun game......And he made a whole dinner date....for me.

And then he said that we were only good friends. i didnt realize that i kept staring at him until he met my gaze. I blush and walked away....... and i told him to leave..........and his hurt expression. I heard Adrien call my name. I just frowned and walked away faster, avoiding everyone that looked at me. I ran out of the school yards and hid in a dark alley way.... i looked at the coner and checked to see if Adrien was near. i think i lost him.

i guess no school today............... I opened my purse and let tikki out. Tikki gave me a concerned look.

"You can't do this to yourself Marionette." Tikki said. i just sighed and shook my head. "You dont get it Tikki, im heartbroken.....I just need some time..." I gave Tiiki a weak smile....

Tikki just gave me a pat on the back and smiled. "You wanna transform?" She asked. I smiled brightly and shook my head yes.

"Spots on tikki!!!* I said and my favorite thing ever happened. turning into my alter ego........

I thought everything was going to be better.......but everything still feels the same.., I still feel heartbroken.....

So tell me are we wasting 

talking on a broken line

telling you i, havent seen your face in ages

I feel like we're as close as strangers

I played the song that mostly relates to my life right now and sat on top of a rooftop..... "Why does everything have to be so difficult..." 

Something catches my eye.

I see a black spot flying towards me. It goes to my earrings and i hear a dark menacing voice in my mind. My face shades as this person talks. 

"I can feel your sadness cry out to me, Ladybug........... I can make it all go away....... All i need in return is your miraculous..

and Chat Noir's too"

I mumbled out an agreement and i feel my self transform into my new self...

but in the distance, i hear tikki's cries and her calling my name Marionette.

I'm no longer that silly, clumsy, foolish girl..

ADREINS POV

I walked back to school when Marionette ran away......I tried chasing her.....but she was too fast.....

I felt a pair of hands forcefully shake me. "A-aa-aLYA!! What are you d-d-d-d-d-doing" I try to speak. I look at Alya's face and saw her fuming with anger.

"WHAT.DID.YOU.DO.TO.MARIONETTE." she practically screamed at me. I stopped her from shaking me anymore and i felt confused and hurt. "I dont know.. why dont you ask her since she s obviously mad at me for no stupid reason!" I say a little bit too loud. Alya gave me a glare. "Mari does not get mad at one person for no reason. so let me ask again...... What did you say to Marionette." She asked again. To keep me from losing my cool, i just shrugged. I decided to then give her the truth because yu can see smoke coming out of her ears.

"Ok ok.. I just invited to a dinner thing and uh she was suprised and thanked me. So i just said thats what good friends are for and then she got all mad and told me that i needed to leave because we were on her rooftop....uh dont ask why and she got all hurt and yeah.. idk why though" I said leaving out the alter ego heroic stuff. Alya just faced palmed herself and put her hands on my shoulder.

"You are the dumbest boy that i have evr known. YOU DONT SAY THAT TO A GIRL WHO HAS THE BIGGEST CRUSH ON YOU OMG BOY IMA SLAP YOUR FACE." SHe said to me.............wait......Marionette has a crush on me???!!!

I am the dumbest boy.

now shes all alone suffering while i------

Then i saw a person jump down behind Alya with .........

"Ladybug....."

I wont give up. 

Even if it hurts so much. 

Every night, Im losing you in a thousand faces.

Now it feels we're close as strangers.
