She is silent waiting for everyone to settle down.
She had asked them to join her and pooja in their room.

Ud - what is the matter.... Naina.... Ye urgent meeting kyun bulai hai.

Ud asked on behalf of everyone else.

Naina - I have something to tell you people

This alert alekh and he tried to think of all the possibilities..... Of the things she might want to talk about.

Huda and pooja who were kind of relaxed up till now .... Tensed their posture
And Ali is standing with his hands folded....

Ali - sab khairiyat to hai na
Ap pareshan lag rahi hain

Naina bit her lower lip in nervousness....and fidgeted with her fingers

" Before huda showed up
Something happened in the trigger security mission which I never told anybody"
She gave a start

And alekh widened his eyes
Is she really gonna tell that he wondered and prayed that she better doesn't.

And everyone is attentive now.....

"We all had been put to test....
And my test was to deal with the fact that rajveer sir was the one who shot my brother...."

But she has already made up her mind.

And this low-key exchange didn't went unnoticed by huda....

Ud was startled and so was everyone else"

"I tried to kill rajveer sir
I shot him point blank"
There it was said finally
And she felt relieved

While everyone else was on urge.....
And alekh gasped in panic
She could have at least discussed this with him

Pooja - this can't be true
Tu kya bol rahi hai

Huda - par sir ne to bola tha ke dr mishra ne....
He tried to make sense and then he remembered that how naina was indifferent to rajveer sir and the fact that he is injured so bad....

Her disinterest in comforting him.... It all adds up now.

Pooja - tu aisa kaise kar sakti hai.....
Naina tu....

"Yedi hai kya tu..... Koi matlab hai ye sab karke "
Alekh interrupted in between ... Scolding naina
While she sat with her head down

"Tujhe pata tha na Qaidi.....
Tujhe to waise bhi har bat pata hoti hai.."
Huda gave sarcastic remark

"Dekh huda"
Alekh came with a come back when ud tried to jump in

"Shut up all of you...."
He yelled

"Can we please not judge her and let her complete....
Can't you all see how miserable she already is"

Puja and huda tried to get hold of themselves.
While Ali is silently analysing everything, careful about what to say in such a sensitive situation.

Ud - naina
Why are you telling us all this now
After months....
He asked politely

And naina raised her head to see him

"I had to......
I wanted you all to know from me...
Because I already had told brigadier chandok everything.
And he will be taking action anytime soon."

She said and felt light. More now. It feels like some more burden has been off her chest. She'd breathe more now.

But Everyone gasped and sighed at the same time....
Either rising from their seats or taking a step towards her.

"Have you totally lost it"
Ud shouted this time

"You do know it's a criminal offence....
Apne report kaise kar diya..."
He panicked

"Haye rabba naina....
Humse puch to leti ek bar"
Pooja cried

"Mujhe to ye samajh nahi aa raha ke tu chahti kya hai....
Sir ne tujhe bacha liya tha na....
Jab unhone complaint nahi ki to ....."
Huda snapped out..... feeling so frustrated on her

"Dil kar raha hai ke kheech ke lafa Maru tujh ko.....
Tereko academy se nikalna tha to aise hi chali jati na
Abhi tereko malum hai ye log kya karenge tere sath."

"Ab kuch bolegi.....
Ya phir"
Pooja was about to scold further when naina couldn't hold back her tears

And with this pooja rushed towards her to hug her tight.....
Huda and alekh got soft too.

Ali and ud being the sensible one in situations like this took the charge.

Pooja made everyone leave the room
Saying that they will discuss the matter tomorrow.....
She sat there holding Naina's hands....

She had once left her friend when she was in trouble
She will not repeat the mistake this time.
Whatever naina will be facing ahead
This time her friends will be there.

She looked at her. Naina' eyes red and tears flowing. Her sudden urge of questioning her decision died. But a lingering thought remained in her heart why now....

'Naina. Dont cry.' Pooja' tried to console her. The least she could do. She had left her before. But tonight she could not let her be alone. Not again.

Naina didnt feel how wet her eyes were. She didnt feel an ounce of guilt for ruining her academic career. In fact she was waiting for her punishment. She wanted a lifetime of banishment from this academy for she could never become a true soldier. Even when she had a mentor like him.

And then her heart ached. Realizing how hurt he would have been when she had defied him, behaved badly with him. She had crossed lines. She has stopped addressing him as her teacher. If this was not her lowest then nothing could be. Trying to kill her mentor was something else but not giving her teacher respect because she was angry was a straight moronic act. Act which she never imagined she would do. What kind of student was she! Rajveer sir was right. She was not suited for this uniform.

Her mistakes flashed in front of her in a moment. All of them...many of them. A huge number. And it pained like hell when she understood how her actions had been. Totally childish and ungrateful.

'I dont deserve to be a soldier. Pooja. Rajveer sir sahi kahte he. I wasted this academy' precious time and resources.and thats why I'd be expelled from this academy.' Her voice so low almost inaudible to Pooja who was taken aback with her words.

'Naina..Pagal he kya?

What You reported to Brigadier Chandok isnt some tiny miny mistake. You had shot your senior. Tujhe pata bhi he tune kya kiya he? Its a crime. You will not only be expelled but thrown to a jail also. Ye kya kiya tune Naina. Aur kya soch kar kiya?'

But she didnt reply. What was she thinking? Hell....so many things. Sooo many things. And none of them was alien to Rajveer sir. She had realized that life time of apology would not even matter. She had wronged him in many ways and perhaps this was how she was meant to be punished. For rajveer sir will never punish her. He would take a tour to hell for her and will return wishing her betterment. This is how great he is. So for her mistakes she would be punished if not by him then someone who'd atleast give her a tough sentence.

She looked at pooja and gave her a weak smile. Perhaps she will understand. Perhaps she will not. Perhaps no one will. But it doesn't matter. Karma is a bitch and it has to bit her.
