The Fairytale Wedding

Prachi sits in a beautifully decorated room with a large mirror framed by jasmine flowers. Her bridal lehenga is a masterpiece—deep maroon with golden embroidery, a modern twist to a traditional design. A veil adorned with the engraving "PRANBIR" in shimmering gold thread lies delicately over her head, signifying their eternal bond.

(Start from Mom's Part)

Chanda mere chanda

Tujhe kaise main yeh samjhaon

(Moon oh my moon

How can I make you understand)

Sahana the sherni, adjusts Prachi's jewelry. She's wearing a mint-green lehenga, a perfect contrast to Prachi's ensemble.

Sahana: (Playfully) "Prachi, tu toh literally ek pari lag rahi hai! Lekin sun, tujhe lagta hai Ranbir itna patience rakhega tujhe wait karne ke liye? Bechara bas mandap mein aake faint na ho jaaye(Prachi, you really look like an angel! But listen, do you think Ranbir will be patient enough to wait for you? Poor guy should not faint after coming to the pavilion.)"

Prachi: (Laughing nervously)"Sahana, bas kar! Mera tension already sky-high hai. Lagta hai main chhup jaoon sab ke saamne(Sahana, stop it! My stress is already sky high. I feel like I should remain silent in front of everyone!)"

Mujhe lagti hai tu kitni pyari re

Mujhe lagti hai tu kitni pyari re

(How adorable you are to me

How adorable you are to me)

Prachi's parents, Surya and Bhoomi, enter, both visibly emotional. Bhoomi hugs her tightly.

Bhoomi: (Tearing up) "Humari chhoti Prachi itni badi ho gayi... aur itni sundar dulhan ban gayi(Our little Prachi has grown so much... and become such a beautiful bride!)"

O khushiyan jitni hai

Sab dhoondh dhoondh ke laon

Teri doli ke sang kardon sari re

Teri doli ke sang kardon sari re

(All the happiness

I'll find it and get it

I'll put it in your wedding palanquin

I'll put it in your wedding palanquin)

Surya: (Cheerfully wiping his tears) "Arre, meri princess toh hamesha sundar thi! Prachi, beta, aaj tu jitni khush lag rahi hai, hum bhi utne hi proud hain (Hey, my princess was always beautiful! Prachi, daughter, as happy as you look today, we too are equally proud.)"

The camera pans to Prachi's veil as Bhoomi adjusts it. The engraved "PRANBIR" glows subtly under the light, symbolizing love and destiny.

Outside, Ranbir's baraat is nothing short of grand. He arrives on a white horse, wearing an ivory sherwani with emerald accents, exuding royalty. Aryan, who has taken up the role of Prachi's brother, comes to greet him.

Aryan: (Jokingly) "Ranbir, tujhe toh sirf ladki ki family ka dar hai. Mere saamne toh aankhon mein sharam tak nahi hai(Ranbir, you are only afraid of the girl's family. There is not even shyness in your eyes in front of me!)"

Tu joh aayi sajke

Mehandi rajke

Chal bajke oh soniye

Dil kitno ka khaye dhajke oh soniye

(Hey ...

When you came dressed up

With decorated henna

Be careful my beloved

So many hearts are shaking my beloved)

Ranbir: (Smirking) "Main dulha hoon, bhai! Dulha ko koi nahi rok sakta—na tum, na Prachi ke papa(I am the groom, brother! No one can stop the groom – not you, not Prachi's father!)"

The drummers beat their dhols, and Ranbir's family dances with exuberance.

Hey ...

Jind maahi ve

Soni soni re aaja maahi ve

Everybody sing

Soni soni re aaja maahi ve

(You're my sweetheart

Beautiful sweetheart come to me

Everybody sing

Beautiful sweetheart come to me)

The venue is a dreamy blend of modern and traditional aesthetics. An open mandap surrounded by water reflects the golden lights strung above.

As the music swells, Prachi makes her grand entrance. She walks under a phoolon ki chaadar carried by Aryan and three cousins.

The veil, with "PRANBIR" shining softly, flows gracefully, catching everyone's attention. Ranbir looks at her, visibly awestruck.

Ranbir (to himself): "Yeh ladki toh literally meri sapno ki rani hai... yaar, kaise explain karoon ki main kitna lucky hoon(This girl is literally my dream queen... man, how can I explain how lucky I am!)"

Sahana whispers to Prachi as they approach the mandap.

Sahana: "Dekha? Ranbir ke expressions kitne filmy hain. Lagta hai aaj bhi dil ki baat bolne se dar raha hai(See? Ranbir's expressions are so filmy. It seems that even today he is afraid afraid to speak his heart!)"

Prachi blushes as she steals a glance at Ranbir.

The atmosphere was heavy with emotions as the most sacred rituals of the wedding began. The mandap was glowing with golden lights, fresh marigold garlands hanging all around. The flames of the havan kund flickered gently as if witnessing the union of two souls. Everyone sat in pin-drop silence, their eyes glued to Prachi and Ranbir, who were seated side by side.

Pandit Ji: (calmly reciting the mantras) "Ab dulha apni dulhan ke maang mein sindoor bhar kar apni patni ko apna banayega(Now the groom will make his wife his own by filling vermillion in the hairline of his bride...)"

Ranbir glanced at Prachi—his bride—who sat with her head slightly bowed, her cheeks flushed under the veil embroidered with 'PRANBIR'. The sound of the mantras echoed softly, but for Ranbir, it felt like time stood still. His hands trembled slightly as he picked up the small pinch of vermillion (sindoor) in between his fingers.

As Ranbir leaned closer to apply the sindoor, Prachi's eyes lifted just slightly to meet his. Her brown eyes shimmered with tears—tears of love, happiness, and the realization of this life-changing moment.

Ranbir (softly whispers): "Prachi... aaj se tum meri ho... sirf meri(Prachi... from today you are mine... only mine.)"

His voice cracked slightly, filled with overwhelming emotions. Slowly, gently, he placed the sindoor on her forehead, the red mark glowing against her skin like a symbol of their forever bond.

A soft gasp echoed from the family watching, and Bhoomi, Prachi's mother, wiped a tear of joy. Aryan whispered to Sahana.

Aryan: "Dekha tu ne? Bhai kitna emotional ho gaya hai(Did you see? Brother, he has become so emotional...)"

Sahana: (smiling) "Toh kya hua? It's so sweet yaar. Dekh Prachi kitni khush hai(So what happened? It's so sweet man. See how happy Prachi is.)"

The Pandit ji now handed Ranbir the mangalsutra, a delicate chain with tiny black beads and gold pieces. It shined brightly in the fire's light, a sacred thread representing protection and love.

Pandit Ji: "Ab dulha dulhan ke gale mein mangalsutra pehna kar is pavitra rishte ko sampoorn karega(Now the groom will complete this sacred relationship by wearing mangalsutra around the neck of the bride.)

Ranbir, still holding onto his emotions, looked at Prachi with so much love that the entire mandap seemed to glow brighter. He gently leaned forward and tied the mangalsutra around her neck. As his fingers brushed against her skin, Prachi closed her eyes for a second, feeling the depth of their connection.

Ranbir (softly murmurs): "Yeh rishta sirf janmo ka nahi hai, Prachi... yeh har pal ke liye hai(This relationship is not just of lifetimes Prachi...it is of every moment.)"

Prachi opened her eyes, her smile soft and shy but filled with immense love.

Prachi: (whispers back) "Aur yeh sindoor aur mangalsutra meri zindagi ka sabse bada gehna hai, Ranbir(And this vermilion and mangalsutra are the biggest jewels of my life, Ranbir.)"

After the sindoor and mangulsutra, the varmala ceremony begins. The family chants teasingly, making it a fun competition.

Aryan (lifting Ranbir): "Prachi, agar tujhe yeh varmala daalni hai, toh kuch mehnat karni padegi(Prachi, if you want to wear this garland, you will have to do some hard work!)"

Tere maathe jhumar damke

Tere kaanon baali chamke hai re

Maahi ve

Hai ... tere haathon kangana khanke

Tere pairon payal chanke hai re

(On your forehead a chandelier tinkles

In your ears the earrings shine

My sweetheart

Hey ... in your hand the bangles jingle

In your feet the anklets chime)

Sahana joins in to lift Prachi, ensuring it's a fair game. The crowd cheers and laughs as Prachi finally places the garland on Ranbir.

Ranbir: (Winking at Prachi) "Jeeta toh main hoon, lekin aaj tumhari khushi ke liye haarna bhi special lagta hai(I have won, but today even losing for your happiness feels special.)"

Maahi ve

Nainon se bole rabba rabba

Mann mein dole rabba rabba

Amrit ghole rabba rabba

Oh soniye

(My sweetheart

Oh lord you speak with your eyes

Oh lord you dance in my heart

Oh lord you mix nectar

You my beloved)

The priest begins chanting as the couple starts their saat phere. Each vow is highlighted with soft lighting and romantic music.

Ranbir (during the 4th phera): "Prachi, main wada karta hoon ki har subah tumhari smile se shuru karunga, aur tumhari har takleef ko apna samjhoonga(Prachi, I promise that I will start every morning with your smile, and consider every problem of yours as mine.)"

Prachi (during the 7th phera): "Main wada karti hoon ki har safar mein tumhara saath dungi, chahe woh khushi ho ya mushkil(I promise that I will support you in every journey, whether it is happy or difficult.)"

The moment is heartfelt, with their families teary-eyed yet joyous.

Prachi's bidaai is filled with mixed emotions. Bhoomi sobs, clutching her daughter, while Surya tries to stay strong. Aryan, as her "brother," steps in to comfort her.

Aryan: "Prachi, mat sochna ki main tujhe miss karunga... tumhara Ranbir handle kar lena kaafi mushkil kaam hai(Prachi, don't think that I will miss you... handling your Ranbir is a very difficult task!)"

Prachi (laughing through her tears): "Tu sach mein best bhai hai, Aryan. Lekin Ranbir ko adjust karne ki zarurat nahi padegi—woh perfect hai(You are really the best brother, Aryan. But Ranbir won't need to adjust—he's perfect!)"

Ranbir takes Prachi's hand, promising her parents to always keep her happy.

Ranbir: (Earnestly)"Surya uncle, Bhoomi aunty, mujhe apna beta samajhiye. Main Prachi ki khushi meri zimmedari banake le jaa raha hoon(Surya uncle, Bhoomi aunty, consider me your son. I am taking Prachi's happiness as my responsibility.)"

The evening concludes with a glamorous reception. Ranbir and Prachi enter hand-in-hand, surrounded by sparklers. The backdrop reads "Forever Pranbir" in shimmering lights.

Jind maahi ve

Jind maahi ve

Jind maahi ve

Soni soni re aaja maahi ve

Everybody sing

(You're my sweetheart

You're my sweetheart

You're my sweetheart

Beautiful sweetheart come to me

Everybody sing)

The couple shares a slow dance, lost in their own world. Meanwhile, Sahana notices Aryan standing beside the sofa, looking at her.

Sahana (playfully): "Kya baat hai, Aryan? Aise ghur rahe ho jaise mandap mein mujhse shaadi karni hai(What's the matter, Aryan? You are staring as if you want to marry me in the pavilion!)"

Aryan:(Caught off-guard) "Tumhare jokes ko ignore karna mushkil hai, Sahana. Tumhe khud nahi pata ki tum kitni special ho(It's hard to ignore your jokes, Sahana. You don't know how special you are.)"

Soni soni re aaja maahi ve

Jind maahi ve

Soni soni re aaja maahi ve

(Beautiful sweetheart come to me

You're my sweetheart

Beautiful sweetheart come to me)

The scene ends with laughter, music, and a promise of new beginnings for everyone involved.

Everybody sing

Soni soni re aaja maahi ve

(Everybody sing

Beautiful sweetheart come to me)
