In Earth, realities were the only other earth reality was destroyed not from 10,000 nukes but from just 25 tactical strikes against what was thought of as the threat. They had to the AI had reached a point that they started taking over community's. First, it was wispers and roumers of humans being replaced. By synthetic humans, but to the leaders of the world, it was like an infection. It began with people acting out. Being strange and others attacking each other.

The tech had advanced so fast in 3 yesrs that there was no way to tell who was who. Or evan, who was  still with himanity. The tactical strikes they called them were to contain some kind of infection, but really, they were to destroy and decintagate mixed with EMPs that shut down any electronic entitys near by. But the 100 inpact zones lost power. And all things in a 300klm radius were affected.

They called it the purge, but many believed that the impact zones had nothing wrong with them, but after the first few weeks, the radiation was apparent that nobody who was near the zones survived. After 5 years, the leaders of the world fell apart due to the rise in riots and the collapse of the population was what caused the extinction of the human race, but as mutation started to form in those who could not help but eat, and walk across the world.

After the first 12 months, the fallout spread across the globe, and in 18 months, all life was affected. They had to unite or die. The human race was at the end of its shot life on earth. But many who prepared and stayed underground, with thick steel and concreet walls , HEPFA filtration systems were what saved most people who are live today, and after their technology broke down. And fell appart on the surface. Many who lived underground where saved from the wasteland many come to know.

But with protection come frail, and unsafe health , ecosystems underground wheare good yes, but they had not prapared for the long term destructioof earths surface. And many who lived above ground gained some sort of protection against the radiation and toxic particles that filled the air, caused a M2 mutation and twisting if the DNA cascaded some group's of life, into the sustainable growth of this M2 Mutation that also granted those who survived special abilitys and resistance that those underground converted.

They began abducting those who survived in the wastelands for experimentation they called it adapting and Research. But those who where taken become somthing elce, there experiment made them evolve. Made them change, wether it was for the better of worse. They come to over come these death trates. The M2 and then M3 and M4 mutation made those with it feel like they where going to die. And so they had to do things other people dident.

The rise of the mutations where partly from there DNA exploitation but the devastating blow against the super intelligence was enough to wipe them out, or thats what the leaders think.
