Nya doesn't know understand how this mission went so wrong.  One minute they were investigating a robbery at the Ninjago bank and the next, there was a hostage situation and something was interupting their radio signals.  They had all split up shortly after arriving to check out the situation.  No radios, no contacting anyone.  She doesn't know where anyone is.  She heard gun shots a few minutes ago which worried her.  What if someone was hurt?

Somehow, Nya found herself in the vents.  She was crawling through trying to find someway that she could maybe see what's going on...or find a way out.  A way out would be nice.

As she was crawling, she crawled over a part in the vent that wasn't very secure and fell right through.  That was not one of her finest moments.  Luckily, it didn't appear as though she fell where the bad guys were.

"Nya?"  Nya quickly raised her head and saw Jay was there.  "I heard something and thought that it might be one of the bad guys," he said as he helped her up.

"Nope," she replied.  "It was just me, but you better not mention one word of this to Kai.  I'll never hear the end of it."

"Don't worry.  He doesn't need to know.  I mean Kai only knows half the times I make a fool of myself."

They both suddenly heard somebody heading towards them.  Nya looked around and figured out that they were in the back where all the big safes were.  This was probably the big target of the robbers.  Of course, they would want the big payday.  Why they weren't back here already Nya didn't know.  Nya still didn't know where the others were.  Jay grabbed her arm and took her over to a corner where the was a part of the wall they could hide behind.  They know these guys have guns, so they have to be careful in their attack plan.

Jay and Nya tried to be as still and quiet as possible, but Jay noticed the space was very big and one of Nya's legs was exposed.  He put his arms around Nya and pulled her as close as possible.  Unfortunately, there was a brushing sound as he did that.  Nya really hoped that they didn't hear that.

"Look over here!" they heard one of the men say.  Nya silently cursed to herself.  Of course they would have bad luck.  Nya did not want to die in a bank, but she was glad that Jay was with her.  She wouldn't want anyone else to be with her right now.

"Forget about what you heard," another man said.  "We have a job to do."

"But what if it's the ninja?" a third said.  "We know they're two still around here somewhere.  We only caught four."

"They're not our main priority," the second man replied.  "Our boss wants the money.  We're lucky that he had some vengestone that made restraining those four ninja easy."

Nya couldn't believe it.  Their boss has vengestone and he captured the others.  It was up to her and Jay now to save everyone.  They know now that there are at least three people with guns by the safes and who knows how many with the hostages.  They probably have a few just guarding the others.  They need to stop these guys.  She looked back at Jay who was still holding her.  She saw the look in his eyes and knew he was planning something.  He leaned in and kissed her as he raised one of his hands with sparks dancing between his fingers.  He shot a bolt of lightning at the lights which caused all of the lights to go out in the room leaving them in complete darkness.  Jay and Nya took advantage of the opportunity and started taking out all of the bad guys there.  When the emergency lights came on, the two lovers were the only ones left standing.

"Good idea, Jay," Nya said afterwards.

"I can have good idea sometimes," Jay told her defensively.

"Believe me, I know and obviously you made it longer than the others."

"Is that really difficult sometimes?"

"I guess not.  Are we really the best choice to protect Ninjago?"

"Do you see any better options?"

"No.  On a more serious note, how are we going to save the others and the hostages?"

"We'll figure it out.  I mean we took out three of them all by ourselves."

Jay shrugged.  "I guess you're right."  The two of them quietly snuck around and found the main part of the bank where the bank tellers help all the customers.  They hid behind a desk and saw the hostages with only 1 guy guarding them and the other ninja with vengestone cuffs on and 3 guys guarding them.  They could see there was blood on Cole's gi and hoped that it wasn't too serious.  There was 1 other guy who walked out of the back.  It looked like he probably came back from where Jay and Nya were.

"Find the two ninja!" the man said to one of the men surrounding the four ninja.  "We have three men down because of them!  Find them!"

"Do you want to try that blackout thing again?" Nya asked.

"I could, but it won't be completely dark due to the windows," Jay said.

"That could disorient them long enough for us to start taking them down."

"OK, but why don't you get a bit closer to the door.  I'll lure them towards me when I do it."

Nya nodded.  "Just be careful."  She gave him a quick peck on the lips and started heading closer to the door.  She looked back just as Jay rose his hand and shot a lightning bolt at the lights and they went out instantly.  All of them men started heading towards Jay instantly and Nya used her water powers to blast the guys back into a wall.  All of their guns fell to the floor, but Nya kept using her powers to keep them against the wall.

Jay walked up to them and grabbed the keys for the vengestone cuffs from the boss's pocket.  "Thank you," he said and walked over to the other ninja and began unlocking their cuffs.

Meanwhile, Nya kicked the guns away and walked towards the bad guys, releasing them from her water hold.  "All of you are free to go," she told the hostages while grabbing the boss and pulling him to his feet.

"Cole, are you alright?" Jay asked as he helped them.

"Yeah, it just grazed my arm," Cole replied.

"Thanks for the save guys," Lloyd said as the police finally showed up.  Where were they 20 minutes ago?  Kai and Zane went out to fill them in on what happened before they arrested the bad guys.  Lloyd took the boss from Nya and he and Cole took the bad guys out to the police officers while Nya walked over to Jay.

"Looks like we did pretty good," Jay said.

"Yeah," Nya agreed.  "We make a good team."

"I like to think so."  They started to lean in to kiss when they heard someone clearing their throat.

"Can you not do that here?"  They both looked over to the door and saw Kai standing there.  Looks like they were busted.  They would just have to save it for when they got back to the monastery.
