When Nya uncharacteristically trips, falls and face plants during a routine mission, everyone notices.

She's been acting strangely lately—quieter than usual and more withdrawn from her teammates. More emotional than usual. They decide to take action by taking their friend out for some much-needed fun in hopes that it'll get her mind off whatever is bothering her. It's a nice momentary distraction, but it doesn't last long.

Nya had always thought herself capable of anything when it came to missions in Ninjago or beyond but this? This was something else entirely.

"Jay, I feel off."

Jay casually side-eyes her. "I've noticed."

"And what does that mean?" Nya huffs, crossing her arms.

"Gee, I don't know, how about yesterday when Kai asked you to pass the salt and you burst into tears."

Nya purses her lips. "That was— I—"

"Or how about this one? Yesterday when I went to give you a hug, you wigged out and said that we are not doing enough to care for all the strays in Ninjago City."

"Well, that's—"

Nya pauses and chews the inside of her mouth, glancing up at Jay, who is starting at her expectantly.

"What's wrong with me?" She bursts out, so suddenly and so forcefully that even she takes a step back.

Jay steps into her space and grabs her hand before she can even protest. He guides her hand to her stomach and holds it there.

"Nothing is wrong Nya. We are growing as a family. Stop trying to deny it. I know it, you know it, I think the others are catching on. Time to confirm it."

Her lip quivers and she wants to run and hide, wants to remove herself from this challenge that she feels like she is failing, wants to give up because this is something new that is beyond her control.

It's as if Jay can sense her desire to bolt, because his grip tightens and his smile is instant and bright, casting out all her fears and reservations.

"No matter what happens, we are in this together."
