Speckles watched as Cora was laying on the ground, with her leg broken, there was no escape. It was either Cora or Speckles. But it can't be both. Death wanted to take one of them. Death didn't care which one he took, but he wanted one of them.
   "Get away from her!" Speckles shouted angrily, "You ugly, fat, monstrous beast!"
   The white beast looked at Speckles for a second. Then he sprinted towards him and grabbed ahold of him with his jaws. The force of his jaws was strong and it hurt. The white beast's teeth dug into Speckles skin, causing great pain. Then the white beast threw him up in the air causing him to drop down and hit the snow breaking his arm. Speckles looked up to see the huge foot of the white beast stepping on him. Then it scratched him with one of it's long arms. Speckles would normally scream in pain but he was too weak to even cry. The pain throbbed as he watched the dinosaur walk away. He had been left for the dead. He tried with all his night to keep his eyes open, but Speckles was too weak. His eyes shut as he went unconscious as he bleed and bleed, turning the snow red with his own blood.
   Many hours later he felt something familiar lay on him. He felt a warm body hug him tight to try to keep him warm. Their feathers brushed against him as the body tried to stop the bleeding. He felt safe, but his pain was still throbbing. He couldn't feel his arm anymore, for it was so painful that it became numb. He slightly opened his eyes to see Cora laying on him, trying to keep him alive. Her eyes filled with tears, as she hugged Speckles not caring about her own pain. She must've crawled for hours in the freezing snowy winds. He then fell unconscious again as he dreamt of them together. Cora tried to stay awake, but she too fell unconscious.
   Then a great being picked them up, but this being's jaws were gentle and soft. The dinosaur then took them back to the pack. When she arrived, all the Utahraptors crowded around the dinosaur as they saw the unconscious bodies in her mouth. She gently lay them down in a cave next to another Utahraptor who was hurt but conscious. The dinosaur known as Lava then curled up next to them to try and keep them warm.
