"I just can't," Cora's mother said, tearing, "She's my baby, I can't lose her again,"
"Lava can find them," Rain assured her, brushing his milky white feathers against her in a comforting gesture. "Lava will find them. Besides, it's only been a few hours."
"No. I wanna come with her," she said as she ran into the forest.
Rain sighed in exhaustion, beginning to jog after her. They would find them.

A few hours later, Speckles woke up to the sound of loud footsteps. He looked to his left and saw Cora, petrified with fear. Her wide hazel eyes stared at the entrance of the cave. He looked out there too and saw enormous dinosaur feet. They were dark grey with sharp black toe nails. He crawled back towards Cora to comfort her.
"This thing," she paused, "Has been stomping around the area for who knows how long."
"It's okay," He said, watching her breath heavily, "Just don't move a muscle,"
The huge dinosaur stopped right in front of the cave and stood there. It then bent down and reached inside the cave grabbing both of them in it's clutches. They screamed in horror knowing their fate. They were then thrown onto the ground. They looked up to see Lava standing there, kind of angry, kind of not.
"Now what are you two doing out here?" Lava asked.
"Speckles," Cora began still petrified at the surprise.
"I wanted to go home!" Speckles blurted out.
"But this is home," Lava replied, "With us,"
"No. I wanna go back to where I belong," he said as he tried to run off into the forest. Lava lifted him before he could.
     "Speckles," Lava said as she dropped him on the ground, "It's not safe out there. You'll never survive on your own,"
    "That's why he has me,"Cora said as she and Speckles ran until they disappeared into the forest. Lava then sighed and walked after them to make sure they don't get themselves killed.
"Wait! Wait!" Rain called running after Cora's mother followed by the pack, "You can't survive on your own!"
"Yes I can!" She said as she skidded to a stop, "I am a great hunter and I have a good build. Now back off," She warned. Rains feathers rose in warning as he let out a low growl.
"No, not with that spinosaurus out there," he stated.
"I thought you slashed out its eyes,"
"It learned to rely on its other senses," Rain said, "You'll get eaten alive if you stay out there alone,"
"Fine," she said as she followed the rest of the pack as they began the search for Cora and Speckles.
