A few weeks later, Speckles has fully healed from his wounds. Over this time he has hit a growth spurt and has grown a few more feet and is now just a little more than three feet smaller than Rain. He has become a skilled hunter and can easily kill a young iguanadon. Although Cora is better at speed and agility, Speckles has his strength in his bite and his ability to kill. However, he still hasn't healed mentally. Almost every night he either has nightmares about the incident, or his family that he has lost about five years ago. He remembers vividly, about the time when his family was ripped to pieces by the Rex as his eyes burned in anger. He sometimes wakes up screaming or crying from the nightmares.
   One early morning Cora was awake sitting against a wall while a few Utahraptors and Speckles slept. She was sitting there daydreaming of things that go beyond reality. Al of a sudden, she was woken up from her day dream by Speckles, tearing in his sleep. Cora got up from her spot and walked over to him. She nudged him a few times which instantly woke him. He looked around, startled then saw Cora and relaxed.
  "You okay?" Cora asked.
  "Yes I'm fine," he replied as he got up. He then remembered something from a dream he had the night before. It was of Cora and Speckles. They were leaders in a pack, but not this one. He cocked his head at the thought as Cora looked at him confused.
  "You sure?"
  "Yes I'm fine Cora," Speckles said as he began walking out of the cave.
  "Speckles?" Cora asked as she followed Speckles as he walked farther and farther from the cave, "Where are you going?"
  Speckles turned towards her with a slight smile on his face, "Home."
  Speckles continued walking into the forest followed by Cora.
  "What do you mean home?" Cora asked confused, "This is home."
  "I'm going back to my real home. My birth place," Speckles said as he began running through the forest. He missed the cool breeze that they would get there and the lake on the ledge. He loved the view of the mountains and the forest. He loved everything about it. He ran as quickly as he could to get back to the ledge while Cora followed him.
  Ten hours had passed since they first left. They had been walking almost non stop. Speckles was to anxious to be tired. He just wanted to get back home.
  "Speckles," Cora said as she looked up seeing the sun resting on the horizon, "I think we should hit the hay,"
  "Okay. But first we must find a cave," Speckles said as he continued walking. He looked around to see if he could find a place when a familiar cave caught his eye. He walked towards it and realized that it was the place that he and Cora first met. He instantly was flooded with a bunch of memories. He began remembering her smaller build with sticky legs and brown feathers, lighter than they are now. Her once green eyes stared at him in curiosity, but now they are hazel. He remembers him sleeping when Cora nudged him to wake up.
  "Speckles? Are gonna go in or what?" Cora asked waking Speckles up from his daydream.
  "Yes we are," he said as he walked in and curled up in the same place he was when Cora had nudged him. Cora slept right next to him still wondering why she decided to come with.
  That night at the pack, Cora's mother was frantic about Cora being missing, "Cinder, have you seen Cora?" She asked.
  "No," Cinder replied as she watched the older Utahraptor run to another member of the pack.
  "Lava! Cora's missing!" She said frantically as she began sweating through her feathers filled with anxiety.
  "Don't worry, I will find her." She said to her mother.
  "Oh thank you so much," she said as she watched Lava walk into the forest followed by Rain. A few seconds later, Rain came running back telling her that he was the new leader until Lava returns. They all return to the cave to fall into a deep slumber.
