Backstory: Before having a relationship with Lois Lane, Superman had a romance with Sarah Rogers, also known as Captain America. Before fighting Red Skull and sacrificing herself to prevent him from destroying the world, she gives a baby she had with Kal-El to Powergirl through recommendations from Doctor Fate. This child was named Steve Kent Rogers. After years of training his powers, Steve returned home, only to have to be protected from the Regime by staying in a hidden base located at Russia. Natasha hides the truth about his father, claiming that he died, in order to protect him. Some years later, four Regime members attack their hideout and Supergirl swore to reveal him the truth after being defeated by Steve's uncles Natasha and Bucky. But they know that their nephew will find out the truth about his father having become a tyrant, and try to defend the world as Super Soldier.
