(Jaune became part of the Shiba Family and fights alongside the other Shinkenger to try to stop Superman. He warned the US President about the kidnapping of the President of Bialya. The president then secretly hires Mirror Master to kidnap Superman's adoptive parents. Wonder Woman then recruits Raven, Cyborg, Green Lantern, The Flash, Shazam and Hawkgirl to join Superman's cause.)

(In Atlantis, the Shinkenger helped Aquaman and Mera and Cynthia Luthor, also known as Shinken Yellow stops Superman by shooting a kryptonite laser at him, and Kevin Grayson, also known as Shinken Blue prevents Wonder Woman from killing her. Shinken Pink and Shinken Green deal with Green Lantern and Shazam. And this causes Aquaman to trust the Shinkenger.)

(Unfortunately, Superman refused to let go of his grief and decides to remove the inmates from Arkham. Jaune decides to go on his own and secretly helps Batman.)

(Jaune is seen at Gotham Alleyway as he sees Cyborg)

Jaune: All right. Here I come. Shinken Red! Shiba Jaune!

(Jaune transforms into Shinken Red)

Shinken Red: The Same, Red! Shiba Jaune!

(This attracts Cyborg, who sets his sights on Jaune)

Cyborg: Who are you?

Shinken Red: I am the leader of the Samurai Sentai Shinkenger!

Cyborg: So you are one of the guys who prevented Superman from teaching a lesson to Aquaman.

Shinken Red: And this made us friends.

Cyborg: If you are Superman's enemy, then you are my enemy too!

Shinken Red: At least I am not part of this death squad!

(They fight. Cyborg let the rage get the best of himself, and this gave Jaune the advantage he needed to easily take him down.)

Shinken Red: Couldn't even take the rust off my sword.

(Then he goes to Arkham Asylum, where he sees some Regime Soldiers.)

Shinken Red: I should have brought reinforcements when I could.

(Suddenly the Regime Soldiers are incapacitated by Black Widow's shots.)

Shinken Red: Thanks, Natasha.

Black Widow: Let's get going.

(Then Wonder Woman comes in.)

Black Widow: Why, if it isn't the Amazon whore herself.

Wonder Woman: You're making a mistake trying to stop us. We are trying to bring peace to this world.

Jaune: Boring...

Wonder Woman: Don't you see? What happened in Metropolis forced our hands, changed the world, and we must change along with it.

Shinken Red: Peace will not be brought like this!

Wonder Woman: Of all people, I thought you would understand!

(They fight. Despite possessing a somewhat godlike strength, Wonder Woman was no match for the leader of the Shinkenger. He finishes her with a slash in her chest.)

Shinken Red: You're not an amazon, you are a joke!

Black Widow: (communicates) Bucky, where are you?

Winter Soldier: (communicates) I am on Block C. And it looks like Superman is here too.

Black Widow: (communicates) On my way.

(At Block C, Winter Soldier is seen attracting Solomon Grundy to an explosive trap, which works and blows him up, not killing him because Grundy is a zombie. Meanwhile Shinken Red and Black Widow come in at time to witness a prison riot. Then Superman himself comes in and notices Shinken Red.)

Superman: (angry) You...

(Suddenly Batman, Green Arrow and Nightwing come in.)

Batman: Stop, Clark. We all know you are better than this!

Superman: Step aside, Bruce!

(Batman looks at Shinken Red)

Batman: You did a great job in Atlantis.

Shinken Red: My father told me about what your enemy did, and how it changed your friend. And as I can see, he changed to worse.

Superman: Metropolis changed me indeed, taught me that criminals never change, and that the fight for justice never ends.

Shinken Red: First the Joker, now this. I wonder when it will really end...

Superman: When no more crime. Everybody wants this.

Shinken Red: We don't know each other. All I wanted was to return home. But thanks to the Shiba Family, I found a new lair. And I will do whatever I can to defend my new lair.

Superman: This is the difference between the possible and the necessary!

Shinken Red: I know what you will say. That Bruce was supposed to be your friend. But that's why he went to stop you. (draws his sword) And so am I!

(They fight. Superman is the biggest opponent Jaune ever faced. But during the fight, Batman throws a red sun grenade on the kryptonian, inhibiting his powers. Then Shinken Red decides to finish the fight by slashing through Superman with his sword.)

Shinken Red: I should thank Batman for this.

(Unfortunately Robin comes in, dragging Victor Zsaasz.)

Robin: Look what I found here. (chokes Zsaasz) Victor Zsaasz. Psychopath. (to Zsaasz) Tell me, Victor. How many women have you killed?

Zsaasz: One hundred twenty one.

Robin: Sounds irredeemable to me.

Batman: Damian, stop.

Robin: No, Bruce. You rather fight your own friends and not the real problem.

Green Arrow: Clark is the problem now, brat!

(Feeling lectured, Robin breaks Zsaasz's right leg and prepares to slit his throat)

Robin: See, Oliver? This is what I am talking about!

(Then Robin slits Zsaasz's throat)

Robin: Problem solved. What's next?

Green Arrow: Now you asked for it!

(Green Arrow aims his arrow as Robin is about to attack. But then Shinken Red has a sword clash with Robin)

Robin: If you wanna stand for Batman, that's your choice. I stand for Superman!

(They fight. The fight is evenly matched as neither Shinken Red nor Robin was having any advantage. But then Jaune starts mocking Robin, and by each insult he got, Damian was angry enough to be brought down and defeated by Jaune.)

Shinken Red: Loser!

(Enraged about being called a loser, Robin tries to kill Shinken Red, but Nightwing gets in the way and gets killed instead, much for Batman's anger. The dark knight shoves him off and Green Arrow shoots various arrows at him, almost killing him. Furious by seeing Batman neglecting Robin, Superman tries to kill him, but somehow Green Arrow gets in the way and gets killed instead. Then Superman carries the wounded Robin and leaves as Batman looks at the dead bodies of Victor Zsaasz, Nightwing and Green Arrow.

Shinken Red: Kevin is gonna kill me for this...

(Things got worse for the newfound rebellion. Martian Manhunter and Captain Atom also died at the hands of Superman. Guy Gardner joined the Insurgency and managed to get the superpill, but was killed by Hal Jordan, who thought he was attacking Superman's parents and killed John Stewart. Fortunately Batman got the pill and managed to give the Insurgency a fighting chance at the cost of him getting gravely injured. And this is only the beginning.)
