Argus a big city in the continent of mistral. The city was normally full of life but today it was full of tears. Julius Arc the strongest mistral huntsmen of his generation and the 5th strongest huntsmen alive funeral was today in that exact city in a mansion owned by the warrior family arc. The weather normally sunny was was today full of dark clouds and rain almost like the heaven were crying. Everyone Important from mistral, Vale, Vacuo and atlas were there looking at a coffin in sadness. His weapon crocea mors laid there as a symbol. Everyone was was wearing black. The arc family was crying. Jaune who always wore his armour and girlfriends who always wore theyre respective outfits all dress in black. Everyone standing under an umbrella jaune however didnt after failing to be there on time to his grandfathers funeral jaune stood there in the rain thinking about his action.

The priest then came and started to talk about julius's life. He talked about the prodigy julius was during his childhood, then how julius became the most  feared hunter in history of remnant all the way up to his death talking about all the achievements julius archived throughout his life. the priest then talked about jaunes dead grandma and how they were the most powerful couple. Jaune couldn't hold it in as he started to cry thinking about how his grandfather has joined his grandma and that the only arc that cared for him other saffron after the transcripts incident had died. Saber, caster rider, rin and sakura all hugged and comforted him. jaune had a hard time having his alter form restrained. he wanted to go and hunt down the whitefang members and deliver justice but he wouldn't ruin his grandfathers funeral by doing that.

Jaune watched with tears as his girlfriends hugged him with illya joining in as the coffin was lowered into ground and dirt was filled. he then read 2 tombstone next to each other.

After a bit the people attending began to move to the mansion for the after funeral reception. artoria and the other tried to get jaune to move but jaune stayed there staring at the tombstone wishing that there was uncorrupted version of the grail to bring back the two parents that loved him. after 10 minutes of starting jaune twitched as the girls all rushed to him hugging him comforting him until jaune heard a voice.

Mr arc the familiar voice said

headmaster ozpin jaune said. Jaune had decided that he wouldn't judge ozpin based on what heroic spirits arc's version did that wouldn't be fair his grandfather would hate him for being a cardin and judging someone.

I came to offer my condolences i knew julius and jupiter form many years. they were the best huntsmen ever produced. They quit when they found out about your pregnancy theyre first grandson. im sure you remember how much jupiter would spoil you your grandfather told me she always sneak extra pudding for you and buy you the most expensive gift. the reason i let you in despite your fake transcripts were because of julius requesting me too. ozpin says remembering jupiter life.

thank you head master jaune says as he looks and see the other professors from beacon he also saw 2 other men. one was a drunk who he remembered from that ruby's rambling as qrow and the other was the most recognisable the general of atlas James ironwood.

but why are you here speaking to me there has to be reason headmaster im sure im the least of your worries i have my girl....... i mean friends with me jaune says not wanting to tell the others that theyre his girlfriends especially not in front of goodwitch who would create unnecessary drama even at a funeral thinking she was still his teacher.

oh and there is an letter for your girlfriends too ozpin says with teasing smirk as jaune stuttered and the girls blushed before rin kicked ozpin in the balls acting tsundere. gylnda goodwitch didnt like the fact that the innocent adorakable knight was tainted by these women she had long come to regret her actions of helping the council kick jaune out when she realised that the next generation of beacons students were suffering from lack of braincells because jaune was 99% of the intelligence the first years had. ironwood and qrow fell on the ground laughing at the strongest huntsmen on the floor holding his lower area from a girl that could be one of his students 

jaune took the letter without a smile but sadness which surprised the beacon teacher as they thought that he would be happy and dancing in joy all but port who knew how jaune was feeling and thought the other of his colleagues were dumbasses. after that the general stepped up and gave jaune another letter.

i also would like to offer my condolences and although i did not agree with your methods i can see you have  more heart then anyone i was great friends with your grandpa and was gonna offer you this when i found out you were kicked out but you disappeared your grandfather told me to help you he saved my life and i owe him a debt i would be honoured if you joined atlas and i too will allow your companions to join. ironwood said not wanting to waste time as he could to see jaune was suffering.

jaune nodded keeping both letter as he and girls walked away. jaune then had rider call Pegasus as they rode to the arc mansion for the reception. as the other started in amazement.

That girls semblance in amazing goodwitch says.

yes but enough of that we are at julius's funeral not and recruiting ground qrow says.

i hate to agree with the drunk but its true lets head to the mansion winter says.

i didnt want to appear in front of him my sister as shameful as it is was one of his biggest tormentors i didnt want to create a scene she said.

yes your sister i wish she was like you then and her team and team jnpr was like you then we wouldn't have had this problem i dont understand why Ms Nikos who i could see loved him and apparently still does would do such a thing ozpin says.

jaune entered the arc mansion he saw thousands of people in there offering theyre condolences to the arc family. he saw the whole arc family gathered for julius's funeral. jaune walked to his grandfathers room as he band to cry and think about his grandfather the girls hugged him carrying as well seeing theyre jaune crying.

grandpa i want to huntsmen and strong like you jaune said.

oh is it well your gonna have to do a lot of training to be strong like me he relpied

i know and i will but i need you to help me grandpa jaune says.

if your serious then on your 7th birthday i will train you he replied

realy yey i will come to you when im 8 jaune said.

mom and dad gave me chores and i barely finished the little arc said.

oh ok jupiter said thats bullshit i know theyre gave him that to make less time for training they are trying to stall his training julius thought

grandpa why doesnt mom dad or my sisters help me train the little arc asked crying.

theyre stupid they help your younger sisters but dont train you but dont worry i will train you julius says cheering up the crying boy.

jaune was being hugged by the girls as he cried and told them about his grandfather. fuirst he lost his grandma who loved him more then his sisters and now his grandpa the only one who supported his dream of being just like him a hero. jaune looked at crocea mors the sword his grandfather left for him in his will. jaune once a gain picked it up.

saber i want to fight you at full power swords only no magic no noble phantasms only swords jaune says wanting to test if he is worthy of his grandfathers sword saber nodded seeing jaunes inner turmoil as they went outside.

 jaune started with over hand strike which saber blocked as she tried to slash him but jaune blocked. the two were doing furious slashes. until saber knocked crocea mors out. jaune not being used to that sword did. good.

You did good jauney for your first time using the sword saber says as jaune smiled unknown to them goodwitch was watching ready to interfere in case jaune wasn't in the right mind to fight. she was amazed that sword skill put her and every huntsmen she knew to shame. jaune finally entered the mansion with his girls following him as jaune decided from now on he will only use Excalibur and caliburn as last resort for now on he will crocea mors as his main weapon to continue his grandfathers legacy. he was so deep in his thoughts he didnt notice that the arc family had come up to him.

son arthur said knocking him out of his thoughts as he saw his old family there and his little nephew there to which his girlfriends cooed and illya puffed she was the cute one not some child.
