It's been a week, Jasper hasn't came back after frantically leaving Stevens barn, well according to Lapis and Peridot but are they reallllllllly trustworthy?

"Come on Lapis, what the hell did you to her!" I was by by far pissed, I know she is holding in something important but she won't tell me! At this point she was irritable at my constant questions.

"Look we both can have a win-win situation if you tell me! I get Jasper back and I will stop bugging you!" I said.

"It's not a win if she comes back", She kept speed-walking when reaching the entrance of the barn doors before I grabbed her wrist and pulled her. I knew that was a mistake. She turned slowly towards me with empty, mirror-like eyes and raised her hand slowly. The "lake" Steven and Peridot made rose just like the shape of her hand ready to pound me into the dirt.

Peridot notices the possible murder after diverting her eyes away from her and Lapis' "meep morp", "Stop! Stop! Stop!" She wimply ran towards Lapis and grabs her arm back before she could bash me in.

Peridot takes a deep breath in and sighs,"Lapis told her that she would lose everyone and everything she loves....this wouldn't have been a p-problem if Lapis didn't start picking on her and how she acts towards y-you..."

I gasped but she continued, " Picked at her harsh brutal way she hugged you, the way she isn't romantic whatsoever, and just barbaric!"

My blood was boiling, I whipped my head towards the water witch, she still had that repulsive smug look on her face.

" The poor thing started looking up things on Peridots technological device. And after that, she ran..." Lapis said and touched both my shoulders behind me," never to be seen again!"

Lapis began laughing, Peridot whimpers in fear. I turn around swiftly and kick Lapis in the gut, knocking the wind outta her, I went on top and straddled her.

"Listen to me, you will never, NEVER touch or talk to her like that again! You mess with her again and you are gonna be in deep shit! "

I got up still stepping on Lapis stomach so she could wiggle in pain under my heeled boots,"thanks Peridot, at least your civil"

"Jealous Bitch" I said before walking away into the woods to track my warrior gem.

After a solid hour, I found heavy set footprint just like Jasper's. I followed it and after another two hours I could here her.

"Oh (y/n), dear, you don't think I'm harsh do you? Am I a monster?"

Jasper was talking to herself but peculiarly holding a huge mass of something in her arms.

"The way she would gasp for air in my hugs, the way she winced when I talk in a quiet room... it all makes sense!"

I was appalled! She thinks she is a monster!

"And Lapis is right, I-"

"Lapis doesn't know shit Jasper!"

I stepped away from the tree I was hiding behind and Jasper inhales sharply. She turns around towards me and I see what's in her arms....they are huge bouquet of white daisies... Jasper, a warrior gem from Homeworld, is picking daisies!

"Jasper, love, you aren't a monster, you are not violent, you aren't harsh...okay sometimes alittle rough but I love that about you Jasp! What, you're gonna believe Lapis of all people, the gem that kept you enslaved in the bottom of the freezing sea over me? Me, the gem who helped you find a new understanding of life, helped the gems accept you, who shows you love and support?"

"(Y/n), I- I was sure you didn't want me anymore-"

"Jasper! When did I ever show you signs that I wanted you gone?"

She blanked. She fell on her knees and bowed her head down in disappointment. I took a deep breath, taking in all my surroundings with her. We are surrounded by mossy trees that are in a circular pattern, us two in the very center. The sun is setting and shadows spring to life until fireflies light up the evening, and the overwhelming amount of daisies blossoming from the floor.

Jasper still had an unreasonable amount in her arms as she moped. She began crawling towards me on her knees, pity and sorrow growing in my chest

"These are for you (y/n)"

Hope and love fluttered in me, Jasper really does care about me. I sit and lay down, resting my head on her thick thigh, she planted the sweet smelling daisies in my hair. I watched her, the way her eyes would study where next she would place the next flower in which spot, the way she would push a strand of her hair once it fell on my face, the way she laughed when she noticed I made a funny face. I noticed everything about her.

"Jasper lay with me", I whispered.

She stared into my eyes for a moment before hesitatingly shifting to a relaxed pose to lie down. She extends her arm out and I climb on top of her, laying my head on her chest.

"Jasper I will always love you, no matter what. You can lose all your muscles and I'd still love you!"

"Do you (y/n)?"

"I do Jasper, I do"

"Oh and another thing Jasp..."

She looked up towards me with her beautiful happy golden eyes.

"I'm gonna make sure Lapis gets nice and comfy when I trap her in my ice", I smiled as my gem iridescentlly glows while frost grows between my fingertips and connects to Jasper's warm skin. She bellows out a laugh.She cuddles me deeper and I took that as a yes, smiling at the love of my life.

And the rest of the night the two laid in the nature talking nonsense, sleeping in the light of fireflies and bathed in each other's love and warmth that night.
