Chapter 7- Swimming
??? POV
Time for the test...
(Y/n) POV
"C'mon, Co, we are going to the river!" I pleaded at her, trying to get her up from bed.
She groaned. "Five more minutes, I swear," she said.
"Ugh, imma leave without you if you don't come Co," I threatened her.
She groaned again and I just went out to find the boys and go swimming.
"Ready?" Seon asked us all.
"I'm ready," I said.
"Where is Courtney?" Darion asked looking behind me.
"She was being a lazy butt," I joked. We all laughed as we walked together toward the river.
We played for a while and gave spooky stories about murderers and ghosts.
I liked scary stuff so I didn't mind.
Seon suddenly wrapped his arms around me. "Don't be scared my Dear~" he flirted.
I blushed and turned my head away only to have him kiss my cheek.
"H-Hey!" I replied looking at him. He smirked and pecked my lips with a kiss.
I "playfully" pushed him away while staring at him. I didn't really want him to do that, it was awkward.
I saw Darion's face burn red with jealousy as he went to the other side of me. They both came up and held my arms. Soon, I felt myself being pushed down.
"H-Hey guys! Your gonna drown me!"I yelled trying to keep my head above water. They continued and started arguing with each other to let my arms go.
Suddenly I saw something zoom past and Seon screamed.
I felt myself being pulled down more and Seon letting go.
The object holding me pushed me down so much. I looked to see Darion, his eyes were wide open and one full of blood from an arrow piercing his forehead.
I screamed at the top of my lungs. But quickly had to close it for air before I sunk to the bottom.
I thrashed around but his grip around my arm was too much.
I could barely hold my breath any longer and it was so cold and I gave up as my body got weak.
I let out my air and could feel myself suffocating. I tried crying into the river and closed my eyes shut, hoping someone would help me.
Then I felt my legs and head being held and floating up.
I kept my eyes closed and shivered as I felt the wood floor of the ramp beneath me.
The arms holding me, slipped from under me, and I heard someone receding deeper into the water.
I shivered and stayed there. After a while, I opened my eyes and saw Seon. He was swimming backwards. I called out to him but he didn't answer.
I knew we had to get out of there and how did he get so far from when he saved me?
I ignored that logic and continued to jump off and look around to see if that man was still around.
As I got closer, Seon was still ignoring me, I was so close, I knew he could hear me, why was he ignoring me? We had to get out of there before that killer got us.
Then I saw his eyes opened. Lifeless.
Unable to process what happened, I still went up to him. I went to carry him from his back, but felt something protruding from his back. I went to pull it out and blood quickly filled the water around us.
I went too scream but realised the flaw in that, and quickly closed my mouth.
I fled back to shore. Suddenly, I saw a child being thrown into the river, it was Ben.
As fast as I could, I swam to help him because it looked as if he couldn't swim.
"I'm coming Ben!" I called out to reassure him. Then I saw a man, wearing an old hockey mask, walk out from the brush, with a bow in hand.
I fought off being scared and quickly swam in front of Ben, I tilted my back to the guy pointing the arrow at me. I attempted to shield him as best I could.
I pushed the boy, while still covering him and helping his swim, to the ramp.
I was surprised when I still wasn't feeling any pain. Then I looked down and Ben was dead.
He couldn't swim because that was just his lifeless body crashing around the water.
I gasped but returned to the surface. I looked back to see the man was gone. I looked into his young eyes and cried.
I clutched onto his shirt and cried into him.
Everyone else has to be dead...
OH MY GOD! I HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!!
I ran to the car but felt something tug on my arm as I entered the forest.
I screamed and used all my strength to get away from him.
But he seemed too strong.
I looked behind to see a very tall, buff, intimidating man wearing worn out clothes and a broken, dirty, hockey mask.
I cried and fell to my knees.
His grip on my wrist stayed the same, but he tilted his head enormously to the side.
"Please, just, kill me quickly!" I begged, not wanting to be tortured or have a slow painful death.
He handed me a piece of paper with writing on it.
I took it and read in childish writing.
