EPILOGUE
'Perhaps evil is a mirage that we have come to accept as reality because we cannot accept ourselves to be the embodiment of this'
"He is beautiful" Martha cooed as she rocked her baby in her arms, tears sparkling in her eyes.
"He is isn't he?" One nurse agreed as she crooned over at the little child cradled in white cloth. The infant cried out, his eyes looking up at the face that smiled down at him.
Confusion masked the child's face as he wailed loudly, perhaps wondering why there was so much light, why were there weird faces looking at him?
What were those things staring at him, why was he here, what was he?
Martha had never felt this much joy before, it almost made her forget that he wasn't here, Duncan wasn't by her side and will never be.
"What are you going to name him?" One of the nurses said amongst the trio of women smiling eagerly at the mother.
She looked at her little bouncing joy, her new reason to keep on living "I...didn't think of a name before."
"What's his father's name?" A plump nurse said, judging by her accent, she sounded Mexican.
Martha frowned a little but could not even bear to bring such negative emotions in this heavenly room.
"His father is Duncan but I don't think that'd be an appropriate name."
The nurse attempted to speak, possibly to encourage the mother but was held back by the other nurses. fter they whispered something to her ear she didn't say anything as she tried to hide her look of shock but failed miserably.
Martha didn't care as she stared lovingly at the being in her arms, he looked so tiny, so pure.
"Jason" She suddenly said as a thought, as calm as her soul at the moment washed through.
"His name is Jason Ovar."
