Justin

As I was on my to my car, I was stopped by my fans. And, of course, I took pictures with them and gave them autographs. I was then stopped by someone who I wish wasn't here.

"Hey Justin!" Hailey said.

"Sup," I said, trying to keep my cool.

"So, can you do me a quick favor? Just this one time and I'll never ask again." She asked me.

I was thinking about it really hard.

Should I? Or should I not?

I decided to do the favor for her, and besides, I don't want to turn her down.

"Sure, but make it quick." I replied.

"I promise." She said, smiling. "Would you mind dropping me off at the mall? I would drive there myself but my dad banned me from driving for 1 week."

"Okay," I sighed. "Which mall?"

"Los Angeles Shopping Center."

I started to rethink my decision. That mall was 20 minutes away. I can't keep Ariana hanging.

"Just drive as fast as you can. Or take a shortcut." She said, knowing what I was thinking.

I actually knew a shortcut to downtown.

"Okay fine."

"Yay! Thanks!"

Ariana

"Jai? What are you doing here?" I asked, surprised.

"Oh, I just came to visit the park for a while. And then, I saw you here, so I figured I might as well say hi to you." He replied.

"Oh, okay." I said, thinking about how mad I was at him still.

"You're not still mad at me, are you?" He asked.

"Well, considering the fact that my ex boyfriend was trying to make out with me, then no." I said with a sarcastic tone.

"Can I make it up to you?"

"Well, I'm with Justin so no."

"Are you sure about that? I just saw him get into the car with Hailey."

He pointed in front of me. And there he was. He opened the door for Hailey, got into the driver side, and drove away.

I tried my best to keep my anger away, but instead, my eyes became watery. I blinked away the tears, and turned to Jai.

"So, how about you making it up to me?" I asked.

Justin

I stopped at a stoplight right when I got a text. It was from Ariana. (A/N: btw, she got a new phone during Christmas.)

From: Ariana <3

Hey! I decided to go walk around the town while you went to drop off Hailey! I don't mind btw :) See you later boo!

I put down my phone.

"So, is it okay if I come to the mall?" I asked. I decided that since Ariana came back, I decided to get her a welcome back gift since I was almost at the mall.

"Sure!" Hailey replied.

Ariana

I walked from the park to the town with Jai. I could hear the gasps and murmurs from the fangirls around us.
"What is HE doing here?" One of them said.

"I thought they broke up!"

"She better not be cheating on JB!"

"Of course not! She doesn't like Jai!"

"Then why are they hanging out together?!"

"They're probably just friends! I'm glad they made up!"

I gave Jai a "just ignore them," face and walked into a ice cream shop.

I got a feeling that some boys in there were staring at me, considering that I'm wearing a skin-tight skirt and crop top.

Jai decided to help out by pretending he was my "boyfriend." He put his arm around my waist and gave the other boys a look.

They all looked away and I mouthed Jai a "thank you."

We were still in line but he didn't remove his hand from my waist. I started to feel uneasy and shifted a little. Jai realized that his hand was still there and removed it.

There was many varieties of ice cream but only two caught my eye. My two favorite flavors, cookie dough and rocky road.

I ordered a waffle cone with one scoop of cookie dough and another one with rocky road. Jai decided what he wanted and ordered it.

We found a table and I tried my best to hide myself from the paparazzi..

"Want to borrow my jacket and sunglasses?" Jai offered.

"S-sure. I don't want any paps to see us." I replied.

He handed me his black jacket and sunglasses. I tied my hair up in a ponytail and looked away from the window.

The paparazzi came by and noticed Jai but thank goodness they didn't recognize me.

All I heard was the shutters and clicks from the cameras and all I saw was the flashes that came from them.

The paparazzi finally went away after we got our ice cream.

We went back to our table and ate.

"Ariana, I'm very sorry. Is there anyway you could forgive me?" He asked breaking the silence between us again.

"Well, I appreciate this. How about one more thing and I'll forgive you?"

"Sure, what do you want to do?"

"Anything you want to, really."

Jai looked down at my neck. He saw that I was wearing the necklace he gave me for Christmas. How did I forget about it?

"Soo, I see you like the necklace." He said awkwardly.

"Yeah, it's very nice." I replied taking a bite of my cone.

"How about a movie? At my house?" He suggested.

I thought about the old days when me and Jai were dating. I thought it was a bit weird watching a movie with my ex. At his house. But I accepted it anyway because it reminded me how much fun I had.

"Sure, why not."

Justin

I walked around with Hailey, going into every clothing store there is with her.

People saw us hanging out and started saying shit and such. But I don't give a damn. Hailey is just a friend and I belong with Ariana. Can I just hang with my ex as "friends" without people talking shit?

As I waited for Hailey to pick out clothes, there was a jewelry store across from us that caught my eye.

"Hailey, I'm gonna be right back."

"Okay."

I headed to the store and looked at all the stunning jewelry.

Earrings, rings, necklaces, and all sorts of jewelry you could name.

I saw a pair of earrings, a necklace, and a ring that I knew were perfect for Ari.

The earrings were silver and had a moon design on each of them, bedazzled in diamonds.

The necklace the word "Moonlight" on it with a bunch of hearts embedded into the silver material.

The ring had a heart on it with the letter "A" on it. I knew that Ari would love these.

I asked to see them and bought them and went back to Hailey.

Ariana

As we were finishing up our ice creams, we had quite a conversation.
We talked about how our lives were going and the embarrassing & funny moments we had. I even cried a little when Jai told me something sad.

We headed outside the shop and walked to where he parked his car. He opened the passenger door for me and I got inside and he did the same.

We chatted a lot more on the way to Jai's house and to be honest, I actually enjoyed it.

Justin

"Wanna grab something to eat?" I asked Hailey who was holding a lot of bags. It was like going to the mall with Ariana.

"Sure, a pretzel sounds good right now." She replied.

We headed to the food court and she found us a table while I went to get our pretzels.

I got our pretzels and headed to our table. It was pretty awkward being silent so I decided to start a conversation.

"So, are you still with Jai?" I asked, curious about what's happening between the both of them.

"We're taking a break from each other. We didn't break up, we just need space from each other for a while," she sighed.

"Have you guys spoke to each other yet?"

"Not for two weeks."

Wow. I couldn't even spend one day without talking to Ariana. 

"So when do you think you'll be talking to him?" 

"I don't know actually. I guess if we both make up our minds."

Throughout the whole conversation, she kept staring at me. It was like she was intrigued in me. There was a look in her eyes that I have never seen before in my entire life.

After we ate, we headed back to the parking lot. I offered to hold some of Hailey's bags. Since I paid for the pretzels, she wanted to pay me back. So, she grabbed her wallet out of her bag but then it was snatched by a thief. 

"No! My wallet!!" Hailey yelled out and caught everyone's attention. 

I dropped the bags I was carrying as I ran towards the thief and Hailey went to get security guards.

Ariana 

"Oh wait, what about Justin?" Jai asked.

"I hope he doesn't mind. I mean he is catching up with Hailey at the mall so why shouldn't we?" I replied.

"Good answer." He smiled.

We arrived at his house. He pulled into the driveway, got out, and opened the passenger door for me. His brothers, Luke and Beau, were in the front playing with water guns and water balloons. 

"Hey, do I spot little miss Ariana?" Beau asked as Luke noticed I was here.

"Hey Beau! Hey Luke!" I replied.

Jai opened the door for me and notioned for me to sit on the couch. 

"I need to use the bathroom so stay here until I get back." 

As he went upstairs, Beau came inside, soaking. 

"Hey Ariana! Wanna see a rainbow?" He asked.

I gasped. "A rainbow?!" I exclaimed. "I love rainbows!"

I ran outside and stood in front of the porch. I looked up and 'SPLASH!'

Luke was on the roof with a giant bucket of water and poured all of it on me. 

Beau gave Luke a deep stare. 

"Luke! You were supposed to do it to Jai, not Ariana!" He yelled.

My nice outfit, my hair and my makeup were ruined. 

The good thing about this situation is that there was actually a rainbow. 

Jai ran out and saw me soaking. 

He took off his jacket and put it on me. 

"Go inside and wait for me there." He said.

I nodded and slowly made my way inside.

Justin

I chased the thief all around the mall. He eventually gave up and I tackled him onto the floor. Hailey and the security guards came by and the guards put him in mall jail and I gave Hailey her wallet back. 

"Thank you Justin, I really appreciate it!" Hailey said as she gave me a hug.

As she hugged me, I eyed the thief very carefully. Something about him seems familiar, as if I know him, along with the security guards. They both look familiar to me. I decided to shake it off.

"Let's go home now." We hurried down to where we left our stuff and went to the parking lot as fast as we could before any more trouble is caused.

Hailey 

Everything turned out the way I wanted everything to be. 

I bribed Scooter, Justin's (and Ariana's) manager, to be the thief. 

I also bribed Kalin and Myles to be the security guards and supposedly take the 'thief' to "mall jail."

I took out my phone and texted the three.

To: Scooter, Kalin, Myles 

Fr: Hailey 

Thanks for being part of  my plan. You guys did an awesome job. Now that I finally got what I wanted, you guys get what you wanted. I'll send over 2.5 million dollars to your bank accounts at the end of the day.

Jai

I headed outside to see what all the commotion was about. I saw a soaking Ariana, and my two brothers literally about to fight each other. 

"Jai! It was Luke's fault! The water wasn't meant for Ariana, it was meant for you!" Beau exclaimed.

"I'll talk to both of you guys later. C'mon Ariana." I lead Ariana inside. 

"Luckily for you, our cousin is staying here so she has clothes with us. I'll go grab some for you."

Woohoo guys!! Sorry for keeping you guys on hold for the longest time!! So to make up for it, here's a new chapter of "Jariana!" Hope you guys enjoy this chapter (hopefully it doesn't suck since I rushed towards the end) and I appreciate all the love and support you've given me for this book! I just love you all so much! ❤️
