Thoughts on a Promise
Note: I touched upon all kinds of promises. Leaving you on this thought (2019).
===============
Does a promise need to be about life or death,
for it to be a promise?
Can you make a promise without saying,
"I cross my heart and hope to die,
pin a needle in my eye"?
Does a promise need to have consequences
when it is broken?
Do you always have to suffer in some way
if you broke a promise?
Do you need to be punished?
Are there times when you don't have to be?
Does a promise have to be between two or more people
to become a promise?
Can you make a promise with yourself?
How trustworthy are you to you?
How many times can you break your own promise
before you lose your own trust with yourself?

After Note:
Is this the last poem?
Well, I feel like this collection has come to a close. I might pick it up again some time in the future, but for now, it's THE END guys ;)
"Jar of Promises" is completed!
