It had been several months since Ochako and the others lost their quirks. They had to give up their hero agencies and give them to other people. Ochako's program, agency, and building were taken over by Melissa, who renovated the building into a facility to train quirkless people to use their suits of armor. Ochako didn't want to give her entire business to Melissa, but Izuku pulled some strings and favors with the government to have them force Ochako to hand over control of her business to Melissa.

Some of the former 1-A students got teaching positions at UA, while Ochako got a desk job at her parents' construction company.

She used to have everything. Now she had nothing.

No hero job.

No quirk.

No Izuku.

Nothing.

And then she saw the news.

"This just in!" the news reporter said, "The number one hero Iron Man and the pro hero Rescue are engaged and are already expecting a child!"

After Ochako saw this...

She snapped.

She went to Bakugo's house and banged on the door. Bakugo answered it.

"What do you want, Round Face?" he asked.

"You still have the suit we had made for Deku?" Ochako asked.

"Yeah, but it doesn't have a power source anymore. Why do you ask?" Bakugo questioned.

"Give it to me." Ochako answered, "It's time for Deku to pay."

After Bakugo reluctantly gave her the suit, Ochako then went to Hatsume's laboratory, since Hatsume was the one who created the suit. Ochako then explained everything to her.

"Uraraka, I'm not sure if this is a good idea." Mei said, "I do have another power source that, in theory, should be compatible with the suit, but it's too unstable."

"I don't care. I'm willing to take the risk." Ochako said before lowering her head, "I've got nothing to lose anyway."

Hatsume reluctantly put a new power source in the suit, as well as redesigned the suit's look.

Ochako then put the suit on... and she screamed in agony as soon as it was powered on.

"Uraraka!" Mei shouted as she was about to deactivate the suit, but Ochako stopped her.

"No. I'm fine now." Ochako grunted as the pain stopped.

Ochako was now prepared... to kill Izuku.

"You're dead, Deku." Ochako said, "You, Melissa, and all your Avengers."

But that's when a portal opened up near her and sucked her in.

"Uraraka!" Mei called out after her, but it was too late and Ochako was gone.

...

When Ochako came to, she was in the same building, but it was abandoned. She went outside and saw a news report on a Jumbotron of her, Izuku, and their old classmates all as pro heroes together and fighting crime. And to make things more confusing... Izuku was wearing the high-tech suit that she herself was currently wearing, but it looked the way it did originally and had Izuku's colors.

"What the...?" Ochako whispered.

That's when a number of portals opened up in the sky and a number of robots and airships came out of them and began attacking the city.

The Divergence had begun.
